Jodha turned away from him like a fully possessive angry wife..
Jalal knew he had hurt Jodha so much because of that baandhi..And he also knew that he had gone over the limits..just to make Jodha jealous..But now, he could
clearly see the pain in her voice..It was not all jealousy..It was something called possessiveness and much more ... But he was shocked to listen to her last words..
He understood what she was going to say..He himself had seen Benazir near Jodha.. EVerything was clear to him..So, Benazir was responsible for Jodha's condition..
His anger reached to unimaginable heights..How dare a Baandhi hurt his wife...his begum..
Today he had to deal with these two culprits!!
He turned to Jodha and said with a stern tone - Aap aaram kijiye..Hum zara kuch logo ka hisaab karke aate hain..(and he turned to move out of the room)..
Jodha understood what he meant..And She was really afraid of what he might do..
Part 8 -
All the events of Jalal coming to her room that night, her rejection, Jalal insulting her, Jalal not listening to her, Jalal getting closer to Benazir and now this revealation of his illiteracy and that the letter was falsely read by
Maham Anga..revolved in front of Jodha's eyes.. She was badly hurt emotionally but She could understand his pain as well.. Now she was afraid what Jalal might do to the culprits..
Her head felt heavy by thinking of all those events..
As Jalal was ready to leave the room, Jodha called him from back..in a very low and weak tone - Shahenshah rukiye..
Jalal turned back saw a teary eyed Jodha who was a little dizzy.. He was shocked and worried.. He reached to her and supported her..
Jalal - Jodha Begum..Aap thik to haina.. Abhi to aap thik thi..
Jalal made her lie down on bed gently and carefully..
Jalal - Ye kya haalat bana li hai aapne Jodha Begum.. (He looked so worried)..Achanak kya hua aapko?
Jodha in a weak tone - Shahenshah.. Hum thik hain..Bas thodi kamzori hai..(She paused for a second)..
Hum jaante hain ke hum dono ko bahut dukh pahucha hai lekin...Kripya aap is tarah gusse mein koi galat faisla mat kijiyega..
Aapke gusse se kya nateeja hota hai ye hum bhali bhaanti jaante hain..(her tone was sad and painful)..
Hum nahi jaante ki aapki Badi-Ammi ne aisa kyon kiya..Lekin aapko apni galti ka ehsaas hai aur aapko sachai pata chali..yahi humare liye kafi hai..
Hum in sab chizo se thak chuke hain.. Ab hum nahi chahte ki aur kuch jhagde ya ladai ho.. Aur vaise bhi, humare karan apni Badi Ammi ko pareshan mat kijiye..Kyonki vo to aapke sabse azeez haina..
By each word she spoke, her voice went lower and slower..Sleep was taking over her..
Jalal was blown and shocked.. No doubt, they both had cleared their Misunderstandings some moments before, but his insults and his misdeeds had left a deep impact on jodha..
A pure soul was so much triggered in the past few days by him..his head shook in despair and anger..
Jalal sat beside her and just looked at her with painful eyes.. He couldn't say anything..He was speechless..No doubt, he had gone mad after the rejection..But why the hell didnt he cross-check
the letter..Why did he go all barging at her at everytime..He clenched his fists going angry at himself..His pain was nothing in front of what he had given to her.. She had been innocent all the while..
She had tried to justify herself so many times..but He was the one who made her feel rejected by giving importance to Benazir..
Jalal with a choked voice (self thought) - Humein muaf kar dijiye Jodha Begum.. Hum jaante hain ki humnein aapko be-intehan dukh pahuchaya hai..Hum kisi ke bhi saamne sir nahi jhukate hain
siway allah ke..lekin aaj hum aapse sir jhukakar muafi mangte hain.. He was lost in his repent..
Jodha was already weak and she dozed off as he gazed at her.. She murmured in her semi-sleep - Kripya kisi ko saza mat dijiyega..Humein kisi se shikwa nahi hai..
Jalal felt so remorseful..This was a different Jodha he was witnessing..He had never seen a weak Jodha..He had always seen a fierceful Rajput wife in her..She would never tolerate injustice..
He felt so ashamed of himself..He had compelled her to be like this..He had become the reason for this change in her..he could feel that she was losing her self-esteem and self-respect slowly..
Even after knowing that his Badi-Ammi was responsible for such a big misunderstanding, She didnt bother much..So easily she said - Rehne dijiye Shahenshah..
Her words and her conditions was eating him up..How could he hurt her so much..What has he done to this innocent woman?
He promised to himself that he would never hurt her again..She had always been right.. He decided to respect her decision of not confronting the two culprits.. unless she was awake and in her full senses..
He moved his hand towards her forehead..but as it reached towards forehead..he backed off his hand..he didnt have the right to disrespect her and hurt her more..
He covered Jodha with a warm blanket and sat beside her..smiling at his Begum..
After all these days, He was finally at peace..he himself had been so restless..And to add to his happiness, he was witnessing a peacefully sleeping Jodha..
He determined, that once Jodha is awake, he would confront MA in front of her and all others.. He was still in a trance, so as to why his own Badi Ammi did this to him and his wife..!!
He would have gone all private to clear out things with MA..But she deserved the same public humiliation, which Jodha had to suffer..but before he could do so, Jodha had stopped him..
"Ya Allah! Why is she so pure and self-less.." He thought..He decided that He'll leave no opportunity to make her as she was before..He would give her back her respect..
As for now, She needed care and warmth..He called for Moti and other maids to take care of Jodha.. He asked them to give her medicines on time..She should be taken care of properly..All the maids bowed their heads in agreement..
He left the room..all lost in her thoughts!
Next chap - Jalal confronts MA in front of all..😡😳
Sorry for late and short chappy!😉 I hope I am going ok with the storyline..I have other plans for Benzir..I wont reveal her soon! lol.😆😉
