Recap -

He determined, that once Jodha is awake, he would confront MA in front of her and all others.. He was still in a trance, so as to why his own Badi Ammi did this to him and his wife..!!

He would have gone all private to clear out things with MA..But she deserved the same public humiliation, which Jodha had to suffer..but before he could do so, Jodha had stopped him..

"Ya Allah! Why is she so pure and self-less.." He thought..

He called for Moti and other maids to take care of Jodha.. He asked them to give her medcines on time..She should be taken care of properly..All the maids bowed their heads in agreement..

He left the room..all lost in her thoughts!

Part 9 -

Jalal came out of Jodha's room..clenching his fists in ablazing anger and his eyes burning red hot..It was so evident that he was frowing in anger and yet he was anyhow controlling it..and was quiet..It looked as if he was waiting for someone's approval before he could burst out the volcano of his anger..

Maham Anga who was watching him from a distance, saw him coming out of Jodha's room and was delighted to her core seeing him all fuming.. She was so happy that her one wicked plan had given her so much success and happiness.. Finally She had won in not only separating Jalal and Jodha..but also was successful in insulting Jodha to extremes...
What she was more happy for was that, she didnt have to do much to put fire between Jodha and Jalal..It was all because of Jalal's blind-trust on her and his illiteracy that had helped her to carry out her evil plans easily..

Jalal was heading towards his chamber with a faster pace as he was angry beyond the heights.. His temper was getting shorter would be less to say..He wanted to spend some time alone..
But Maham did not want to lose this opportunity..She quickly reached to him and called out - Jalal.. Rukiye !

Jalal froze. Time stoodstill. He felt a voice pinching him from behind..he felt something stabbed him..
His mind which was running from the thoughts of all deeds of the past few days and who was the actual culprit behind this, suddenly heard that voice, which he didnt want to hear at any cost.

He stopped. He turned back and looked at her.. He looked at the person standing in front of him with red boiling eyes.. There she was..His so called "badi ammi"..

Maham was even more delighted.. She knew his anger was at peak and therefore her plan would be more successful.

Maham quickly changed her expressions to those of worry and concern. She started shedding crocodile tears.. Jalal was getting impatient and angrier by each passing second but he kept quiet..

As she stood in front of him, He recalled how he was broken in front of her when he had narrated to her the whole rejection incident.. How shattered he was in front of her..
And how she had further instigated him against Jodha..How cleverly she had misguided him even when she knew the truth..
He just continued to look at her with amazement and nil expressions.. with red teary eyes..
He couldnt say anything to her but his fists clenched tighter and tighter..

Maham started with a teary voice - Jalal.. Hum jaante hain aaj phir Jodha Begum ne aapka apmaan kiya hoga.Isliye aap itne gusse mei ho.. Kya wo raat kafi nahi thi aapki beizaati ki jo Vo har waqt koi na koi mauka
dhundti rehti hain aapki ruswaayi(insult) karneka.. (She shed even more tears).. Hum thak chuke hain Jalal ! Hum aapko is tarah tadapta hua aur pareshan nahi dekh sakte..
Samajhti kya hain Jodha begum apne aapko..(She knowingly brought up the topic of that night again)..Pehle khud aapko apne hojre mei bulaya aur phir aapko beizzat kiya..Aur ab jab bhi mauka
milta hai, aapki tauheen (insult) karti hain..(She looked at his boiling anger and threw out her trump card).. Agar Vo aapki zindagi mei na hoti to hum aaj aapko is tarah buri haalat mei nahi dekhte..

Jalal was losing it.. He couldn't tolerate it anymore..He looked at her with red frowning eyes.. He could not believe it was his Badi Ammi whom he was witnessing live..
Ya Allah ! She does it with so much mastery.. Is it only the first time she's fooling me and making fun of me or has she been doing this all her life.. He just could not gulp it down..
Even the slightest of his doubts that may be His Badi ammi would be innocent were gone.. His legs were hardly supporting him..
The woman whom he had trusted more than anybody, had deceived him so brutally.. But he could not run away from the bitter reality..
He just continued to look at her..

Maham's heart was racing fast..She couldn't believe she was so successful..She was so happy that her plan was working so efficiently.. But she controlled her self..She would get enough time
to celebrate her success..but now, she had to act more sensibly..She had to separate them forever and ever..

