Bollywood celebrities often face online scrutiny, from body shaming to unsolicited medical analyses. A recent case involved a self-proclaimed plastic surgeon claiming Rakul's appearance had drastically changed due to surgery, prompting her to speak out against such baseless claims.

Rakul issues a strong warning

Rakul Preet Singh took to Instagram on Monday, sharing a video where a self-proclaimed medical professional analyzed her appearance, claiming she'd undergone Botox, fillers, and a nose job. The man compared her old and new photos, criticizing her for not discussing her alleged procedures and focusing on fitness, setting "unrealistic expectations." Rakul slammed the doctor, calling him a fraud and emphasizing her transformation is due to weight loss and hard work, not surgery. She urged fans to beware of such misinformation, stressing that spreading baseless claims in the name of science is unacceptable and irresponsible.

Issuing a sharp warning, Rakul wrote, Fraud alert: it’s scary that people like him are claiming to be doctors and making statements without any factual checks and misleading people. She stated that she has no problem with people opting for cosmetic procedures, but spreading baseless claims in the name of science is unacceptable.

She also pointed out that physical transformations can be achieved through dedication to fitness and self-discipline. Being an actor who understands ancient and modern science, I have no issues if people do surgeries, but there is also another thing called weight loss that comes from hard work. Ever heard of that?” she wrote, cautioning followers to “beware of such ‘doctors’.
