In the 18th video, Zaara is shown having flashbacks that Amir has divorced her... Also, the severe strain in their relationship is noticed by all the family members... Does anyone know what happened? It seems as though a lot is missing between the 17th and 18th episode...

Hi
This is what I think is happening Aamir did give Zaara a divorce by saying Talaq once...however nobody in the family knows except Bebo. Theres supposed to be 40 days of iddath where Zaara needs to stay in her ex-husbands house before she can get remarried. So in these 40 days Aamir wants to convince the family that he cannot remarry because he only loves Zeenat whereas Zaara in these 40 days wants to covince Aamir to accept her and the marriage once again.

Wow sorry for the long explanation 😳

If I'm wrong please do correct me

If I'm not wrong you can't give a divorce unless you say it 3 times.

That's what I was wondering. I thought you have to say talaaq 3 times in order for it to be official. Would they remarry if they decide to work out the differences?😕

I'm really not sure...I have no idea 😕

but I just thought that if you say talaq 3 times in total you can never get remarried whether it be all at once or at three separate times however if you say talaq once or twice you can still get married again.

Please someone who knows correct me if I'm wrong because I'm just as confused

If the word talaq is said three times, then after a certain period of time, the girl can remarry someone but it has to be someone other than her previous husband... Then, if she gets divorce the seccond time, then she can remarry her first husband...

I don't know how it works with saying talaq 'one' or 'two' times... 😕

saying talq three times the wife is fully divorced if it is one or twice, women can still stay with her huband but if it is three times than women can no longer be the wife and if the women wants to marry the same guy she has to get married to someone else and then get divorce from that guy and sit in the iddah. Then she can re maary her exhusband. 😊 I know its confusing but that's how its work

Thnaks Shukra for clarifying. I also wanted to know if the number of times you say talaaq is carried on for the life of the marriage. For example, if Amir and Zaara make up and later on he says talaaq again 2 times than does that constitute as saying talaaq 3 times or is it only 2 times.

Another thing I wanted to know is during iddath why can't the women do anything for her husband ?

when the talaaq is said only once, the husband & wife are allowed to reconcialate within the 40 days period, if it is not done then they will be divorced fully, there is no iddat period in one talaq, in full talaq which is three times the iddat period is 3 months not 40 days, I think they should consider some islamic scholors before they can show anything on these very delicate islamic rules & issues....
