Maan turned his hand into fist as he pulled himself away from her.

Geet's happiness died the moment she saw his eyes, so much full of anger and hatred. She gulped her saliva as she tried to know what happened to him. She had never seen him so much angry, not even when she shoved away his every effort. She tried to free herself from his hold as his hold got tightened on her arms. She winced while he continues to dig his fingers in her skin.

Maa'aan she moaned in pain, while he kept glaring her. after a second of struggle, maan pulled her to him and said, what.. what is all this, he said as he turned her briskly making her face laptop. Geet looked at laptop where her result was displayed, and she wondered what he is talking about.

Kya age hai tumhari, whose result is this, Ye sab kya hai geet, he said as he looked at laptop screen again. Geet gasped in shock as the reality came back to her. her result, her class 10^th result, then she looked at the result and saw the date of birth which was written on the right corner of the screen.

She immediately looked down, as she realized the reason of his anger, the reason for the hatred that's she could easily read in his eyes. But then she was happy atleast he came to know. One day she would have to tell him, and the way he was avoiding her, there were less chance she would have been able to say him directly so it was in a way better he came to know.

Why are you quite, ab kyu nhi bolti. Aise to tum chup nhi hoti, and ab mooh kyu band hai, say me dammit what is truth geet. He closed his eyes tightly, as he felt his heart burn in pain whenever his eyes fell on that date. He cupped her face, as he made her look at him, bolo na geet, kya sach hai, his voice lost all the strength, he was feeling so weak now. geet's eyes filled with tears as she said, sach hai, ye sab sach hia, till now you were living a lie, jo kabhi sach nhi ho sakta maan, she said as she removed his hands from her cheeks.

Par' he said as his hands fell on his side lifelessly while he sat down on bed, looking away from her. he replayed the day when he first saw her, her simple looks, their night calls, uska har baat pe jhagadna aur phir jhagadte jhagadte baat hi bhul jana, uska wo muskarana aur gusse me laal ho jana, wo uski sadgi, aur usme bhi uska kho jana, his eyes started blurring as he saw those images, going away, laughing at him for treasuring something which was just a pure lie, ek chalav tha.

He curled his hands in fist and hit the bed rim hard, he was trying to solve her mystery while she was mocking him all the while. She was playing with me, my feelings all this while. How can she, and most importantly how can I let her do that. He felt disgusted of himself.

Geet stood in the corner, her eyes fixed on him. Tears flew out of her eyes as her guilt ate her up. She had thought about the day every minute, every second, but never had she realized, it would be so horrible, so difficult to explain. She knew she was at fault too but she was also in pain, she was trapped too.

She gasped, as she saw him hitting his hand on bed rim forcefully. He did it again, and she winced at the sight. She ran to hold his hand as he did it again the third time. He gave her a cold look, the look that scared the hell out of her.

Kyu kia tumne aisa, why me, mere saath kyu kheli tum, he said in hoarse angry voice. Wo,,,wo' mai majbur thi' I was in dilemma too then, she said as she tried look away from him. He held her hairs into his fist, tightly pulling them roughly and said, paheliya na bhujaao mere saath, tell me everything before I lose my self-control geet, he said pulling her hairs again.

Geet winced as his hands pulled her strands roughly, dard ho rha hai, please chodo mujhe, she winced as tried to free herself. But his hold got tightened with her every struggle. Dard mujhe bhi ho rha hia, aur shayad tumse khi jyada, he said as he pushed her away, making her fall on floor.

I am 16 yrs old, just gave my 10^th board two months back. I had an elder sister Suhana who got married a month back. Life was always beautiful for me. I was an orphan, but chacha-chachi ne kabhi mom-dad ki kami nhi mehsus hone di. I don't know what exactly happened, but after dii marriage, chachi's behavior started changing, she started getting worried for small small things.

Her voice grew heavy, weak as she told him how her life changed in a single month. Tears flew uncontrollably, as she sobbed and told him everything.

But I never knew ki she was thinking of my marriage, it was when you guys approved me, then I realized ki kya ho rha tha. I talked with chachi, to refuse you all, she denied, I said I will refuse you, but she gave me her head promise, I even tried to tell diii, but she warned me then too. Maan I was trapped by her from all side to marry you.

