What the hell is he supposed to wear ? A women's dress ? 😆

IKR ! It's lke he's been bound to only wear kurta's now since that's what he wore in the previous episodes. 😆 He's a businessman, and it's normal for them to be wearing suits, regardless of what religon they belong to :)

The problem is that yes there is a certain dress code for wherever you go. His work might enforce a pant suit attire so he follows it (and might I say looks incredibly delicious following it 😛 😆), but the lounge has an attire as well (thats what najma said right). If you are supposed to wear jeans there then that is their dress code (just like there are dress codes in certain parties).
And there lies the hypocrisy not to mention extremely regressive thought process. Hypocrisy because when his work makes him wear certain clothing then its fine for him, but not fine for his sister. If his 'tehzeeb' is so important to him then he should find a workplace more suitable to his 'tehzeeb'...one where he is allowed to wear eastern clothing. You cannot say one thing is fine for one person while another thing isnt. And what if tomorrow Najma found work and her work required her to wear suits (the ones with skirts not pants)...you think he would ever in a million years let her work there...umm let me think NO. And you see that is where the hypocrisy lies. Okay for me but not for you mentality is the definition of hypocrisy. I think this mentality stems from his being a man because it is more acceptable for him to do whatever he likes (within bounds ofcourse) in that society but for a woman...she cant even choose the clothes she can wear let alone going out with friends.

@Chocolate charm- Its normal for a girl to wear jeans regardless of what religion she belongs to. Wearing salwar or any saree or any such clothing is a cultural phenomenon not a religious requirement.

P.S. from everything everyone has said I gather that in Islam you try not to look attractive to the opposite sex right. Even men have to dress modestly so as to not attract attention...well then Asad has no right to wear such clothing because man he burned up my scream to say nothing of my scorching body temperature 😆...And what about all the girls that will stare gawk eyed at him on the streets? Inappropriate clothing Mr.Asad.

I hated the pants .. yeh darjee mujhe kahin mil jaaye who made a lead wear such ill fitting suit pants... 😡..

Bade Bhaijaan.. tight pants pehnte hain ... Chhote Bhaijaan loose .

Me thinks they are trading wardrobes and need to switch pants..

Sacchi !!!

My first ATBB(All time block buster) thread in QH Forum.🥳

P.S: Ppl I have no problem with him wearing suit to Office. My point was his sister had no right to choose what she wanted to wear.

Asad is a Typical Male Chauvinistic Pig(MCP). He might not be as regressive but he is an hypocrite and sexist. He asks his sister not to wear jeans, asks Zoya to keep her eyes fixed on the ground and not stare at guys or else she deserves to be eve teased. He also had a problem with Zoya's traditional attire, which according to him again garners attention and will lead to attention. His train of thought might lead to conclusion that wearing western clothes is an invitation to Rape. This is the regressive thought which is rampant in India and has also been used by police to give an excuse for rape.

Yes Najma is right about the dress attire in the lounge and everything and like I already said before that I didn't like the fact either that Asad didn't allow her to wear jeans, but I still wouldn't call him a hypocrite. It's true that he does come across as being one to other people, but you really have to put yourself in his boots, to understand his thinking. A woman has every right to choose what she wants to wear, but if she is sensible enough, then she will also understand and dress according to the kind of society she is living in. Asad is just being protective of her and mainly cos of their culture and society. And you mentioned, how he should find a suitable workplace for his tehzeeb, I don't see anything wrong with his dress attire to office, that he should be worried about his tehzeeb. He would have been more of a hypocrite, if he went out freaking shirtless, or with a vest on or wearing shorts or sth 😆 He's dressed in a proper manner and he looks decent, so tehzeeb isn't even concerned here.

@Bold that's exactly what I said 🤔

And about Asad's clothing lmfao I think it's completely appropriate and he's dressed modestly too. He can't be blamed for girls gawking at him, I think that's something that just can't be helped 😳😆

Lets just agree to disagree. I see it in a certain way and I am adamant about my position.

Ahhh civilization...its amazing how we all can agree to disagree and still respect each other's beliefs and opinions. I wish Asad would do that when its comes to Zoya but he has already lectured and chastised her once...so I doubt that will happen.
P.S. (the bold part) you said its normal for him to wear a business suit...I tweaked it a bit. 😉
P.P.S. It is Asad's fault because he is wearing such tight fighted clothing that accents his every muscle (hard as rock muscle 😉)...One that outlines his figure 😆 🤣

@ BOLD if you were going to come up with another point, I was gonna say the ssame thing 😆 Some things should just be left like that :)

Yess fortunately or unfortunately this whole civilization thing plays a huge part in our lives and you have to think about it before making some decisions. But yes I hope too that Asad learns to respect Zoya's beliefs and opinions, which I'm sure he will eventually. I think we will be seeing that change in him gradually and I'm looking forward to that :)

Oh okay no problem 😆 and about the muscles lmfao 🤣 He will have to stop going gym for that 😲 and I don't think we phangurlls would want that to happen 😳
