Sarabhais and Chhanchhan - fabulous!!!

Episode today

Starts with Chhanchhan lost in thought ... nice background song ... as she wonders what to do ... as usual, Sanaya's eyes reflect so beautifully the inner turmoil of Chhanchhan ...

Sarabhai family all worked up and worried, till Chhanchhan enters ... worry changing to relief, expressed as anger by a helpless father, who hates to see his daughter in this state ...

I loved Chhanchhan's dad today ... his anger, his rage, his helplessness at seeing his daughter in such a state ...
And loved the Sarabhai family again as they reassure Chhanchhan, especially her dad, that whatever she does, they are with her ...

Chhanchhan goes off to her room ... and behind her, her father's helplessness bursts out ...
Manav enters ... and CC's dad directs all his anger at him, the cause of his daughter's turmoil ... and Manav tells them he has left home and wants only to be with Chhanchhan, with her family's support.

Again LOVED CC's dad here ... the way he raged at Manav, Manav stood and listened quietly, while CC's mom and Daadi tried to calm down the enraged father and allow Manav to speak ... because they knew CC was waiting for Manav's decision ... SUCH a typical scene ...

I really love the way Chhanchhan's entire family is so supportive and so open ... Manav, a stranger to warmth and openness and honesty of relationships in his own home, has no problem in talking to Chhanchhan's family ... a contrast he saw in his first visit to their house ... the ease with which they all share their troubles and emotions ... as opposed to the silent, hidden emotions and barely hidden undercurrents in his family, underlined always by the emotion of fear and tension.

Manav-Chhanchhan scene was nice ... the first ChanMan hug, the reassurance Chhanchhan needed so desperately ... Manav bares his heart to Chhanchhan, confesses he hid the fact that Umaben was his mother ... apparently he has recognised her nature a long time back (a real pity the actor could not convey any of that) ... and he's left home for Chhanchhan.

Chhanchhan realises all this was in the heat of the moment, gives him a lecture on the importance of mothers and tells him she won't marry him. Manav is not convinced ... finally she gives in and says she will marry him ... but only with his mother's blessing.
Which seems to be impossible as of now ... as Manav points out ... but CC is not budging ... wisely so ... marrying into that family with that MIL is gonna be trouble enough, doing it stealthily is akin to showing red rag to a bull. And she promises to win over Umaben ... enough to win consent to their marriage ... though Manav is still very doubtful.

A phone call from Manav's house ... Manav is not falling for his mom's tricks any more ... CC convinces him that it might not be a case of 'cry wolf' ... from the precap, it was not ... but Umaben is now going to have a tough time convincing Manav that Chhanchhan is not Mother Teresa reincarnated ...

And from the new promo, Umaben gives consent ... but she has more tricks up her sleeve. One defeat in battle doesn't mean the war is lost.

Completely LOVED the Sarabhai family today, especially Chhanchhan's dad and Chhanchhan ... also liked the Manav-Sarabhai family scene ... loved the ChanMan scene ... can't believe I'm saying this! 😆 ... I liked the dialogues all through.

And lots of Sanaya today ... from start to finish ... good episode!!!

I have to wait a few hours before I can see the episode.
Sounds exciting, ESP With lots of Sanaya scenes its gonna ace.

ahhh Sanaya's expressive eyes.. I can write essays on those..she has the most stunning pair of crystalline eyes and they speak thousands of unnamed emotions all by its own...I can forever gaze at them trying to read every single emotion fluttering through them..

and then her father! u and me are seriously watching with the exact same eye cz i was also truly fascinated with her daddy's reaction! it was so so true! cz i dunno it is like that with my parents, mom would be more rational and sensible when it comes to me, but my usually very rational dad would fall apart if it comes to me being in a mess...it was so so realistic!! I loved his acting!! just brilliant! the entire cast from CC's family was brilliant in that scene!

ugh.. don't get me there about the undercurrents and the contrast he feels..good lord a decent actor could have brought out so much!! this character has so much potential!! and sab ke upar susu fek dia! 🤢

agree to the real pity part - ad trust me i wrote the above para before i read ur this pity line!🤢

and i agree to everything!! kash if the 'elephant in the room' which is so hard to ignore wasn't there!! 🥱

My love for Sanaya is greater than my dislike for FK ... I cannot stop watching her show 😛
Besides, I am really enjoying it these days ... I love the Sarabhai family more and more every day! I hope they don't disappear after the shaadi ... that will be terrible!

i have a whole different take...the lead guy ruining the show puts me under duress so i avoid it ...this guy spoils the whole frame ...i can't cut characters out of my frame of viewing.it needs to work in tandem

I could just imagine my dad in the same scenario ... he would go ballistic at the thought of his precious girl in trouble ... so would my husband for my daughter ... what is it with men and their daughters? 😆 That's why I loved that scene ... with CC's dad ripping at Manav ... while mom and Daadi tried to calm him down ... SO real!!! 👏

Will say more on FB ... here all I will say is I refuse to let something insignificant spoil my enjoyment of San's show ... WISH the makers would see what we mean! Manav the character has been doing well the last few episodes ... so much potential! If only ...

anyway red part the problem is it does spoil my enjoyment as a sore thumb being stuck in my face..BUT i do refuse to give up seeing her.

now I have even lost the chance to say I even watched DKS track! that was heaven compared to this!! 🥱