Maham continued - Jalal hum maante hain ki vo aapki Begum hain..lekin Allah kasam Jalal.. Unhone aapko jitna dukh pahuchaya haina..uske liye hum unhe kabhi muaf nahi karenge..
Aur unhone jo aapke saath us raat kiya, uske liye to Khuda bhi unhe kabhi muaf nahi karega.. (Jalal clenched his fist the tightest he could..)
Agar vo aapki Begum nahi hoti, to aapko itna dukh pahuchane ka hum Jo...( before she could complete her sentence.. Jalal stopped her)..

Jalal - Bass!! Ek aur lavz nahi.. (He raised his finger at her face..directly pointing towards her.. and said with gritting teeth) Ek aur lavz nahi..

Maham was SHOCKED ! Did Jalal actually stop her? Shivers rolled down her body. She felt numbed for Jalal had never ever talked to her in this way..
Suddenly Maham realised that, Jalal was too much angry on Jodha and that is why, was getting angry on her too..

Jalal without any word, turned from her and started to walk back to his chamber..A lone tear trickled down his eyes.. He was still in so much shock that he was unable to comprehend what his Badi- Ammi actually was..He had never seen a false person like her..

Jalal lost it finally.. He turned back and held her hand very tightly which she had put on his shoulder..

He roared now - Humnein kaha na..Jodha Begum ka naam mat lijiye apni za (he stopped himself..Why at all did he need to speak to this woman)...

Before Maham could say anything, Jalal jerked off her hand with great force, and left from there..

Maham was shocked and happy at the same time..Though she could not gulp down Jalal's behaviour towards her, but atleast he didn't want to hear Begum Jodha's name..
"I have brought the misunderstanding between Jodha and Jalal to such a level, that it seems,Jalal would soon kick out Jodha from his life and palace " smirked Maham..

But Maham still recalled how Jalal had raised finger towards her.. She decided to find out why Jalal was so much angry that he behaved with her, his badi-ammi, like this...

And she could find answers to all her questions from only one person..And She headed towards her room.. She knew She could easily frighten and threaten her now, for that lady held no more
importance in her Husband's life..

She took a deep breath and started walking towards Jodha's room.. and soon reached to the gate of her chamber.. As she was about to enter, guards stopped her..

Maham was flabbergasted..She threw angry glares at the guards and said - Do you know who I am?

Guards kept quiet but stern..They said with much respect - Jee Wazir e Aliya! We know! But Its Shahenshah's orders that no one is allowed to meet Begum Jodha!

What ! Did she hear what the guards said! Suddenly Maham backed off.. Her all anger flew away..

" Ya Allah.. Kya baat hai..To Jalal ne Begum Jodha ko nazar-band kar diya hai.." She raised her eye-brows in great excitement... She quickly went away from there and came to her own room..

* Jalal's chamber*

Jalal dropped on ground..He was in such a flood of emotions that he felt himself all trapped and drowning in that flood.. His own Badi-Ammi had deceived his trust..
He had believed her on every word she said.. He had hurt his innocent wife to extremes..he had insulted her..
Why was he still living after committing all such blunders?
Had he not seeked for an apology from Jodha begum this morning and cleared out their differences, he would have surely died of the suffocation he was going through..

But crying and repenting on one's deeds is not the solution..Rather, He should focus more on punishing the culprits..
Suddenly he got up from the ground.. he wiped off his tears..and decided to give justice to Jodha as soon as possible..He couldn't see her in any more pain..

He asked one of the guards to call everyone for the Diwaan-e-Khaas after one hour..He said - Each and every important resident of the Palace should be present in the court !
He said it with such determination and anger, that the guard himself trembled out of fear..

*Maham's Room*

Maham was pacing up and down in excitement.. She called Resham and ordered her to find out by any means, about what had happened between Jodha and Jalal that Jalal had restricted everyone from meeting Begum Jodha..

She was so happy today.. Resham was happy too.. She said - Jee huzoor..Abhi pata lagakar aate hain..

As Resham was about to leave, A guard came in and saluted Maham..

Guard - Aadab Wazir-e-Aliya! Shahenshah has called for Diwaan-e-Khaas in an hour..Everyone's presence is mandatory! And he left after giving the message..

Maham and Resham giggled !

Maham out of over confidence - Rehne do Resham..Rehne do..Koi zarurat nahi hai pata lagane ki kya wajah hai Jodha Begum ko nazar-band rakhne ki.. Ek ghante baad sab pata chal hi jayega..
Lagta hai aaj Jodha begum ka aakhiri din hai is mahal mei..hahaha..