She came to him and said, maan trust me, I never wanted to trap you but mai kya karti, maan try to understand me please. I even tried to tell you everything, kitni baar koshish ki, par kabhi mauka nhi mil paya. Please forgive me maan please, she said as she tried to hold his arm.

Maan stayed still in his place, as he heard her side of story. But instead of calming down, his anger doubled with her every world. He held bed sheet in his fist as he tried to digest her words. But the second her hand touched his, he felt fire burning in that place and immediately pushed her hand away.

Maan, she whispered as he pushed her hand away, don't you dare, he said as he pointed his forefinger on her. bhut bol li tum, ab mai bolunga. What did you said you were trapped, kasam dii thi tumhari chachi ne tumhe, daraya tha tumhe, you were forced in here. But kabhi ye socha in all this game of you both, you all used me as a pawn. What about me, unki kasam matter karti hai but the vows you took with me wo kuch nhi tumhare lie.

Do you have any slightest of idea, how I am feeling now. I am not only feeling betrayed but am feeling I had done some sin; I had destroyed a life of 16 year old. But you know what; it's you who had destroyed your life yourself. You could have easily told me everything, and this all would have stopped. 3 weeks, for god sake you had three weeks, but you just let go everything.

Tumne us aurat ki kasam par jyada vishwas kia, jis aurat ne tumhari jindagi ki parwa tak nhi kii. Wo aurat jiske eke k shabd ko tumne mana, agar aaj tum is condition me ho to uski reason wo aurat hi hai., he yelled as he held her shoulder tightly.

Geet's heart pricked as she heard his accusations. She knew he was right but he would not understand her position. It's not only he whose dreams got destroyed, mine shattered too. Would you have ever gone against your mother's head's promise? Kya aap aisa kar pate boliye.

Aap nhi kar pate. Wo jarur rishte se meri chachi thi, but I saw my mother in her. jab se hosh sambhala sirf unhi ko dekha to mai kaise na manti' she said as she fell on floor as tears flew uncontrollably.

Maan just looked at her and her questions. He looked away as she compared her so called chachi with his mother. His mother would never play with his life, and he knew that, but why can't she see that difference.

He pulled her from hand making her stand on her feet and dragged her out of the room. Geet tried to pull away but he kept pulling her and took her out. He hired an auto and asked him to take them to handa house.

Geet sat beside him still. Both were emotionally high, pain guilt, hatred all were flowing through their blood. If it would have been possible both would have changed the past, but it wasn't possible and that was the thing they cursed most.

Soon they reached handa haveli and geet was shocked to see a lock on the door. Maan saw the big lock and asked the neighbors about their whereabouts who said they had sold the house and left a week back.

Geet was shocked with that piece of information. She couldn't believe they left the house the very next day of her marriage. Her mind started revolving as she took in the information. Then suhana's words that no one was receiving the call came back and she wondered what the reason was. Kyu kia mere saath aisa, she wondered, was she a burden for them that they left the day she got married.

The strength she had left also gave away as her mind confirmed, they never loved you, you were just a responsibility. Maan came to her and smirked, parents maanti ho, that's why they left the day they pushed you away from their head. His smile mocked her, she felt all those she had treasured so long, was it fake too.

No no' it can't be, she said as she screamed, holding his shirt. Few neighbours looked at her and him, the way they were talking, gave them some wrong idea, they thought geet had cheated handa's that's why they left and mocked geet, I said shalini ki tujhe bhi suhana ke saath bhej de, but won hi maani ab barbad kardi na tune khandan ki ijjat, she mocked as she shooed away other neighbours backs to the houses.

Geet sat on the stairs of her house, not able to believe, her entire life was fake, a lie. Maan stood on his place with a smirk, but no one saw the pain that was filled in his eyes too. He felt miserable seeing her so vulnerable, those eyes which used to gleam with mischief, fill with tears now, and moreover the fact that she is just 16, a full 9-10 years difference was way too impossible to digest for him.

Not able to see her like that, he left away and took a auto, leaving her alone, on road in pain, guilt and tears. She sat there on those steps frozen, not knowing what to do now. the world seems like a jive which was consuming her and she would never be able to come out of that.
