Guys as per latest news on FB page, there is apparently some news that Vineet has quit CID because he got another show. Here it is:

CID- Crime Investigation Department

some where news has buzzed that beloved vineet has quit the show.
confirmed with some crew, says he got new show to work on..!!

i wish you insp. vineet aka vineet kumar, all the best in ur future.
we fans gonna miss you!!

we are still trying to get the confirmed news, till then stay tuned !!

Yeah, I think he has because Vineet's name isn't there at the starting yesterday, unless I made a mistake.😔

Even I had started liking him. He was a good officer and he started looking like one as well. Other people should have gone, but instead he left. Reminds me of another exit that happened *cough, cough, Vivek, cough cough*.
