Ashwin and Anjali sit in front of Amman, and Ashwin tells Anjali that her husband is the one, who is lucky to have her as wife.

Ajay asks his mother, why she want a rich girl as her daugther-in-law. Manorama tells him that she is an example of why poor girl should not get married into this house. She says that even Patti wants a rich girl. Ajay says but anyone don't bother to ask him what he wants.

Sruthi wakes up in shock, and wonders why she keeps getting nightmares about Ashwin. Sruthi looks at the clock and realises that she has slept over and needs to get ready for office. Priya and Madhumathi look at Sruthi weirdly and asks her why she is rushing. Priya then asks her whether she has forgot that she has quitted the job. Sruthi realised that. Madhumathi tells Priya and Sruthi to get ready for varalakshmi poojai, where they have to keep a fast for their future husbands.

Ashwin looks at the company's calender pictures and stops at Sruthi's picture. He thinks back at photoshoot. Anjali comes and sees the picture of Sruthi and says that she is looking pretty and if Patti sees that he was looking at some girl picture, she will get happy and will say that at least he can leave Lavanya and look at some other girls. Anjali tells him that she is going to temple to visit a "wishing-tree" with Manorama and Ajay.

Sruthi does not like fasting, as she cannot live without eating. Therefore Madhumathi asks Shyam to keep an eye on Sruthi and Priya and takes his phone. Madhumathi tells him that he has to go with them to the temple. Shyam gets tensed. Sruthi was about to drink some water, but Madhumathi hits her and tells not to even drink.

Anjali tries to call her husband, but is unhappy as he is not taking the phone. She is worried about Lavanya. She calls Lavanya and asks her to keep a fast. Lavanya is worried but agrees.

Shyam opens the door and gets a parcel. Madhumathi asks him what it is in the parcel. But he just says that it some papers. Shyam tells her that he has to leave later today andw wants to talk about it. Madhumathi tells him that they can talk about it later and asks the girls to help her in the kitchen. Shyam opens the parcal/bag and it's a saree.

Lavanya talks to herself in her room, and is worried about fasting. She has to impress Patti by wearing a saree.

Manorama asks Anjali whether her husband will be there to break her fast. Anjali says he will be there as he has never dissapointed her the last 3 years. Ashwin comes and tells them that he will join them.

Madhumathi tells Sruthi and Priya that they have to go to a specific temple to break the fast. Meanwhile Shyam gets into the room, where Madhumathi has hidden his phone, which keeps ringing and gets it. Sruthi talks to Amman and says that everything is fine except not eating. Madhumathi sees Shyam coming out of the room, Shyam says that her closet was open, and he was just closing it. Shyam gets out of the house and calls "raniamma". He tells her that he will be there but a bit late.

Madhumathi is in the hall room sleeping, Shyam tries to go somewhere, but Madhumathi hears him opens the door, and asks him where he is going. She asks him what is in the bagshe is carrying. Shyam says it is a present. Madhumathi gets curious and asks him for whom. Sruthi and Priya come home, and Madhumathi asks Sruthi whether she went to the temple to play holi, looking at her with all the colours. Sruthi tells her it's all Ashwin's fault. She says that he was there along with Anjali and Ajay. Sruthi says that she didn't know that Ajay is Ashwin's cousin. They are all nice expect Ashwin, she says.

Lavanya is trying to eat chips, and says that nobody will get to know this. She is about to eat when she spills the chips as the phone is ringing. It's Anjali. Lavanya blabbering in the phone that she didn't eat anything and realises it's Anjali. Anjali says she called her because she wants Lavanya to wear saree for the poojai. Lavanya says she also had plans to do it, to prove that Ashwin's and her love it's true love.

Sruthi and Ashwin tries to remove the colour on themself, and thinks about eachother. Ashwin wonders why he is thinking of her, when she didn't say a word, and Sruthi is worring about the same.
Ashwin comes in to the hall, and Anjali asks him whether he could not remove the colours yet. Patti says that's why you have to be careful, once you get colour on yourself, you cannot get rid of it so easily. Manorama tells Patti, that is sounds like a washing powder ad.
The servant comes and gives juice to Manorama, and Manorama says I told you to give the juice in my room. Anjali and Patti look at her. Anjali calms Patti and says that you are allowed to drink in this fast. Patti asks whether Lavanya is holding the fast. Anjali says yes, she has not even drank anything. Patti says that she does not believe that she thought this by herself but Anjali must had called her and told her to do so. Manorama says that you should not jugde her like that. Patti says just because she is holding fast, does not mean she will accept her as their daugther-in-law.

