100% in agreement with you Ms. Bhavna.

For the right modulation of voice, an actor needs more than just the narration of the character and the story so far. Also we found the previous roars perfect coz we had nothing to compare it to. And as u explained Karan was living Asad role since the beginning and had a better feel for what was needed.

As an actor, Raqesh will adapt too. Just give him a chance to live and feel as Asad.

Bhavna, you are back with a bang!!! Great post :)

OMG you brought back some lovvvely Mangalpur memories. That Zoyaaa is still fresh in my mind. While I do think Karan did a fantassstic job as Asad, I'll reserve my comments abt Raqesh. I went out for dinner last nite so missed his entry 😭. But I lovvved the promo and read abt it in the WU. The guy surely deserves a chance. Actors leave shows all the time. What is the fault of the actors replacing them?

Raqesh looks the part and has made a dhamakedaar entry. I'm sure he knows what he has got himself into and will try to give his 200%. Besides he looks good with Surbhi. Comparisons are bound to happen. I hope he shines through them all and I wish him all the best for his sake and for ours too 😃

Here's hoping we get some mind blowing Asya scenes in future!!!

Comparing the ZOYAA...by Asad1 and 2..

Will not be too practical at this juncture...

monosyllabic Zoyaa...by Asad 2..

He will need time as you mentioned

to get under the skin of asad..

To feel the passion , pain , love ,

Hatred towards the SM lot..

Given time..he will be able to crave a place for himself..

One year of Asad 1...in One sec...

Impossible...

How much ever he does his homework..

He will need time ..to get into the groove..

But guess he will be a fast learner..

And also the one with the dimple...

Lets face the truth, last two times Asad roared like lion when he came to SM, (first after ZoYaan and then when Zoya was insulted) but what happen to that sher afterwards? Karan made Asad and now in his absence Raqesh will relive him. QH need Asad more than anything..

I will give Raqesh unbiased fair chance, he is not Karan but he is good actor and in very good hands. Lot of people had apprehensions on Mohit and I was skeptical, but he is working hard and it shows. RV is aware of the risks here and is here to prove himself..

Even I was missing Asad in action for long, was missing mitwa and Asya, so I was more than happy to see Asad back on the screen with such a damakedaar entry.
I guess for most if the viewers who are not internet audience, RV as Asad won't make difference because Asad was missing on screen for long, so the connect with the character will be a kind of lost and when Assd enters again after a long gap with the powerful entry little is left to compare.

And this black dp 😕 somehow I am still not able to change it and now I have accepted that I will be a black sheep on IF.
Raquesh is handsome and a good actor too, he is good in romantic scenes too, so you can expect your hot Asya scenes to be materialized, though I am not sure of his contract clauses.

hey tm n we meet again 😆 ok now if i can say something then Mr Khan 1 was intense yet calm wen the show started it was all on ksg bcoz people have seen his work n nobody knew Surbhi so well then the chemistry between Asad & Zoya became mindblowing as one was serious another one was full of life now that Mr Khan 1 is out it will be hard for Mr Khan 2 to do that bcoz the bar has been raised so everything depends on Surbhi now i wish them all the best but yup they can never create the chem wat ksg n surbhi did

An excellent post.

It takes time for any actor to understand the nuances of a character and overarching impact on the scene, for his first day he did quite well. Did I notice difference in Zoyaaa utterance? Yes, I did. Is it earth shattering? No, it is just his day one and he deserves a little time and fair chance to come up the curve.
