Geet was in a shock when she left Pari.

She was feeling very low.

Pari said that MP Di is going to marry Prem, and from her other talks it seemed that Di and Maan are married.

Is she being the reason to make Di's life like this?

She became more confused, but thing made her feel good and that was whatever the reason was Di looks happy.

Next day she was in dilemma; weather to go for the meeting or not.

Finally she decided to go thinking about the enthusiasm in the Basti residents

She was on time for the meeting, she shook hands with Maan.

He was very happy to see her, it seemed.

Sasha came up with the presentation and as usual it was fantastic.

Throughout the meeting she was silent, she was feeling very low, and this did not go amiss Maan.

He noted her silence but did not try to invade in her privacy.

Adi discussed financial aspects with her, and she was stuck on few clauses.

Maan was impressed, her business sense was immaculate.

Mean while seeing her engrossed in the facts he telephoned Pinky and asked her to send in snacks.

This did not go unnoticed by Geet, she was shocked, to hear him speaking.

Maan excused himself and went with Adi for a next meeting, while Sasha was there to accompany Geet and read through the clauses laid.

Once they left Geet turned to Sasha

G: he can talk?

S: who?

G: MK

S: Sure, he can, but

G: Ok , then he must be having some speech problem

S(confused): No

G: then why have I not heard him speak?

S: Oh, actually MK speaks very little between professional meetings; he leaves everything in our hands.

G: always

S: yes, but when needed he speaks, and when he speaks no one dares to differ from his opinion, such is his image in the co-operate world

G: Oh, that's why I have always heard him utter, um, o, hmm and I thought he has some problem

S (laughs): but that is only with the business world, otherwise he is too talkative, Manpreet Madam scolds him for talking non stop.

G (her heart sinks): Manpreet Madam?

S: yes, she is

Before she could complete, peon knocked and came in to place the snacks

S: Ramu, why 4 cups?

R: Maan Sir and Adi Sir are on their way here.

S: Ok, so where were we Ms. Handa

G: Geet, it's just Geet

S: Ok Geet fine

Maan and Adi entered the cabin and joined the girls

A: so did you go through all the clauses

S: yes

A: Ms. Handa, so what do you say?

G: I am fine with them

S: MK I think you should at least say few words while in the meeting, you know

Before she could say Geet pressed her arm, Sasha just smiled

Maan saw this and grinned

M: I know she thinks I am a dumb or I have some speech problem

Geet was like shocked

G: you knew

M: yes, when I told MP about your speaking on a high pitch with me, she told me that you think I am a dumb.

Adi laughed and Maan joined him while Geet felt very embarrassed

S: its Ok guys, she is feeling bad

M: hey, Geet don't feel bad, I really liked he effort you made to make me understand things, and after one point I did not know how to tell you. (He touched his ears) look I am sorry.

Geet smiled at him thinking, what a nice man he is?

After the contract was signed Geet left, she had sent her pick up van back, so she was looking for a taxi.

Maan came out and saw her standing on the footpath.

M: any problem

She was startled

G: no

M: I think I gave you a heart attack, I am sorry

G: it's ok

M: what are you doing here?

G: looking for a taxi

M: where's your van?

G: sent it back

M: ok I can give you a lift

G: no it's ok, sorry and thank you

M: why?

G: sorry for thinking you are a dumb and thank you for offering lift, but I will manage

M: hey Geet, come I will drop you at the metro then, you will not find any taxi

G: why?

M: see there

She looked and saw a hoarding stating that due to increase in petrol prices taxi will not run for two days.

G: Oh No

M: lift

G: looks as if I have no choice

M: looks so

She sat beside him and he drove off.

Both did not say anything.

Maan was lost in feeling her presence while Geet was lost in feeling guilty.

M: Geet could you wait for few minutes, I have to pick Pari from here

Pari, the name struck her, she panicked, and looked out from the window the find the car parked at the Rendezvous parking, she looked around and found her pick up van parked there at the service parking

G: I will go from here Maan Sir

M: how?

G: my van is parked there

M: your van

G: yes, we deliver confectionaries here

M: you deliver confectionaries here (he was shocked)

G: yes (she was a bit startled by his tone)

M: you are Geet Handa

G: yes (she knew something bad is coming)

M: but NT's bakery delivers them

G: NT???

M: you lied, now I know why you looked so familiar, you are NT, Myra's sister, Naintara Behl.

Geet could not speak; she was numb seeing his angry eyes and bitter tone

M: I told MP you will be just like Myra; you too are a liar like her

Geet could take no more and stepped out of the car

G: sorry and thank you

He did not react

She composed herself

G: thank you for dropping me and sorry for all this misunderstanding

Before he could react she fled to her van, thankfully the driver had come and he drove away with her.

but was it not obvious, maybe you alll thought differently
but Maan hated Myra and even her unknown sister, so this was to happen and when he is thinking about her telling herself Geet not NT he sure was to show his angry man version

let's see how MP will react after knowing that NT is Maan's sweetheart1...

now the parts have started merging...
