The week that was, started very energetically, full with actions and reactions.đ
Saras saved Kumud from the fire but he could not save himself from Pramad's shot. The latter almed at him and wounded him in the arm.
Saras tried to make Kumud leave him before he fell unconscious but she would not.
They kept hiding in the woods and ran together to escape from the predator Pramad.
On the other hand Danny is trying to call Saras on his phone but in vain. The Desais (Danny had revealed the truth to them) and the brother were tensed and feared for Saras' security.
Saras and Kumud kept running and suddenly Kumud's mangalsutra got stuck to a branch. She ripped it from around her neck and ran with Saras in the deeper jungle but they finally got caught.
Pramad tried to shoot Saras again but Kumud warned him that she would kill him if he dared touched Saras. The villagers noticed that something was wrong and came for rescue and Pramad had no choice but to leave. Saras and Kumud spent the night in a hut in the village.
Pramad on the other went back home and concocted a story to malign Kumud and Saras. The BDs were told that Kumud has eloped with her lover.
The next morning The BDs came to Ratnanagari and Pramad started his lies but Saras and Kumud reached there and Kumud narrated the whole truth. Pramad denied being the one who wanted to kill Kumud, Kalika joined in but both partners in crime were losing credibility in front of Saras and Kumud.
Finally Pramad used the nave villagers in his drama. When the villagers learned that Kumud spent the night with a "paraya mard", obfuscated they asked an "agni pariksha" from Kumud. Kumud refused categorically and spilled the beans about shaitaan" Pramaad. And threatened both Pramad and the villagers
- Nobody insults my dad and Saras or else...
Unable to hear her son being insulted, SD went lived and asked Kumud to shut it up. Alak told her mom off and got a slap in return.
Refusing to let it go, Kumud stated that she would go to file a complaint against Pramad.Her family joined and supported her. The police came and took the criminal Prammy away.
The next day, Saras and Danny were packing their luggage to leave. Dugbaa tried to stop Saras but he replied that he promised to leave when Kumud would be safe.
Kumud and her sisters were on the terrace flying lites when Saras joined in. Kumud tried to stop him but he said that he would keep hurting her if she clung to him.
Saras was leaving, turning back to see Kumud a last time but she was in her room sulking. Kussum asked her to stop Saras but she refused. Kussum ran to stop Saras but he didn't change his mind.
Later after a good ear filling from Kalika, SD started "bhool and jal hartal" and made BD called Kumud to write off the complaint.
Kumud agreed but on one condition. She wanted divorce from Pramad. BD agreed.
Saras has settled in a house and was unpacking when he found Kumud's letter:
- Why did you leave go away? Couldn't you stay without my telling you so?
Saras muttered to himself that he knew he would have been unable to move out if she had stopped him.
Kumari informed Danny about Pramad getting released. Danny told Saras about it. The latter rushed to the haveli and met kussum who told him that Kumud was asking for a divorce and was happy for her sister and for a new beginning pointing out the deep bond and love shared by Saras and Kumud.
Saras went to meet Kumud in the market and when he questioned her, the Sundari got annoyed and started ranting about how he would force his ways on her but wont listen to her. Finally she admitted that she needed him and asked him:
- Stay Saras! I need you around to start my life afresh.
Saras went with VC and Dugbaa to get the divorce paper signed but Pramad had changed his mind. His family too was shocked. The Desais were going back disgusted by Pramad's attitudes but he stopped them in the yard.
The scene shifted to Kumud and her sisters on the terrace where kumud is tending to a pigeon's wound putting ointment on its leg. On the other hand Pramad was promising to ruin Kumud's life. As Kumud was releasing the bird in nature, Pramad was threatening to "cut Kumud's wings" and burn her dreams and aspirations to ashes.
Saras in turn told him that HE would be the one to turn ashes soon.
When the Desais and Saras came back, they were pleasantly surprised to see Kumud in her old bright dressing style. Kumud was looking happy as she had joined work again. Saras was happy to see old Kumud back.
VC didn't tell her about Pramad.
The next morning Vc came to meet Saras to help him in his business. Saras agreed and VC was relieved and hugged Saras. Later when Saras joined the Desais in the haveli, VC proudly told his family that Saras would be running his factory.
As Saras was leaving, Kumud ran after him and asked him about the divorce papers. Saras had no choice but to tell her the truth. Kumud told him:
- I can face everything when you are with me.
Suddenly an agitated VC ran towards them. The factory had caught fire and who else than Pramad was behind it. Apparently the "gooongi" servant of the Vyas brothers is Miss Kalika in disguise.
As the Desais and Saras wrestled to put out the fire, Pramad came to add fuel to it.
He had a sarcastic smile and reminded Saras of the message he sent for Kumud about turning her life to ashes. He called Saras "manhoos" and "mooh bhola jamai" of the Desai and was sorry of SaMud's "adhoora pyaar" blablabla...
Finally Kumud came in front and told him off.
- You can do whatever you want but you will always find us like this - united! We will find a way to run our business because we make our own "kismat".âď¸

Pramad taunts Saras and Kumud sees his true face. Pramad says you both will die together. Pramad aims at them with the gun. He says don't be worried Kumud, he is still alive. Pramad tells Kumud about his plan to kill Kumud. He says now you see how Kumud dies infront of your eyes. Kumud thinks about Saras's words and how Pramad cheated her. She sees a weapon and picks it up. She shouts Pramad and says you can't touch Saras as I? m still alive, if you have guts, shoot me. Some women see them and Kumud warns Pramad and says today you will see my anger. She says I slapped Saras because of you and you tried to kill me. She says I will kill you if you hurt Saras. The women come and Pramad is caught. The women support Kumud and Pramad says I m going now Kumud, but remember I won't leave you both. Pramad leaves. Kumud asks Saras to get up.
