Sid-Sia-Aastha - the love triangle!& more

I disagree with those who are pointing their fingers at Sia for loving Sid! Sia has remained the mature one for too long and hid her feelings out of respect for her mom and Aastha....but Aastha doesn't know the meaning of love! I am sure people are gonna question Sia's love for Sid because she initially 'loved' Anand....but, I never witnessed any romantic feelings for Anand from her side....it always seemed like a deep crush, nothing more! Anand wass 'the' ideal man and she obviously felt a deep connection, which was later gratified by the fact that he was her father!

Secondly, if Aastha truly loved Sid, she would have reunited Sid with the woman he loves - aka, Sia....why doesn't anyone bother to understand and respect Sids immense love for Sia....? WHy should Aastha's wishes be forever granted while Sid become the scapegoat?

And I cannot understand why Aastha is so loved by most here....she comes across as immmature and irrational to me! Yes, Simran hid umpteen things from her, which was obviously wrong....but Aastha's selfish behavior is beyond tolerance! She doesn't want to accept that Simran indeed loves her! Yes, her inital hurt and anger was justified....but her mean nature is no longer acceptable!

Lastly, Simran and Abhi should wake up and slap Aastha hard once for her behavior....they are encouraging her evilness by accepting her every wish and desire! Stop pampering her and treat her like an immature, irresponsible adult who needs serious counseling!

To conclude, while i believe that some things were hid from Aastha, she is not totally wronged either. If she was truly someone who cared for other's feelings, she would have respected Sid's decision to treat her like a friend and nothing more....yes, Aastha didn't know that Simran was not a mom, she didn't know that Sia was her sis, she didn't know that Abhi was in town, but she did know from the very beginning that Sid has never displayed romantic feelings towards her....why does she pursue him like an obsessed maniac then? In my opinion, Aastha would have remained immature even if nothing was hid from her....I just cannot tolerate her! lolzzz

Anyways, some thoughts!

I was also wondering the same thing myself, that if Sid and Aastha were friends for a while then why didnt Aastha notice that Sid never displayed anything but brotherly/guardianly feelings towards her (Sid always reprimanded her whenever she would do something wrong) and not notice the immediate attraction between Sid and Sia? She either didn't notice it or turned a blind eye to it.

As for Simran, didnt SHE notice Sid's attraction to Sia?? Simran seems to have asked Sia to stay away from Sid through blind love for Aastha and no regard towards either Sia or Sid. Sia still tries to keep herself away from Sid according to her wishes, but I don't understand why Simran didn't take that request back yet or say anything to Sia regarding Sid and her feelings for him.

It's a pity that Astha does not seem to understand everybody's love and concern for her.She takes their tolerance for their weakness.
I feel sorry for Astha (although her insolence is upsetting)because she is suffering for no fault of hers.I mean it's her Nani's doings. It's not so much the fact that Simran is not her real mother.(remember thwe flashback scenes of her childhood that Astha remembers in Nasik)Her real resentment is that Simran is responsible for her mother's death... she has been brainwashed to think like that. Now to make things worse, she has read Neha's diary and Kiran is adding fuel, ghee, oil and whatnot to the existing fire.
When so many viewers tend to think that Simran was indeed responsible for Neha's death, hasn't Astha been led to think the same???
That's not an easy shock to recover from..
My thoughts........

nice post askhata

does anyone know whether neha wrote in her diary that she would like her daughter to be just like simran? I remember she was thinking this before going into labour, but can't recall whether she wrote anything in her diary....

SIA SHOULD DECLARE HER LOVE TO SID.....SHE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO LIVE HAPPY LIFE AFTER SEPARTION FROM HER PARENTS...I FEEL SIMRAN IS VERY UNFAIR WITH HER.....TO SNUB HER OWN DAUGHTER'S FEELING FOR THE FACT THAT ASTHA GAVE HER REASON TO LIVE........

No IIndian,
Unfortunately Neha had not mentioned her last wish in her diary.Naturally she had no idea she would die.
Those were her thoughts when she realized she was going away.

hmmmm - i seem to remember her thinking she would like her child - if it is a daughter - to be just like dr. simran when she grows up.....she said this before she went into labour and when she was at her home with abhi. i am certain about that. However, what i am not so sure about is whether this scene was literally just before she went into labour or whether it was a few days before she did....if a few days before, then perhaps there4 would be an as yet unshown entry in her diary which could ultimately benefit asthu....

anyway - thanks for replying....

