The week started quite dramatically with Pramad asking Kumud to perform a Shradh (after he met Kalika outside and the latter filled his ears and raise his insecurities) for Saraswatichandra's soul to bury her past for good. Kumud refused but for Saras' sake,As the Shradh was being held, a torn Saras and shocked Kussum looked on Kumud crying and finally unable to bear it, she passed out.
After the Shradh, a crying Saras was reminiscing his betrayal to kumud in front of the sacred fire when Dugbaa called him to talk about Danny and to inquire if he was behind the financial help being given to her family. Saras didn't deny it and said that he was just doing his duty. Finally Dugbaa accepted to keep Danny there.When Kumud came to the terrace, she found a lost Saras in deep thoughts. Kumud thanked him for proposing to build a school to BD and to give Pramad the credit for his idea and was shocked when Saras replied that Saras was not dead now.At the same moment Pramad came and told them about his meeting Kalika leaving both Saras and Kumud perplexed because Kalika had apparently not revealed the truth to him.
Keen to rectify his mistake Pramad cut himself to say sorry with his blood, making Kumud very sad. Saras told him not to give Kumud any grief if he really wanted to make it work between them. Saras also told Kussum that he was ready to help Pramad provided the man was changing. Pramad brought bangles for Kumud and to make her happy he proposed to take her to her parents' home to celebrate Navraatri.
Before leaving for Ratnanagari, Kumud shared her apprehensions to Saras. The latter reassured her that all would be fine but Kumud though trusts Saras fully, was not sure if it was right to hide the truth from Pramad.
When Mr and Mrs Pramadhan reached the Desai Haveli with Saras in toe, the family's eyes nearly pooped out. Danny finally met his brother but didn't acknowledge him in front of Pramaad. Leter they met outside and shared a hug. Both brothers were shocked to see Solanki (who is syill keen to set scores with Saras) at the Haveli with the lawyer. VC managed to get rid of them but Saras had already guessed that the family was in big trouble.
Dugbaa had listened to the two brothers' conversation and realized that Saras was now living for Kumud's happiness only. When Saras went inside, The Desais were sharing gifys with their daughter and son in law. Seeing Saras, Pramad went to him and tild the Desais that Saras too had contributed in a way to change his attitudes and behavior and dropped the bomb.
Folding his hands, he asked for Saras' LOVE - Kussum!! The family was flabbergasted and once Pramad went to the room with Kumud, they vented all their anger on Kussum. Kussum told them how she had been compelled to lie amd had forced Saras to go along with it. Kumud came and promised to rectify that huge blunder.
Saras on the other hand was having a hard time believing that Pramad had changed so drastically overnight and voiced out his reservations to both Danny and Kussum. Pramad tried to get along with the family and later proposed to visit the Shiv Mandir of the village. The next morning Pramad and Kumud were at the Mandir's stairs when Kumud sensed somebody keeping a watch on her. It was Kalika who was following them. She pulled Kumud's feet who lost her balance but Pramad caught her in time and fell down the stairs. He was hurt.
Kumud and Pramad could not have God's darshan and went away. Kalika swore to tackle Kumud and snatched what was hers.
Back to Desai's haveli, Kussum was telling Saras that they should agree for the marriage in front of the BDs but Kumud reached there and rejected the idea. She went away, determined to tell Pramad truth but retreated as she saw the BDs in the haveli.
To start the celebration, Pramad proposed to go out to bring Durga Maa's idol. Saras followed him and Kalika too. Pramad saw Saras and Saras pretended that he only wanted to come and help him. He too started believing that Pramad was changing and back home he asked him not to give any grief to Kumud who is a sincere and good hearted person.
Later at night, on the terrace, Saras was reminiscing old memories - Kumud dancing in the rain, when he saw her right there. They looked at each other. BG music playing . A heart to heart conversation followed. Both expressed their apprehensions through their eyes.
- I don't want ur life ruined cox me n our past.
- Don't u trust me?
- More than myself!
- Then let me fight it!!
Kumud leaves and the week ended with an explosive precap!

A breath of fresh air for us all and a field day for Desais ladies, especially Chandrika😆, who thoroughly enjoyed the almost size zero Vyas Junior!!😆
