That slap was too much for me. It should have not happened. There are million ways of showing uttter frustration and anger on TV but why use physical abuse? If they are trying to portray something good then why not show a man who CAN control his anger? Wouldn't that be something different and more inspiring?
I know it's only a show but maybe I'm extra sensitive about male abuse on woman because of personal experience (no I was never physically abused but mentally...oh boy...you have no idea).

I dont base my decision on how women i nIndia are treated through this, i base my opinion on how women are treated coz i live in India, and everyday i see the same stereotypes being lived, glorified on popular entertainment...

this is just another example of the same...
as of Zoya saying sorry, she wasnt coming to say it because she was responsible, she was saying it iin the sense of a condolence of sorts...
how is she responsible for the shootout? mamus men came to know of Mariam's location coz of her sighting which was not Zoya's doing... Mariam came of her own accord... and when Asad discovered it was he who sent her away making for probably another sighting in the day... and when Mariam came back with the mother the third one...
Zoya at no point in time brought Mariam to the house which could have thrown suspicion on them... so she cant be held responsible...
My POV no offence meant

I didn't mean it to you.. or the stereotypes. Am just saying reading the comments around that people need to get out of the mind-set that a woman can slap a man but a man under no circumstances can slap a woman! I don't appreciate slapping from any side... People need to stop with this comment and this mind-set. If you are as emotional and angry as Asad then frustration will come out. Am sure if it were Zoya then the same would happen.

You gotta agree with me on that zoya should have told asad when she saw mariyaam. As he strictly warned her!..
anyhoo no point arguing.. they aren't real people.. all written by the directors.. am sure in the near future they will show asad regretting this and hurting himself ..

no offence taken! 😊

aww c'mon... thne he should have yelled at najma who was there first... or mariam who was directly responsible...
or he should just have taken the cops to dear mamujaan... he knew what they were planning... not her

I wish he just yelled get out from our lives. The slap was undone!!! Not needed!! Asad is a man who supposedly respects women, so why the slap!! That just negates everything they've been showing abt him. KSG acted brilliantly ofcourse, but this was defn a wrong move from the CVs

Completely agree... the man cannot take out his anger on an innocent woman... esp when he didnt have the guts to do it with the perpertrator himself... makes him come across as weak...
sorry tp hear about the personal experience, hope you have moved on now

1. Man being justified in letting his emotions loose through such means... that is how DV is excused in India
2. HIm doing it for a person who actually should have been lauded... how many women for who Zoya would be a role model would be emboldened for taking such a brave step now?

aree yaar u all are taking the whole point somewhere else bcz the situation is not about how asad treats women but why he did it, i m not defending him but guys think for one time that her mother has got bullet near her heart , mother is the person who is very close to every child's heart if she gets hurt u ill be the first one who will get disturbed and u can definitely slap a person bcz of whom she is in this situation (without knowing the facts).
i request u guys don't make it women and men fight

what AAK did was totally Wrong but you just have to watch it without thinking too much about the REAL world and its Morality. Asad is going to repent bad for this act .

And that's why I always hated Mills and Boons stories, they showcase the girls to be so powerful but when it comes to their men they become so timid and let themselves get abused. Hope to god Zoya doesn't justify his behaviour as well and forgives him.

Also the bold - it's like saying I just stabbed somebody, you know shit happens.
