Television actor Fahmaan Khan has carved a niche for himself with his powerful performances and strong screen presence. Over the years, he has won audiences over with his work across television and digital platforms, earning praise for his versatility and dedication to his craft.
Now, as his short film Goonj releases today, Fahmaan took to Instagram to share an emotional note about a milestone that left him deeply moved. Posting a picture of himself standing beside a roadside hoarding featuring the film's poster, the actor revealed that this was the first time he had ever seen himself on a hoarding.
Reflecting on his journey, Fahmaan wrote that he never chased conventional dreams and was always driven by a simple desire to perform. He shared, "Looking back at the journey I’ve lived through, I never had dreams that most people do. All I wanted was to perform. Give everything I have to my craft and the love I have for it is truly sacred. But within every performer lies a child who dreams, dreams for his/her work to reach as many people as possible. Every little step I take towards that is a sense of contentment."
The actor further admitted that despite never seeing himself on a hoarding before, he never felt that anything was missing from his life. However, spotting the massive poster of Goonj stirred unexpected emotions. "Aaj Tak itne salon Mai kabhi apna hoarding nahi dekha Maine. And honestly there wasn’t anything missing from my life as such. But when I drove down this road before the hoarding came I felt my heart rate rising. Goonj has given me more than anyone can ever imagine. It gave me a perspective of my life itself. I probably cannot explain in words or justify what this film has done to me personally. This was the icing on the cake."
