The week started with Kumud making besan ke laddoos in the kitchen looking a bit tensed and worried. Saras came in and immediately sensed her restlessness. He asked her what was wrong and Kumud told him that she was not really positive about BD transferring Pramad's share of property on her name. Saras reassured her that it was a good decision and also reminded her of her promise to which Kumud replied confidently that Pramad would change and Saras would be able to leave and move on.
A "heart broken" Saras left leaving a broken "heart-shaped" laddoo behind which made Kumud sad.
On the other hand, the groom and family were there to see Kalika. She tried to make the groom reject her but in vain. Finally Kalika had no choice but to run away but..not before threatening and challenging kumud that SHE was part and parcel of Pramad's life and that Kumud would not be able to do anything about it.
A fuming Pramad went mental and turned the house topsy turvy after Kalika left. BDs were left flummoxed by his attitude and Kumud very guilty. Saras again reassured her and Kumud replied that thanks to him at her side, she was now able to bear pain.
Back to her room, Pramad still very frustrated left no stone unturned to taunt Kumud, calling her parents shameless and her sister characterless to which a fed up Kumud replied back and... a war of words followed which led to physical violence from Pramad's side. Fortunately Kumud managed to escape his grip. She was hurt very badly and limped her way to the family while a devastated Saras looked on. She pleaded, crying her heart out to the family to let her go as she would not be able to change Pramad. BD and Alak approved her decision and Saras was given the responsibility to drop Kumud at her parents' place.
Before leaving for Ratnanagiri, Saras had a talk with Pramad telling him off and pitying him for his foolishness in not recognizing people who genuinely care for him.He also revealed Kalika's true colours to him.
On their way to Ratnanagiri, Saras stopped the car for Kussum to get some water. Once alone with Kumud, Saras consoled her and they both went to a nearby temple to pray. The priest, thinking that they were husband and wife, blessed them and said that they would always be together as their heart and fate were linked. Embarrassed, they left and kussum who heard everything had a flashback of her conversation with Kumud and the latter's belief in Lord Shiva..
As Saras' car reached the Desai's Haveli, Danny's car was seen leaving and the two brothers missed meeting each other. Saras and Kumud shared one final heart to heart conversation where Saras asked Kumud to stay happy and Kumud in turn asked him to move on in life. They both left each other with a heavy heart.
Kumud reached the front door of her home and is shocked to hear her parents talking about their financial crisis. At the same moment, Pramad "materialized". He was there to ask for Kumud's forgiveness and to take her back. Kumud was in a dilemma. She decided to go back to avoid unnecessary tension to her parents.
(Danny forgot his charger at the Desais and while on his to the haveli learned that VC was selling his car. Curious he tried to get more info. He went back to the Desais and coerced Kumari to tell him all)
The BDs were happy to see Kumud. Saras was shocked and annoyed. Kumud did not tell him the real reason of her coming back but she told Pramad in explicit terms that she was there not as his wife but as the daughter in law of BDs. Pramad had to sleep in the living room and SD disapproved. She had a talk with her husband who told her off.
Later when Pramad came for food and said he would not drink, SD got happy. But Pramad again relapsed. When he went with Saras for a work, he disappeared and came back home completely drunk. BD got upset but Kumud thought that Pramad was behaving that way because of BD's lack of trust on him. She asked BD to give Pramad's share back to him to win him back and instill trust and confidence in him.
The week ended on an interesting precap where BD was asking Saras if Kumud's suggestion was a good one. Saras replied that they should wait more. The camera freezed on Pramad listening in the corridor!!
Is Pramad changing?
or
Is Saras Harvardish brain right in believing that the dude is "unchangeable"?😆
Affaire a suivre...😛
As a SaMudian I personally choose this particular scene as the scene of the week.
Seeing these two together in the same frame, praying like in good golden old time was just heart warming and awwing all the way!!
Such "a feeling good" scene stole my heart
