Chapter 1: A Gift that Gave a New Name to Their Friendship

The sun came into the room, making Virat shift slightly but only to encounter soft flesh. He opened eyes smiling and looked at the angel in his arms. Her sliver anarkali and soft makeup gave a glow to her face that Virat could not take his eyes off of. He slowly kissed her forhead and whispered I Love You Meri Pari to which Maanvi shifted in his arms moving closer. Virat took another look at her and just sighed wishing that this trip would never end.

****A Week Ago---- After Virkia and Virman's College Finals*****

Virat and Maanvi walked out of their last final relieved as they were finally done with college, well at least for the time being. They had both applied for a graduate engineering program and both were already accepted into the same college, making them even more excited. They walked over to Virat's car and saw Jeevika and Viren waiting on them. Jeevika had just finished her 5^th year of medical school and now only had a residency left, and Viren had just taken his last exam and would now start practicing Law. Both of them were talking and turned to see their siblings had finally came.

Viren and Jeevika: Virat Maanvi how were your exams, aacha to hua na??

Virman looked at their elder sibblings and giggled.

Virman: Yes Mummi aur Papa exams aacha hua.

They let out another giggle and then shook their head at their elder sibblings.

Virat: Bhai I understand you are older than me, but its only 1 year. You are more than welcome to talk to me about other things than my studies.

Maanvi: Hehe rehne do Virat, they seem to like acting older than they really are. They don't know the fun of being young and living an actual life she said as she looked at Jeevika who was always busy either helping around the house or studying. Jeevika giggled and hit Maanvi on the head. After joking a little more, they decided they should head home.

Virat: Oi Maanvi, since we are done with finals. Aaj to hum dono maasti karenge, you should come over after dinner.

Maanvi: Bhudhu, tum bhul gaye kya, we are coming over for dinner.

Virat: Oh yeah, yeh bhi sahi hai, we will have maasti during dinner too he said giving Maanvi a side hug. Virika just giggled at their siblings foolishness and went to their respective homes.

**Later that night at the Vadhera House after Dinner*******

Dadaji- Viren, Virat you two have worked so hard all semester on your studies. How were your exams?

Viren and Virat- They were good Dadaji, we will get the result next month probably.

Pinky Chachi, Kadambari Chachi, Vanshika and Swamini were all talking when Madan Chachu came to let them know they should leave now since he had work early. Dadaji heard him and walked over to Maanvi and Jeevika with a gift in his hand.

Dadaji- Maanvi beta, Jeevika beta, this is for you. You guys have worked so hard all and are almost done with your studies now. He then asked them to open it. The gift wrapped envelope had a single piece of paper in it that lit both Jeevika and Maanvi's face up. It was tickets to Goa. Maanvi and Jeevika both placed the tickets aside and bent down to get his blessings and got up only to see the guys had taken the tickets. Maanvi began chasing Virat for her ticket when Jeevika stopped her and told her to stop running around like a 3 year old. Dadaji laughed at the excitement of all four of the children and asked Viren and Virat to come to him as well.

Dadaji: Virat, before you start fighting with Maanvi again I have a gift for you and Viren too he said as he handed two more envelopes to him and Viren. It was again two tickets to Goa. Virat and Viren just looked at the tickets shocked and dadaji smiled at them. I needed someone to go as protection for my two betis, I am trusting you two to show them around Goa. You will stay at the bunglow we have there and show them around and make sure nothing happens to them he said as he pulled Maanvi and Jeevika closer. Viren and Virat also took his blessings as well and all 5 shared a group hug to thank Dadaji. Maanvi convinced Jeevika to stay for a little longer and the four headed up to Virat's room to talk while the elders said bye to each other. Viren, Jeevika, Virat and Maanvi continued talking and playing games until Virat and Maanvi ended up falling asleep on each other. Virika were so immersed in their conversation that they did not even realize. When they looked up at the TV they saw the video game just still and looked up on the bed to see Virat and Maanvi sleeping on each other's shoulders with the controller still in their hands. They smiled and Jeevika decided to wake Maanvi up and they left to go home. Viren fell asleep soon after they left and Jeevika fell asleep as soon as she got back. Virat and Maanvi had got enough sleep while their sibblings were talking and had other plans. Maanvi looked over at Jeevika who was deep asleep and pulled out her phone and texted Virat.

Maavi- Virat di is asleep and I am not tired.

Virat- Bhai is asleep too. Yaar we just got done with finals we should enjoy.

Maanvi- I say we sneak out!

Virat- Meet me behind your house in 10 minutes, we will go get ice-cream.
