yes...for me I don't think she is trying to send a message...I think she is grabbing from her bounty of knowledge about the cultures that surround her to add the different layers to the story she is telling...she is just trying to move it along...somehow she had to get Zoya in SM without discovering the plot about who her father is...because many things in the show are just for us to know and for them to find out...i'm enjoying the cliff hanger..

I have to say she is creating lot of awareness true, she is making people think and talk about her religion, would we divulge in depth if she just show invalid marriage an invalid in one go. I never knew laws around muslim marriages before, some post are really knowledgeable..

She did tackle skirt issue well and I have faith in the end she will justify things here too..

Also, people can bash her and writers but at the end of day I praise writers for this unexpected twist. What best way Zoya would have got in SM, made Razia restless, Asad and Ayaan guilty to protect her, know her father with no prejudices for what he did to her? Interact with Humaira with more compassion, they both lost here and it neither's fault..

I know people wasting so much energy in bashing Gul, for once can they see things with different perspective and if they still see wrong, provide positive feedback on how things should be, keeping in mind story has to move and tracks should not be predictable..

This wasn't even an issue which could be sermonized because it is so prevalent and deeply rooted. I think the fact that all this is still a puzzle makes it even more interesting.

When divorce will happen then we will discuss this but currently divorce isnt happening currently they are signing the nikah nama for the sake of society so currently there is no challenging of norms or creating any awareness .But if that happens later i will be very happy then atleast this track will have some point.So we have to wait and watch does gul really show ayaan and zoya getting divorce becuase this was an accidental marriage and has no meaning in their eyes or does she show that ayaan and zoya stick by this marriage becuase marriage is marriage accidental or not.That we will only know later.Right now she is showing that for the sake of society they are standing by their accedeintal nikaah which is very regressive and definatly is not challenging hypocracy of society but if that happens later i will be happy

They are signing divorce contract along with nikanama as seen in sbs.

Great post Rosh.

If this is the message Gul is sending Kudos to her.

It is important especially for women to see divorce as an option.

People should get married for the right reasons and divorced for the right reasons.

P.S. Gul owes persons like you and Sangeeta Di big time. You guys are literally saving her some viewers when you break things down like this. 😊

Great post Rosh

I agree that Gul is one creative lady with a great knack for storytelling. She is one who believes in show rather than tell. I think that's why some viewers have a difficult time with certain tracks

The best way to enjoy her show is wait and watch. She will show us a problem first and gradually solve it as the track unfolds just like ithappened during rajveer times.

Even I have been frustrated with certain tracks and scenes but ultimately we find a reason for it. The current track where Zoya is being forced against her will is her way to tell us that Islam does actually have equal rights for women. She will of course address this much later. Till then she will show us how a woman can be forced and coerced against her wishes
