OMG you brought back some lovvvely Mangalpur memories. That Zoyaaa is still fresh in my mind. While I do think Karan did a fantassstic job as Asad, I'll reserve my comments abt Raqesh. I went out for dinner last nite so missed his entry 😭. But I lovvved the promo and read abt it in the WU. The guy surely deserves a chance. Actors leave shows all the time. What is the fault of the actors replacing them?

Raqesh looks the part and has made a dhamakedaar entry. I'm sure he knows what he has got himself into and will try to give his 200%. Besides he looks good with Surbhi. Comparisons are bound to happen. I hope he shines through them all and I wish him all the best for his sake and for ours too 😃

Here's hoping we get some mind blowing Asya scenes in future!!!

Anu, thank you 😊
Raqesh will relive Asad and we will have our Asya back which was missing for a long even when Karan was there. Hope Gul and team exploits this Asya to the fullest unlike the previous one.

Comparing the ZOYAA...by Asad1 and 2..
Will not be too practical at this juncture...
monosyllabic Zoyaa...by Asad 2..
He will need time as you mentioned
to get under the skin of asad..
To feel the passion , pain , love ,
Hatred towards the SM lot..
Given time..he will be able to crave a place for himself..
One year of Asad 1...in One sec...
Impossible...
How much ever he does his homework..
He will need time ..to get into the groove..
But guess he will be a fast learner..
And also the one with the dimple...

Totally in agreement with everything you said.
He has already been accepted as Asad by many, it's just about time people get over the prejudice.
And yeah, seems like Asya are bound be dimpled couple 😊
Sure, you can call me Bhavna, and I guess I can call you Rajni ?

Great post, very thought out and maturely written. There's no comparing as you say, one lived Asad from the getgo and the other has only just got ressurrected.

That intense, brooding hero turned lover who won millions of hearts had been missing for a bit now. And hopefully version 2.0 will bring us that again. It would be different, it has to be, because the original is always most, MOST special. Sequel just has to be unique and stellar. We have with us our new Asad. Let's hope he delivers!

Would definitely love to read more from you. I agree with most of all that has been said before me. Asad, WELCOME BACK.

There was difference in Zoyaaa, there was something missing in the Zoyaa we were used to but it was not at all bad, it was just different. It will take some time for viewers as well as actor to adapt.
Raqesh is promising and he deserves the fair chance as you said. And I want to see Raqesh's Asad not Karan's Asad which he will try to mimic because then the natural touch of his acting will be lost. So I hope Raqesh brings his style of Asad on screen as he had said in his interview.

Btw, I like your signature😊

Thanks for appreciating my signature.

Coming to Raquesh, as I always say, just because something is different it is not automatically considered bad. When I first ate Chinese food in China I found it strange but I got used to the taste in few days because the taste was not bad it's just I got used to American Chinese taste as I live in US. I want Raquesh to bring his own style to Asad as far as essense of character is well preserved.