Resham smiled as Maham laughed hysterically..

** Jodha's room**

As half an hour passed, She was awake from her sleep.. She felt much better after taking some rest.. But something was missing..She opened her eyes and didn't find him near her..

Her face shook with sadness... The only thing she constanlty remembered in her dream and now in reality, was their unexpected comforting hug..which was the best moment of her life, though
she didn't know why..She remembered how sorry he was for his each and every action..and more than that, how helpless he looked because of his own weaknesses.. She was so worried for him..
She couldn't see him losing.. She wanted to know about his whereabouts as soon as possible..

She got up and sat on bed.. Moti, Reva and all her maids were sitting near her with various varieties of Rajput food plates in their hands...

Jodha was surprised to see so many kinds of food in front of her..

Moti (happily) - uth gayin aap Jodha..bataiye ab kaisa mehsoos ho raha hai?

Jodha (with a plain tone) - Hum thik hai Moti..lekin ye sab kya hai..itne prakar ke vyanjan kyon(WHy so many varities of food)?

Moti - Jodha ! ye Shahenshah ne aapke liye bhij waye hain..khaas aapke liye !

Jodha was shocked.. She couldn't believe this! A faint smile crept on her lips.. But her eyes were searching for him..
Suddenly she remembered how impatient and angry he was, to punish the culprit..

She asked anxiously - par Shahenshah hain kahan moti?

Moti teasingly - Kyon Jodha.

Jodha without giving any heed to Moti's words, got up from the bed, and started to walk towards the gate of her room.. She wanted to go to him as soon as possible..
As in her quick walk she reached to the door, She collided with him..and fumbled back..

He quickly held her wrist before she could fell back.. Jodha was shocked and a little blush came over her cheek..
"How come this man always reach to me before I can go to him? " She thought !

Jalal let go of her hand and asked all the daasis to go out of the room.. Looking into her eyes, he said - Taqliya..to all baandhis..

Jodha could not meet his eyes with his..

As all the maids left the room, He closed the door and asked her politely to sit on the bed..
Jodha was relieved to see him all calm.. Without any word, She sat on bed..

Jalal too sat on bed and started serving food in one plate only.. Before Jodha could say anything,

Jalal - Jodha begum, do you remember that the last time we had food together, we ate in one plate!

Jodha got her answer before she could ask him.. He always left her speechless in such circumstances..Jalal smirked at his wife..

Jodha said - But Shahenshah! Last time was different from this time..
Jalal knew what she meant and it ached in his chest..She was so deeply hurt..But Jalal wanted to regain back the old wife..

Jalal calmly - How are you feeling Jodha? Are you fine?

Jodha's face was sad now.. She said in a gloomy tone - Humari chodiye Shahenshah..aap bataiye.. Aakhir Aap apna "zaroori" kaam khatam karke aa hi gaye.. Par itni jaldi aane ki kya
aavshyakta thi.. thoda aur waqt diya hota na apne khaas logo ko..

Jalal did not even get what she was referring to..He could only say with a serious tone - Nahi Jodha Begum ! Zaruri kaam to abhi baaki hai..Aur humnein bahut waqt de liya.. ab sirf kuch der aur..
Aur hum insaaf karke hi rahenge..

Jodha could easily comprehend was he was saying..She decided to not tease him with "that bandhi's name"anymore..

Jodha said with a happy tone - Shahenshah ab hum thik hai.. aap pareshan mat hoiye..

Jalal smiled and served the food and both of them had the meal together..in one plate..

As they ate together, they stole glances at each other.. Jodha would turn away her eyes quickly, whenever he gazed at her..

After they finished their meal, Jalal asked Jodha to take rest for five minutes and then get ready for Diwaan-e-Khaas..

Jodha was surprised..She wanted to know that Why DEK was called all of a sudden..

Jalal could easily read her questioning eyes and said - Jodha Begum..aap bas taiyyar ho jaiye..Hum dono thodi der mei Diwaan-e-Khaas ke liye nikalenge..

Jodha could somewhere guess the reason.. She was scared again.. She protested - Iski koi zarurat nahi hai Shahenshah.. Hum nahi jayenge..

Jalal with stern tone - Jodha Begum aap abhi taiyar ho rahi hain aur humare saath chalengi..Hum kuch aur sun na nahi chahte..

Jodha knew he was adamant and that he would not give up.. She left everything on Kanha..and got up to get ready for DEK..

Precap - Same..Jalal confronts MA in front of all..
