'Ontment', Batman and other fun-8th Aug

The writing in the show pleasantly surprises me from time to time and today's epi motivated me to make a post😆.

So the paper planes scene from yesterday continued on today as well much to my pleasant surprise...LOL so Raghu throws yet another stone all coolly and this time throws an "Ontment" with it as well...that moment when Raghu is aaraaam se picking up and smoothing out another paper plane to throw over when it lands on Noor Aapa's face of all places...lol major OOPS moment for Raghu...

But even more hilarity continues...Raghu lamenting Noor Aapa's timing...and then proceeding to get up and pretend to work out randomly on the terrace lifting weights🤣...Noor Aapa's WTH face while reading the letter "Ontment hai...lagaa lena, nahin toh main khud aake lagaa dunga"...LOLL...Raghu ka Ointment ko Ontment banaana was the highlight of the epi. LOL@ Antara translating for Noor and telling her about Raghu's gadbad English...

I also liked how Antara admitted that she was giving him a hard time on purpose and had already put on the ointment herself...her smile there while telling Noor Aapa surprised me...lol it's already a game b/w them and they are pulling each other's leg subconsciously. She's mad at him but not THAT mad...lol...like she weirdly understands him.

And then bhola Raghu...lol so aaram se blurting out everything that happened to Aaji...like a schoolkid rattling off his times table...maine paani lagaya, ontment balcony mein phenka...lol...I love the bond b/w Raghu and Aaji...it's really sweet.

Morning time brings one more clash b/w Raghu and Antara...lol this time Antara chooses to block his way and return the ointment...and Raghu is now pissed off cuz it doesn't look like the ointment was used...haha...his "toothpaste bhar ke diya hai ismein?" line...lol...they run around each other in circles but in his own weird way, that was Raghu apologizing and trying to show concern...ofcourse Raghu being Raghu can't express it properly and would rather fight with her over it...I also liked this bit cuz Antara brought up the "ontment" spelling again to bug him and this was used to highlight the basic educational gap b/w them as well...as Raghu lashes out at her telling her that she also hasn't managed to achieve much in life despite so much education. I like that the show doesn't GLOSS OVER the huge differences b/w them and highlights them from time to time.

And the bit with the Doctor after this...hahaha loved it! RS is so awesome with his dialogues...Raghu saying to the doctor, "Tu Batman hai? Kab aaya pata bhi nahin chala"😆...and the doctor also having fun at Raghu's expense...telling him he showed up around the "ointment" bit in their fight😆


Another random but cute bit...Raghu watching Antara teach pranayam to Aaji and smiling at the two of them...very brief bit but so sweet...

And then the introduction of the Noor-Arshad love story...lol...I must say both actors are well cast...even Arshad...it's not some usual sidey actor...they are both doing a great job...and I liked their first interaction today...I thought it would be cliched love at first sight but it wasn't...it was surprisingly sweet and funny😆

Aaji motivating Antara to dance was also nice...the way that bit was incorporated into the story was also well done...

We were having this discussion in another post yesterday...there is a surprising SIMPLICITY to this show that has probably drawn me into being a regular viewer...I hope that quality is maintained as the story moves ahead.

Today's scenes were cute

The funniest part was the plane landing on Noor Appa's face and she was all flabbergasted as to where did the plane come from😆

I had this smile on my face when Raghu was rattling everything to Aaji😆

Bechaara Arshad...Teacher bana electrician😆

Innocence is what is drawing us towards the show😊

Thanks to CVs that they didnt bring such scene in which Arshad removing that flour from her forehead...

The best part of the show is nothing is over the top!...no unnecessary melodrama...

The dialogues are great and the writer is doing an outstanding job so far!
