Is Dilshad wrong to want some happiness for the rest of her life?
Dilshad lived her entire life until today for her kids, ignoring her wants and wishes. Now that they have found the love of their lives, it is not wrong for Dilshad to want her love back.
She had managed to suppress her loneliness, her want to rest her head on her partners shoulders. A son can never take the place of a husband no matter what.
She has seen the love that Asad and Zoya shares, she watches Asad doing things for Zoya, she watches their fights. She wishes she could be part of that circle.
If her husband had died, that "missing" is a different story all together.
Now if Asad did not want Dilshad to be with Rashid
- for fear of Dilshad being hurt again by Rashid
- Dilshad was being forced into it.
But that is not the situation, Asad is angry with himself for secretly wanting his father, for missing him. He is unable to see beyond that wrath. He is unable to see the loneliness in his mother which no son can fill.
In lot of Asad-Zoya nok-jhoks, they get so engrossed in themselves that they do forget Dilshad.
Dilshad has the right and only right to decide on her future. If she has decided to forgive Rashid, it is her right to do so. She is not asking Asad to forgive Rashid, but just be happy for her.
Is she wrong in wanting to live again instead of just existing? She loves Rashid.
P.S. In todays episode, I did not like Rashid's statement that Dilshad was first his wife before she was Asad's mother. To that, Rashid miya, my question what happened to all these 17 years when she was alone, struggling all on her own.
P.P.S I don't believe Dilshad lost any credibility in her decision to want to get back to Rashid.
