ZOYAAA!!! of Mr. Khan-1 and 2.

Finally we had the much awaited entry of AAK-2 and it was impressive, direction, execution and those angry piercing eyes of provoked Mr. Khan were all perfect. But, but but the roaring lion's ZOYAAA didn't sound like Asad for me. Karan's deep voice filled with passion was missing! But Zoya's soft yet seductive Mr.Khan brought back the Asya feels.
What crossed my mind is that, Karan felt Asad's feelings for Zoya for two months before the beautiful mangalpur track happened where we got our first ZOYAAA dahad, he felt Asad's love at first sight for Zoya, he felt Asad's gradual understanding of Zoya post Akram fiasco, he got the chance to live and feel Asad from the beginning and for the amazing actor he is he emoted Asad wonderfully onscreen. But that's not the case for Raquesh, he hasn't felt Asad, he hasn't felt Asad's passion for Zoya and on the first day of shoot he got play this intense scene. I guess gradually as he understands his character better we will get to see that passion filled pukaar for Zoya.
This is purely my opinion and I don't intend to defend or offend any actor because I may not be a die-hard KSG fan but I have always maintained that he is the best actor on television right now.
Raquesh is a very good replacement and he will definitely do justice to his role, I don't expect him to be like Karan, because every actor has their own style, way of emoting and voice.
Karan will always be remembered as Asad, and Raquesh is already been accepted as Asad by me atleast.

For me, K didn't even cross my mind during the episode. It's only after when people began to notice the difference in the "Zoyaaa" that I did. But even then, I'll be honest it didn't bother me. Raqesh looks the part and as long as he moves the story...he could be the worst actor ever and I will still cheer him on. That being said - Gul cast him and she hasn't cast badly ever...so he will be good. For me, Raqesh is Asad. :-)

Except for that particular 'Zoyaa', I didn't feel him any less than the previous Asad and the thought of comparison didn't even cross my mind either. Raquesh will be defo good, he emotes well, I have seen him earlier. For a good actor to breath life into a character and live the character, the understanding and feeling of the character is very important, here the story has already crossed more than a year and it should take him some time to get into the past of the character.
And yeah casting is something Gul never goes wrong.

Yes, considering that has entry had to be done within a short span of time - there are parts of Asad he isn't going to know- who knows maybe Monday the anger and the passion will reflect through his dialogue delivery.

I haven't really seen him actor - caught a few episodes of Honge Judaa and he was good there from what I can remember..

I too have watched him in hongey naa juda hum in few episodes and have watched his few movies, except for the initial movies he has been good in all.
Will he be there on Monday's episode?
