Before I continue I would like to state that i CONTINUE on my stand that I will refrain from making analysis posts on episodes until this track is completely unfolded. That being said this post is not an analysis on QH's episodes, but merely on Gul's CREATIVITY and why i appreciate it. 😳 To get my point across I will have to site from the show. Just in case anyone finds me a hypocrite or something. 😆 Better I make this statement before I continue.
Anyways HERE is why I PRAISE GUL KHAN's CREATIVITY.

Qubool Hai is a story. Whose story? The person writing it. Gul Khan and her creative team, while I myself am not content with the way this particular track is shown, I am content with the fact that Gul and her team are taking CREATIVE RISKS in the name of entertainment.
Where else will we find a woman who herself is MUSLIM (lets not forget this), CHALLENGING the norms and customs of her own culture and religion?
The matter of contention with everyone is: HOW CAN GUL KHAN of all people be so INCORRECT in ridiculing the sanctity of marriage in Islam, when she herself is Muslim?
My question: IS SHE REALLY RIDICULING it? OR, is she CREATIVELY raising AWARENESS?
To all wondering this: Do you guys not think that Gul herself KNOWS that what she is showing is wrong? Is she that IGNORANT to her own culture and religion and its practices?
I think Gul and her team are CREATIVELY raising awareness by showing the very things about her own religion that she DOESNT like. Its reverse psychology. Who EVER listens to messages when they are READ allowed to you and sermonized to you? NO ONE. People listen and UNDERSTAND and pay attention to those messages when they see them UNFOLD with their own eyes. Awareness is raised when the questioned practice is actually SHOWN.
An incomplete PUZZLE never brings forth the ENTIRE picture. You only get it in pieces. To see the ENTIRE picture, one has to COMPLETE the puzzle. This being said, to show what SHOULDN'T be happening, one has to FIRST show what IS happening or what the PROBLEM is before getting the SOLUTION.
In Qubool Hai's case:
What shouldnt be happening is accidental marriage or UNWANTED marriages and making them work. Thats the PROBLEM or ISSUE.
In society it may be the case that two individuals get married unwillingly when their destiny's lie somewhere else. They get into unwanted bonds and all of a sudden it seems as if those two people have to FOREVER settle with that unwanted bond. As if, its marked in stone that when you marry its FOREVER no matter what.
Is this true? Should it really be this way? NO. If two peoples hearts are not in a marriage, should they SETTLE and live a LIFE of compromise and MAKE their relationship work? this may be the VERY practice Gul and her team are trying to raise awareness to. And how can this matter be FIXED? whats the SOLUTION?
DIVORCE. An end to unwanted marriages is DIVORCE and the issue with this is how STIGMATIZED divorce is in society not just Islam but in Hinduism and other religions as well. Divorce is one thing that people look DOWN upon and i think Gul very CREATIVELY is showing that it SHOULDNT be looked down upon. It can be a solution.
And I personally LOOK DOWN UPON those who think that once a girl marries she can never re-marry or go back to her first love. Thats hysterical to me. A couple isnt RUINED. In fact i think a couple becomes even more RESPECTED if they face life's challenges and are able to overcome them with stride and unite in the end. THAT makes for a beautiful love story. A love story with CHALLENGES and HURDLES. Not one where couple are always together romancing and living in a BUBBLE where nothing WRONG can ever happen. The truth about life is that PEOPLE sometimes get married to someone who they dont want to cause situations demand it. Those who try to make those unwanted relationships work: KUDOS to you. THOSE who try to CHALLENGE that unwanted relationship, get out, and follow their HEARTS .. equals my SALAAM and HATS OFF. 👏
Looking at laws of parallelism the ADULTS in this TWISTED story are in bonds that they have COMPROMISED in. Gaffur and Raazia, or Shireen and Rashid. They have compromised with their destiny.. but WHY SHOULD THEIR KIDS? This is what is being highlighted. How the CHILDREN of these parents CHALLENGE the situations they are in and OVERCOME THEM if they dont agree.
This being said:
Nikhat's character seems to have given up on life but what is to be shown is how she OVERCOMES the depressing state she is in. She may marry Farhan and face more challenges, but what is to be seen is when she HERSELF says I cant do this to myself. Maybe she makes the relationship work and yes this can be a route or maybe she herself asks for divorce and moves on and follows her dreams. How will we know what she does with her life until we see the END game.
Najma's character seems to be happy that she is marrying someone she loves but when she faces the harsh reality that the person she thought was perfect, is NOT so perfect, WHAT will she do? Will she try to make that relationship work or will she opt out for a divorce?
Asad, Zoya, Aayan, Humeira are facing situations that are compromised with.. what is to be seen is how they CHALLENGE these situations/circumstances and overcome them.
Gul Khan is TWISTEDELY and creatively selling her own PRINCIPLES. And we have sheer proof of how she goes about doing this from past tracks.
The track about the mini skirt- she SHOWED the problem first and then sermonized.
The Rajbeer track- she SHOWED the problem first and then sermonized.
This time around.. she is SHOWING the PROBLEMS but she isnt going to sermonize them .. she is going to SHOW the solutions and this will take TIME.
Yes there are FLAWS and LOOPHOLES i agree but whats more important? focusing on these flaws and loopholes or looking at the greater picture?
Finally, is Gul Khan trying to show that woman are commodities- come on now. SHE IS A WOMAN HERSELF. Have some faith that if she is SHOWING these things its to send the OPPOSITE messages. Why the heck would ANY creative preach such things whether its the commodity issue or the abuse (with daadi).. She is simply raising awareness.
The way she is doing this is presenting her STORY .. the literal one of family drama and this and that, but also giving hidden messages.

Mistakes make you or break you. You can either DWELL on them for the rest of your life or CHALLENGE them learn from them and MOVE ON.*

Anyways, thats all i had to say. I appreciate the WAY Gul khan's CREATIVE risks cause it sets her apart from other writers.
Everyone can argue if they want with me on this, but i did NOT create this post to ARGUE. I created it to state my POV which I did. So please dont expect a huge debate from me or something. If you guys disagree then you disagree and I respect that and id love hearing why you disagree. Im not going to challenge it. If you agree with me, i appreciate it and a big thanks from my side.
-- Before I go, i once again URGE people to have PATIENCE. Its a STORY and a SHOW and meant to be CREATIVE and DIFFERENT. If you arent fond of it, then grab the clicker and change the channel, but why stress yourselves so much that it compromises your health? 😆 Relax. Breathe. Have patience. and Just watch it creatively and twistedly unfold.
Watch this show for the story, entertainment of it all.. although flawed in execution, look at the bigger picture. And if you are going to nit pick and focus on morals and messages, then please understand that there isnt just one TUNNEL way of looking at morals and messages. Sometimes they are presented CONVOLUTED not SERMONIZED.
