Well said. Abusive relationships start with slaps and then, when people justify it, these slaps continue to more and worse things. We need to stop justifying this as OK even if it is from our favorite character. As women we should not OK these behaviors.

Either slapping is OK or it is not OK and in my book, it is not OK. there are other ways to express your anger, this is not one of them.

Correct! coz in serials its just about how the man finally about right by slapping the woman who was a wrong-doer... movies do the same...
but what they forget in real life is that people only take the role model of slapping the woman... right or wrong becomes entirely subjective, decided by the man himself
While here it might not be such big thing, am very disappointed that such a PH is endorsing such populist and stagnant portrayals

It is has NOTHING about not understanding is POV, it is about a culture where we condone slapping women as something that is justified period. There is no justification. We know he was angry and that is his reason but it is not OK or justify it and we do not have to accept it. We should be outraged and we should not be pushed down for holding that view - i see that happening a lot here on this forum and it really bugs me. I think it is very cultural. in the west, no woman would tolerate this but in india, so many women are accepting this as ok. There lies the reason why we have a much stronger stand against abuse towards women in the west compared to other countries. i am not saying women are not abused here, but there in lies a major difference - attitude.

Well said!! Bang on👏👏

what AAK did was totally Wrong but you just have to watch it without thinking too much about the REAL world and its Morality. Asad is going to repent bad for this act .

Kind of see what you are saying but you know MB is one thing... if they had to show just a an MB they shouldnt have complicated it with social evils like honour killings...
coz when they mixed this MB with the honour killing, rape it just threw up a picture of social apathy and cloistering towards women who stand up instead of a heart-wrenching conflict... even though this might not have been intended

Hey Trina!!! Nice seeing you here again.

@ bold I might not be too sure regarding this.
4 lions have a bad history if you look at the repenting tracks *cough cough*
Let's just hope they have learnt from their mistakes.

The things is that some viewers are supporting because what happened to dilshad was brutal I mean she could've lost her life and I agree with it and coming from Asad's POV everything accumulated but he shouldn't have raised his hand he could've done something else like release his anger on something else rather that directly on her because to him she seems to be the sole reason his beloved mother is in the hospital

i know... and if he blames Zoya he should blame himself for allowing that mama to roam free... i mean would he seriously have been ok if Mariam had been killed?
sounds like the typical Indian mentality, as long as it isnt me or my family i am going to wear blinkers!

I am very disappointed with Asad today. He has stooped VERY low in my eyes and I'm not too sure if he can make it up to me again.

In Many Serials They Have Shown When The Lead Hero Or The Villain Does Wrong .The Lead Heroine Has Slapped Them .One More Thing All Have Brain N Can Think What Is Wrong N Right. Some Do Not Do Things Because They R Shown In Films Or Movies .They Do Bad Things Because They Think Bad In Their Mind.

Nor is she na,,, and in this case toh she didnt cause it... so shouldnt we look at it from her POV too? wanting to save someone, almost getting killed, coming back again braving the displeasure trying to help, finally sending Mariam away in the larger interest only to have her coming back due to circumstances... what would you say if you thought only about this train...
that she followed what her conscience as well as Asad told her, yet she got this?
