Was killing the psycho justified?

Yeah its me again, I am like that bad penny, you never know when I will turn up.😉

So folks, Arjun killing the Psycho at the end, justified? He had an opportunity to arrest the man, but no he killed the guy, execution style. He told Shree he would try not to kill him but in the end he did it.

Why?

There have been other Psychotic killer like the one from today's episode, why didn't Arjun kill them instead of arresting them?

From my POV yes the man deserved to die for the brutal way he killed innocent people. Just because he was mental and psychotic doesn't excuse what he did.

Yeah you guys know what this is about. Few weeks ago I made a post about hypocrisy at its best and some didn't like my views, but I ask again how was this different?

Arjun was angry because his own teammate was attacked by the Psycho, and he decided the man won't escape death at his hand and that was it.

So will he be any different when it comes to Sikandar? Because Sikandar killed the love his life, his wife, will that be justified killing?

If an attack on a team members makes him react the way he did today, then I can't even imagine his reaction when he comes face to face with Sikandar.

And yes, I am glad that he killed the Psycho in today's episode, not only for Shree but for all those innocent people too.

Disclaimer: This topic is about Arjun the character and his action in today's episode not on the actor who plays the character, so please keep that in mind before you decide to comment on this thread.

Hey shilpa! 😃

Awesome post like always 👏

For your question... yes I am glad that that psycho is dead!

Yes like u said he is like any other psycho that the etf team encouter everyday... then what was special today? Well for that I would say that today the psycho has hit arjun's nerve! He hurt his team mate and someone he cares about ... he hurt shree.. hurt him bad! 😭
Plus u cant forget the fact that along with killing innocent people and hurting shree this psycho also hit arjun...

Plus even if they did send him to jail... whats the garantee that he wouldnt run away like he did when he was in rehab?

So along with u... im glad the psycho was shot at the end.😊

Ooola Shilpa di :)

Again, i havent watched yesterdays ep... but i suppose, professionally one has to be able to differentiate their professional duty from their personal bias...

Arjun being a professional and honest officer, dedicated to his duty... he shouldn't have let his comdarie with and sympathy for shree influence his dealings of the pyscopath...

I know that many will argue that since arjun is showing signs of "being human" since his avenging shree's accident (sorry dont actually know happened)... & also that to err is human...

But Arjun cannot go around avenging everyone... then there will be no difference between him or criminals... There are flaws in his character, i know not everyone is perfect, but him being a police officer should not exhibit hiprocrasy in his dealings... firstly, it does not set a good example in society & secondly, it could cause a lot of trouble proffessionally as he could be up for scrutinity from his fellow officers

Awesome post!!! pls, ignore any spelling & grammatical errors.. am in a revision lecture & needed something to stop me from falling asleep... I need some caffiene desperatly!!!!!

First of all thanks for the post di...
This question is real timely..

Generally the psycho serial killers follow a pattern..
Their single mindedness made them kill people for same or rather similar cause...
Also the same way...also their treatment (?) to every victim doesn't vary much...
And then we can understand their justification somehow, though any crime cannot be justified..
These kinds of psychopaths can be sent to the rehab centers...
We can certainly understand that world is not perfect...
Everyone has the right to live...we cannot just judge a person to die as we want them to...
Else the world will be empty soon...I understand all these..
Arjun had not killed any psychopaths in this series till yesterday...
This is in line with my understanding stated above..
He had handed over the killer to the hand of law...
And I don't think he has killed the filth yesterday just because he attacked Shree...
He was angry definitely. ...
But it cannot be the reason...
Raghu, the filth of this society, in any action was nth fold multiplied by his father's brutality. ..
He had killed Father Rodriguez brutally...this man has saved him when he was orphaned. .
His guilt was not confessed ever as Raghu never repented...
He was no human anymore...
Do we remember how brutally he had killed everyone???
Nothing can justify his actions...
Actually he had killed people for no reason...the reason was actually far beyond his mother's murder...
Because his mother's murder couldn't ever justify the rape of poor girl...
It was his animalistic urge...in every way he had crossed the limit to hear jurisdictional verdict...
Because he was the danger for this society. ..and he had once proved rehab wouldn't have helped him...or better to say us...
This coward filth had ultimately used a kid to shield himself...and if we can remember what was he doing with the kid, we can feel what Arjun did is right and only right..nothing else was expected for him...
Raghu was ferocious, this was the only way to stop him..
We know law is blind...all recent incidents have made us think so...
Just by hearing only, his brutality couldn't be measured...
So to take the law in hand for a person who had both seen and heard his brutality is quite normal and justified...
Hence, Arjun had done nothing wrong...
I dont have enough words to thank him...

Hey B1...
Perfect topic for discussion and debate!

This is my POV about it...
I dont know about whether it was legally right or not...May be legally, the right thing was to arrest him and send him to rehab or something but I dont think anything would have made that monster mend his ways...He had got his chances to recover but he didnt! He was taken up by that church father but he killed him...He was sent for treatment but still he was having that violent streak...

He was a rotten apple which needs to be removed once and for all from the world
And thats exactly what Arjun did also...I felt a sense of relief and joy when Arjun finished him off point blank!

He killed so many innocent people and what he did to that doctor's daughter was horrible and he deserved nothing but death for that!

Many crimes would stop or atleast decrease if there were such on the spot punishment to criminals whose crimes are proved beyond doubt...And this world would be a better and safe place to live in!

Coming to Sikandar, I guess he deserves to die as well...right or wrong, may be i would want to see him being killed by Arjun...I do that in my stories as well and in the show also, i want to see that happen!

It was a different Kameena Psycho , u did not see, how he did rape with that girl ., he deserves it😡 ...direct bullet. 😆 👏 may be this is actual reason with Shree's dhulai by that physco person , no wonder for this!!

for Shree's dialg simply 👏 👏 ⭐️

Sikandar ne na sirf Rosh ko maara hai infact usne bahut dunia ko pareshaan kiya hain, tabi to arjun ka dushman bana . he is underworld don na...uski to khair nahi...marega hi marega use toh! vo dekhna sabse alag cheez hogi mere liye...😳

Arjun did a great job by killing that psychopath. When he comes face to face with Sikandar, Arjun will give him the most painful death ever. I'm loving each and every bit of this show.

Must say a very valid question is raised here. I for a change would say that he was perhaps not justified. On reflection I can feel the satisfaction that evil got what it deserved, but when I saw him actually shoot the guy the only emotion I felt was fear. Moral or legal considerations did not quite cross my mind..I was just scared for Arjun. What would the consequences be? How would he defend himself..can he claim self defence since he shot him point blank?..would he be reprimanded? ?...This was all going through in my mind. But like it has been mentioned here..this criminal was beyond repair, law and punishment. So I do not quite know what would be the justified line of action he should have taken.
But I hope I am not the only one to be mistaken as I sensed nobility in his actions. What was Shree to him? A team member with whom he has hardly had a full length conversation apart from professional discussions. And can we imagine what he risked for him. He was ready to face professional humiliation or even worse suspension. And then it would be near impossible to get Sikander. He risked the sole reason of his existence for a team member and some victims who were strangers for him. He managed to over come the human selfish gene and thus for once I think he was more than "being human".