An interference of a second woman (which Simran definitely was) in any woman's married life can cause severe mental agony and stress.Any amount of stress and agony can be fatal in woman's pregnancy. As a doctor, why could Simran not see this without being told by Manas andNeha that shehad becomea second woman in Neha-Abhi's married life. Agreed, Simran took some steps like asking Neha to change her doctor, etc. but I guess those initiatives came a bit too late. Neha did think of changing the doctor but it was again at Abhi's insistence that she had to go back to Simran. Here Simran again agreed to be the doctor of Neha (A doctor has a responsibility to do best for his/her patient without bring her personal situation in between) - she also did this because of Abhi. That was the biggest blunder made by Simran and therefore, according to me, simran did have a hand in neha's death (although our relationship guru Abhi is the main culprit - not sure how he can get out of his mistakes so very easily).

I am pretty sure Neha must have mentioned the situations that were affecting her (and i think we all know what was bothering her) - didn't Abhi feel so very guilty that he ran away from his darling Simran only to return after 18 years. Why are we now blaming Aastha is she is feeling upset and angry at Simran after reading that diary (i believe Aastha should have been mad at Abhi as well - however, a sensitive insecure child with no mother could not afford to do that).

I totally agree with you, and also I never blame Radhaji for accusing Simran for her daughter's death...if this would happened to my daughter( God forbid ) I would definitely blame the person responsible for daughter's unhappiness and definitely hate that person. What else ppl are expecting from a shocked ,helpless woman.

She obviously likes him. and Ashtha.. shes just weird. She just runs after Sid like a sick puppy and I actually find it really pathetic. Sid.. o... he's not tht great either.. He comes off as having such a weak character.. like why cant he just tell astha to bak off? She's so irritating. And he's so ... chicken. And if I were Sia.. I would have told off astha long time ago and told her to her face that she's just an annoying 2 year old who needs to grow up and stop chasing after guys who dont want her. talk about desperate.!

I think Sia is running after Sid like a sick puppy, knowing that he is the love of her real sister...firstly she was behind Abhi like a sick puppy and now she is behind Sid.....Whether Sid love her or not but I think its VERY WRONG to get attracted to the person her sister loved...Sia is really disgusting, sick-minded and abnormal person.

Wawa and scorpio....and other anti-simranites 😉

Some interesting points you have made, objectively...good stuff...

There is one question that keeps bugging me though - hope u guys don't mind me asking, and i hope to get a reply...

Neha, just before she went into labour, was shown thinking that she would like her kid, if it is a daughter, to grow up and be like simran....furthermore, just before she died it was as if she knew she wouldn't make it through and wanted to talk to simran and abhi together...whilst we don't know what she was going to say per se, I think all of us would agree that she was going to ask them to get married and bring up her daughter as their own. (If anyone disagrees, then please don't hesitate to tell us your thoughts.) Unfortunately, she couldn't do this as there were further complications with her health at that time. She then knew she wouldn't make it, so in the presence of simran and poonam, she asked simran to raise her daughter, and also insisted that simran be the only woman that neha calls "mama".....Y'all agree so far? Good... 😊

Ok, now the question (finally!)...if Neha had no further resentments towards simran when she died, to the point that she did all the above; if neha did not blame simran for her death, then I still fail (miserably) to understand, but why do all of you?

WHO DIDN'T?

    Neha didn't. Poonam didn't.
  • Abhi didn't. Although the love of his life, his soulmate, is simran, he still did love neha....

WHO DID?

Radhaji (after trauma that affected her) did.
  • the anti-simranites

Now obviously, I can't ask radhaji cos she is in an asylum somewhere....but I can ask you guys....Now, I have already asked this before, but none of you replied....So can someone please reply now? Please...u see I read the stuff you write, and this point just does not make sense...

And Finally (yes, really - in this post anyway😉)......please don't take this personally, and please don't be offended cos it is not meant to offend. You are writing something on a bulletin board, and I am asking why...all quite reasonable, what?

Cheers peeps😊