Madhumathi gives Sruthi and Priya two sarees. Sruthi hugs Madhumathi and Madhumathi pushes her away as Sruthi was holding her to tight. Shyam comes and asks Sruthi whether she got all the colour removed. Sruthi replies yes, thanks to Anjali. Sruthi tells Priya that they have to thank Anjali later today when they meet her. Shyam asks them whether they are going to the same temple as Anjali. Sruthi says yes. Shyam is worried and tells them to go to another temple, as there will be less crowd there. Madhumathi says that's a good idea. Shyam gets happy.

Patti presents a jewellery to Manorama, and she gets happy. She also gives a gift to Anjali, and tells her that this is from your family side and soon you will get a gift from your husband. Ashwin is also there, and sees that Anjali looks at the door hoping to see her husband soon.

Sruthi and Priya have got ready and Madhumathi looks at them and is stunned to see them so beautiful. She says may all the evil eyes be away from them and says may God bless them, and puts dristi on them.

Anjali receives a parcel, which is the gift from her husband. Manorama sees this and is happy for her. Manorama asks her to get ready as the mehendi has to be done soon. Anjali gets ready and is happy as she will soon see her husband.

Shyam is stunned to see Sruthi and gets mesmorized. Shyam tells them that he cannot drop Sruthi and Priya, since he has some work. Madhumathi says then how are the girls going to reach the temple, which is fare away from their house. Sruthi says that they will manage, and asks Shyam whether the gift in the bag is from "raniamma", he smiles and says no. He looks at Sruthi and thinks, that he has to come back for Sruthi soon as possible, what wonders what he is going to say to "raniamma".

Sruthi comes to the temple, and Ashwin sees her. Sruthi is fainting and she slips her plate.

Sruthi does aathi and looks at Anjali, but she signs her to give it to Ashwin. He comes besides her and they have an eyelook. He touches her hands when he takes the plate from her hand. She looks at him surprised and takes her hands off. He then does the aathi and gives it to Lavanya and stands besides Sruthi and looks at her.
Anjali looks behind to see whether her husband has arrived with a sad face, and he has not. Ashwin comes and touches Anjali's shoulder to let her know that she should not worry. Sruthi and Payal break their fast, and Manorama's husband feeds Manorama and breaks her fast. Anjali looks at them happily and sadly at the same time as her husband is not there.
Lavanya comes to Ashwin and asks him to break the fast. He does that, and she asks him whether he is happy. Ashwin says that she knows that he does not like and believe in these rituals. Lavanya gives him and cheek kiss, and Sruthi sees this, and gets a little bit tensed. Ashwin looks at Sruthi. Sruthi is trying to turn the lamp but it is not working for her. Lavanya leaves and gives Sruthi a disgusting look.

Sruthi tells Anjali that they are going to leave now. Anjali asks them whether they did complete the fast successfully. She replies yes. Sruthi asks her whether she has completed the fast. Anjali says not yet, as her husband has not arrived yet. Anjali says that if they stay for little longer, then they will get to meet him. Sruthi says that Madhumathi attai must be waiting and it's already late. Anjali agrees and Sruthi and Priya leave. Sruthi and Ashwin have an eyelook before she leaves.

Anjali is devastated as her husband is not here yet. Manorama and Ashwin ask her to eat a little bit. Anjali says no, she will continue to do poojai until he comes, and goes back and does poojai with a devastated look.
A car is stopped in front of the temple, and sees Sruthi and Priya leaving the temple. A man opens the car door and steps into the temple while Anjali does the poojai. Anjali stops the poojai and smiles and turns around to see her husband. Ashwin and the entire family look back, they show a man standing. Anjali walks happily towards him, and tells him that she knew that he will come. The man says I told you that I will come. Anjali hugs her and it turns out to be non other than SHYAM😲. He hugs her back. Ashwin and the family are happy to see Shyam.

Anjali sees Shyam is hurt and walks with a stock and Ashwin gets worried to and asks him to sit. Shyam tells him not to worry and will tell everything when they come home, but first he has to break Anjali's fast. Everyone gets happy. Anjali gets emotional, and Shyam asks her never to cry and wipes her tears away.

Sruthi and Priya sit in the auto, and Sruthi remembers that she forgot her plate and goes back to the temple again. On the other hand Shyam is breaking her fast in front of everyone at the temple. Ashwin is happy for her sister and Shyam.
Sruthi runs into the temple and it's schocked.

