When i started watching D3 swayam was just a cute boy, when i saw him for the first time i never imagined this character and actor have any stength to catch the people attention. But everything changed with time, i still say swayam was, is one of the most well written, well developed character which i ever saw on Indian Television. Swayam introduced as just a boy who is in love with diva of the college from the past 5 years but with each passing day creatives started introducing new new faces of this character. One day we saw him dancing, next day a great friend, cute yet so mature, sensible, selfless, an awesome poet, common man who was happy with his own love life. For me swayam is one deadly combination of awesome characterization plus actors involvement.
But now the same swayam looks completely different. Its not from past 1 or 2 weeks if we observe after trial confession creatives started restricting swayam character. With each track they start reducing the exclusivity of the character which also reduce the chances for shantanu to prove himself more as an actor. Usually we saw cvs used to explore the character and its limit with time but here after one year they started reducing the exclusivity which is the one thing still i am not able to understand. Even we saw shantannu himself saying he almost stopped his most famous one liner and classroom showdown was the only scene in which he had something to do in terms of acting. Right now we are not able to poet, lover boy, a leader and more things. Still till palki mam exit she managed swayam brilliantly with less exclusivity also, even though we are not able to get depth analysis of the character still we used understand the swayam his p.o.v. So till last week i am all fine with swayam rude behavior towards sharon bcs still after his rude behavior we used to get his p.o.v.
But from last week i am very much disappointed with the way swayam is handled, cvs restricted this character too much now he is only friend of rey and kriya. He dont have any passion for dance, don't care about his love life, infact leave his love life he just dont care about his own life now. Swayam behavior towards sharon is justified his trust is broken now its sharon time to prove herself but i am not happy with the way cvs showing this by showing him "only rude" person somewhere killing the beauty of swayam. Swayam is that kind of character even small mistakes make big whole in him. If cvs wont be able to develop the character in the same way it developed i dont have any problem but please don't destroy him. Let swayam shikawath be the same old swayam shikawath with his originality pls maintain that.
