Well this is highly offensive. I hope it wasn't meant that way.
Pleasant to god...pleasant to Satan 😲...Well I guess its funny as well for someone who believes in neither. Trying to please someone nonexistent...yep.

That's not cool
To each it's own
And it's between u and God no third person
God does not put pressure on u
It's by choice
Just respect

Actually no hinduism does not have a dress code. My family is hindu and I have never had a dress code or anything about covering head. My mother has never covered her head either. And actually I looked it up as well. Hinduism has no dress code...dress however you like. Its culture that forces you to do things you wish not to.

Also, I have one observation. I don't know much about the religion but I had few Muslim colleagues(Guys) who used to wear Pant to work with the seam not touching their shoes. As in they would fold the pant couple of inch above the ankle. Does this have some religious explanation?

You make an interesting point...
I think he wore the Kurta yesterday as it was a day off...and to go to the office he's wearing a suit.
With his sister...a part of it of course has to do with him being an over-protective older brother. But also it has to do with the fact that she wanted to wear jeans. This doesn't have to do with being modern or not...it's because Jeans are usually more tight fitted clothing...which show off the shape of a woman's body. To wear see through or such tight clothing goes against the islamic principles of modesty or not displaying one's body.
That's why you see the women on the show...dressed in such loose clothing...😆
About the pant being folded above the ankle...yes...it is not compulsary but it is a tradition of our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) to wear it as such...and so you'll find men who want to emulate him doing so...especially at least for prayer time.
With regards to the clothing...it may not make sense to you if you are not of muslim faith...and even within muslims circles..people follow guidelines to whatever their level of commitment to their faith is.
Even if you look at Zoya...she wears loose fitted shirts or blouses over hear jeans...she's fully clothed...that's the most important thing.