Precap:
Anjali, Ashwin and Shyam is shown at Shantivan. Shyam streches his hand out to Anjali, and she puts her hand in his, and they have an eyelook and smiling. Ashwin voiceover says that he will do everything for Anjali as he only wants her to be happy. He can never she her crying and being sad.

Anjali and Shyam sit at their bedroom, and Anjali complains about Shyam coming late to break her fast at the temple. Shyam gifts her a saree. Shyam gets a phone call from Sruthi.

Sruthi tries to call Shyam, but he disconnected the phone as he was with Anjali. Anjali asks him, who it was, but he said nobody and smiles.
Sruthi wonders why Shyam does not take the phone. Priya says he must be busy. Priya asks Sruthi about Ajay, she tells her that he is very nice person, and he was the one who dropped her when it was raining and gave her the dupatta. Priya is surprised to hear that. Sruthi tells her that everyone is nice people expect Ashwin. Priya asks who the girl, who was wearing white saree was. Sruthi tells her it's Lavanya, who always calls her naadupuram. Priya says she saw Ashwin break her fast and he was looking angry. Sruthi says that's how he always looks. Priya says that they have to go to the bed. Sruthi lays down and closses her eyes. She wakes up with a set thinking about Ashwin. Priya asks her what happend, and Sruthi replies she cannot sleep anymore since Ashwin is on her mind now.

Shyam comes into Patti's room and takes blessings. Anjali overhears their conversation about Patti being aware of Shyam's broken leg. Anjali interrupts them asks Patti why she had not tell her this. Shyam tells Anjali she would be worried, that's why he didn't tell her.

Madhumathi talks with Sruthi's father over the phone, and he asks them how the poojai was. She tells him, that they did break the fast successfully. But she also says that she wished Shyam was there, when they did break the fast. Sruthi's mother is wondering why Madhumathi is always talking about Shyam. Sruthi's father tells her, it may be because Madhumathi has something on his mind. She asks him, why he had not told Madhumathi about their financial condition. He says that they are so happy, and they should not spoil it now.

Madhumathi asks Sruthi whether she knows about when Shyam comes home. Sruthi says she tried to call him but he did not take the phone. Sruthi asks her in fun mood why she is so worried for him, is it because she misses him, Madhumathi pusses her away.
Madhumathi sees Sruthi making food in a volume of 20 positions. Madhumathi says just because you have not ate for a day, does not mean that you have to cook for so many people. Sruthi says it's for her, and Madhumathi gets shocked. Sruthi bumps into Madhumathi and the sindoor, which was on the table got dropped. Madhumathi gets angry and asks her why she is troubling her and why she is playing holi. Sruthi thinks about the accident with Ashwin.

Ashwin asks the servant whether the breakfast it's ready. The servant said that everyone got off from Shyam, since he is cooking for you all. Ashwin goes to the kitchen sees everyone happy and laughing. Ashwin smiles seeing them being so her sister so happy with Shyam. Shyam has cooked Jalebies from everyone, and Anjali asks him, when he learned to make jalebies. He says that somethings happens magically and smiles.

Priya comes to Sruthi and asks her whether she also felt that their father is hiding something from them. Sruthi says she also felt like that, when they spoke to him earlier today. Priya says that he might be worried as Sruthi is not working anymore, and therefore Madhumathi's struggling financially. Priya shows Sruthi that they don't have ingredients to make meals, and they don't have the money to buy it either. Madhumathi comes and asks them what they are worried about. She tells Sruthi, that how can you be worried, when you have made alot of puries for herself. Sruthi says that she is full and they all can eat puries for the afternoon. Madhumathi is schocked to hear this.

Everyone sits at the table and eats breakfast Ashwin drinks water and thinks about the scene, where he gave water to Sruthi at the temple. Anjali tells them that Shyam is going to buy a big house for her and asks Ashwin to come with them. Ashwin and everyone is worried, and Patti says that she does not want her to stay in the new house alone, when Shyam will be working outsite the city. Ashwin agrees and asks her to stay her. Shyam comes and gives Ashwin sugar-free jalebies, and says that he has made it specially for him. He then asks everyone, what they were talking about. Anjali says that Ashwin and does not like them to move out of the house. Ashwin asks Shyam to stay here. Shyam agress and says for him the place does not matter, as long as they stay with their dearest. Everyone is happy now. Anjali changes the topic and tells Patti that she met Sruthi and Priya at the temple. Shyam gets shocked and slips the plate with jalebis, everyone looks at him.
