Sarabhais and Chhanchhan - fabulous!!! - Page 2

Thanks for the episode post Diya. Today was truly a full on Sanaya episode and she did not disappoint, neither did the writers. I am also glad that they are dwelling on Sarabhai family turmoil and did not show a "Mahan" Chhanchhan making a snap decision about marriage. Good they are taking it slow.

Apart from her, kudos to Sarabhai family, especially the dad ... and to the dialogue writer, for keeping the scenes and dialogues very realistic and true to life for the most part.

Infact I am liking these Sarabhai family interactions more then before. They are more mature and grounded scenes. Earlier it seemed they were all high on some happy juice all the time.

Really enjoying seeing Chhanchhan's dad's concern and having a niggling feeling despite assurances from all around and also the helplessness as parent of not being able to do anything to ease the pain of his daughter.

Yes, I am VERY glad that they are dwelling on the Sarabhai family turmoil ... I had made a post ages ago about how would Chhanchhan and the Sarabhais accept this match, knowing as they did, all about Chhanchhan's run-ins with Uma Ben. So I am very glad they are showing her family's doubts and fears ... that is such a realistic angle, especially for a family which is so loving and close.

Such a change from many TV shows where all the girl's family is concerned about is how to get her married off as fast as possible.

I found the dad's reaction very realistic again ... his helplessness and frustration coming out in anger at first his wife and mother, and then at Manav ... while he kept his cool in front of his daughter so as not to worry her any further than she already was ...

I am also very happy they're showing Chhanchhan thinking so much, and having her own doubts and fears ... thankfully she is not Mahaan know-it-all ... loved the way they showed her confusion and fears ... and Sanaya aces such scenes effortlessly, one can see her thoughts in her eyes ... she didn't really need those dialogues.

Liked the ChanMan scene ... again pretty true to life ...Manav all hot headed and impetuous, as most young guys can be ... and Chhanchhan the calmer one ... a reflection of her parents' state downstairs, where again her dad was all agitated and her mom and dadi were calmer ...
(Again, I SO wish the actor was better!!!)
