Thanks! At least our voices can be heard, if not regarded!

I agree with you I was shocked that they made his character do such a harsh thing like slapping a girl

Word! Asad Ahmed Khan adds another feather to his cap today... Not only is he sexist, chauvinistic but as of today he is also a misogynist 👏

@Underlined This is the height of hero-worship! 🤢

Can i give you jhappis and pappies for this?

To show my support i need to write something more but because its three in the morning, i am just going to copy and paste what i wrote in a very enlightening thread:

... I love it when people "put violence in context" of the situation ... makes me feel so warm and gooyey about the future of mankind ... and what did you say " he will regret it and hurt himself even more" ... awww! how romantic ... but wait a minute, is that not what habitual abusers do too ? ... they are always sorry and solemnly promise to never ever do it again ... except when they are in a rage or mentally traumatised and the idiotic girl has no sense and she enters at the wrong time ...

So we all agree? "if she had not done this ...", "if she had not said that ...", then our poor, stressed hero "wouldn't have done this"

... Now , where have i heard this before?

@Aliya_A It is totally disgusting that there are people who would hero worship at any cost. What's wrong is wrong and no amount of lying to yourself to make one feel beter about the character is going to erase what's been done!Btw thanks for taking the time out to reply!

I have ranted a lot about this and I'm gunna say this again, a gentleman never hits a woman under any circumstances. It's just NOT right. Nothing can justify this. Yes eh was angry, emotional, couldn't think right but he could have showed anger in some other ways. I couldn't imagine Asad hitting any woman even in my wildest thoughts. Being raised by a single mother, loving with two women, I thought he has huge respect for women and won't do any such thing under any circumstances but I was wrong. At the moment, I just can't respect Asad. I just don't feel right. I need time to get over this and he needs to redeem A LOT. He needs to feel guilt, immense guilt even before finding the truth out. He needs to realize how low he stooped by slapping Zoya. And after finding out the truth, I want to repent really bad. And Zoya better not make it easy for him. She better make him pay hard. don't wanna see a love track starting anytime soon. I can't take it. I'm so utterly disappointed. I'm just hoping Asad's mom finds out about the slap and makes him realize how low he stooped. How wrong it is to hit a woman.

Over the weekend, I kept on thinking about Asad getting angry, yelling, kicking Zoya out and cursing her. I was all ready for this because I knew what Asad was going through. I understood his pain. I wasn't even going to blame for all this and I would've defended him myself, if anybody blamed him for getting angry at her but not even in my wildest dreams did I expected this slap. I was shocked would be an understatement. Now I can't justify Asad's actions. He was WRONG! Period.
