Swayam is one of the best penned characters.A dynamic personality..The characters potential was recognized by the creatives and was beautifully molded earlier..But currently the character is being butchered to an extent that it has started losing its charm..Hope the cv's mend things before the damage is beyond repair and we get back the loverboy and intense swayam back.

I agree with what you're saying, but only with respect to the recent few episodes. I'm sorry but I have to disagree with the point that Swayam as a character has been restricted after the trial confession, because there have been many scenes where for me he has just grown. There has been no dearth of a variety of scenes until recently, be it romance or intensity or angst...I can count them out to in fact illustrate how much Shantanu has managed to pull off. One liners nahin hona is a thing I miss too, but for me that doesn't do away with everything else I've seen him do, whether it be in scenes like the confession, or in emotional dances like Maula Mere or intense scenes like the recent SwaRon break-up or even the classroom scene right after it where he tells Sharon that he'll give another relationship a chance if that's what it comes to. In fact, even aside from the SwaRon angle, the Aditya Khurana track, though miserable in itself, gave us a very good look at the calm intelligence that makes Swayam what he is.

What disappoints me is that through all of this jo ek cheez hamesha in place rahi hai, the loverboy that he is and always has been, in recent few episodes that has been lost for the first time. I'm sorry, but Swayam being rude to Sharon is okay up to a point. That point was past almost two months ago, for me. After that, him being needlessly mean to her is just uncharacteristic. And in consequence, the SwaRon storyline is also completely static, because Swayam is moving to the other extreme from having been the unconditional lover, and it is not making any sense, nor is it helping the love narrative stay in place and develop properly.

Agree with this... What ever happnd, Swayam's character never lost its lover boy image.. That is the basic essence of the character.!! recently i dont see that lover boy image anymore Swayam seems to have moved out...

Please get the old Swayam Shekhawat back...

They are ruining Swayam's character, there is no seriousness left while writing dialogues for him. The character has so much of potential to be delivered for various scenes, without ruining the basic characteristic of his character, all I can see these days is Swayam finding ways to hurt, taunt Sharon. This is not what I want to see.

Shantanu being one of hell of an actor can do wonders with exclusivity given to his character, these days we don't get to see Swayam's POV, or his inputs to a particular situation wherein he analyses it and finds solution to the problems without being ill-tempered. I'm missing this side of Swayam, along with the lover-boy. Why are the hampering his character and not giving chance to Shantanu to explore his talent?

There is no Swayam-side to a particular scene, he is shown helping out his BFF, doing everything for them, but what about his life, love and dance? Where is his passion? Why no track for his story? Is it so difficult? Or are they are underestimating Shantanu??

Right now swayam has been just one duty SOCIAL WORKER..
Its as if he has no life of his own and his love problems or life problems have no meaning at all ..
