I am sorry if you guys felt bad with the spamming banned thing. Last week turned quite hectic and I was in no position to update the next part soon, so to get myself sometime, I wrote that.

I hope you all understand my position too.

Thank you to those who liked and commented on the previous part, It really meant a lot to me.

PART 13

It was around 8 pm still maan wasn't back. Savitri had asked geet twice in the meantime about his whereabouts but every time, she had no idea. They even calmed him but his cell came switched off. Geet got worried, thinking is he angry because of those papers and hadn't come back. She started pacing the hall, looking at door in every 2 minutes for his arrival.

Clock strikes 10pm and he wasn't back yet. No news of him. Though savitri said, he must have gone with his friends to give their marriage treat, as he had mentioned once, but still a doubt was in her mind. She just hopes he comes home soon and that too in good mood. She didn't want another fight at night now, as time was running out of her hands and she needed to tell him the truth. She served dinner to her in laws, who asked her to eat too but she refused, maa abhi bhook nhi hai, her mind was already occupied with him, to think about food.

Finally at around 10:45, he entered his house, tired, drained and fully exhausted. Geet looked at his tensed form and she knew, a fight is on the way or to be precise he will shout and she will stand like a scared child. She fumbled with her dubatta, twisting and turning it in her fingers, bacha lena babaji aaj, pleaaase, she said looking upward.

Savitri too came out and looked at her tired son. Maan, aa gye bte, you look really tired today. She signaled geet to bring water for maan, geet immediately made a dash for it, not wanting to face him even.

Maan came and sat on the sofa, placing his head on head rest, and closed his eyes. Kuch nhi maa, just Mumbai jane ke liye bank se kuch papers collect karne the, so I was preparing them only, so thak gya.

Geet served him water and moved to kitchen to warm up the food and make fresh hot chapattis for him. Maan looked at geet as she made for a dash again and he knew that very second what was in her mind and it wasn't wrong too. He was damn angry and frustrated now.

But you said ki paper work is all done, na so phirse??? Her mother said as she went to her room for something. Maa, mucho mat, that's a long story. Geet peeped from the kitchen when she heard him telling about papers. Maan heard her bangles tinkling sound, and knew she was nearby and said, umm bas samajhlo koi chuha mere papers kha gya.

Geet's mouth turned O shape as she heard chuha. Mujhe, geet ko chuha bola, she thought angrily. Ab dekhna mai aur kya kya khati hu idiot singh khurana. And ha lets see ab raat me aap mujeh kuch kaise kehte ho, mai bhi kam nhi ha nhi to.

Savitri was shocked hearing him, chuha, hmare ghar me chuhe kab aye. Bte pehle btana tha, we would had caught it before he does any more loss, said savitri a little shocked as she came and sat next to maan on couch.

Maan smiled as she looked at his maan's expression, maa wo chuha kisi k bas ki baat nhi hai, she is more dangerous than anyone in the house. Savitri was getting confused with his words, while geet fumed more with his words which were loud enough to enter kitchen.

Maan looked at his mother who was getting more confused with his words, chod na maa, mai Mazak kar rha tha, aap to serious ho gye, he said and rested his head back on sofa. Savitri shook her head, at her naughty son, got knows only what he says and what he means.

She looked at maan who was resting his head on sofa, closing his eyes. Savitri pulled him by shoulder making him lay on her lap and started applying the hair oil which she brought with her. He smiled with his closed eyes as he felt the soft soothing fingers of his mother caress his hairs, applying that warm hair oil, soothing his head ache.

How do you know I was having headache, he said as he snuggled more into his mother's lap. Beta hai mera, I know you more than you know yourself. Sometimes I really wonder maan, what will happen of you when you stay away from us for so long. Aap to apne man ki baat apne saaye se bhi na khe, sometimes I really fear for you bte, she said as she pressed his forehead lightly, giving a soft massage.

Maan just hugged his mother by waist as he laid there for some time, taking in these moment which he will surely gonna miss in these years.

Geet had come to call maan for dinner when she saw that beautiful scene in front of her. maan was snuggled to his maa like a small baby while she was busy massaging his head. She so much wished she had mother too. She would have snuggled in her mother's lap too; she would have got her head massaged too. She missed shalini this very moment. She used to snuggle to her or if she wasn't there, then to suhana whenever she felt emotional or got scared alone.

A sad smile came on her face, may be if she wasn't here, she would have been on her chachi's lap too. Well that seems a dream now and that's when she realized she hadn't still told suhana about all this or did she talk with her once after her marriage. Deciding to call tomorrow, she head off to kitchen to serve the food.

At night, they both entered the room and geet was all ready to smash his head to call her chuha but she wanted him to start the fight first' hmesha mai hi khu karu jhagda shuru she thought twisting her lips. But, well her plan failed as she saw him going directly to bed, not at all giving her a glance.

Dekha babaji, phir se attitude de rhe hai, and moved to her side of the bed, facing her back to him. Well at night again, he kept seeing her after she slept. He was daily counting the days left in his leaving feeling more miserable with each passing day. He knew this gap is going to bring serious issues in this marriage, as not for once they opened themselves to each other and then this long gap would either bring a permanent dent on this relation or make it stronger as they say distance brings one closer but he really doubted the saying. And the thought itself scared him to lose her from his life.

Next day, maan was again at home, ensuring everything is proper and also to keep the papers out of geet's reach too. It took him full 7 hours to recollect the information and then assembling them and recertifying them with the high officials. And he ensured to take it in double copies if another mishap happens, he should be prepared this time.

Geet came to the room and maan immediately kept the paper back in bag. Geet gave him a glare for that but then remembered she had work from him, so looked at him nicely now. maan knew kuch to gadbad hai.

Umm wo can I take your cell phone, she said sweetly. Maan shrugged his shoulder and gave her, waise I am going to make STD call, so don't crib later, and she dashed out of the room. Maan was like when I cribbed yaar.

Geet ran to terrace and sat on the stairs as she dialed suhana's number. Suhana picked it after few rings, hello she said looking at the unknown number. Dii, kaise ho aap, she squealed. Geet, it's you, ye kaun sa number hai and itne dino se where were you, I called home too but no one picked there, she said confusion.

Geet was shocked hearing that, what does she mean ki no one is picking the call. Kha gye sab she thought, but before she could say anything, suhana said, accha ye sab chod, first tell me what is your result, kitne percentage aye, I know 90% to at least honge.

It came as a bigger shocker to geet, RESULTS, she immediately checked the date on phone and realized it's 23 may, CBSE result date. How can she forget that today her board result is coming, god in all these things, she actually forget the main thing.

Geet, you there, atleast say something yaar. Dii, umm aap rakho mai result dekh k batati hu. Ok byee. She immediately cut the call and rushed back to her room, where maan was still in his last position.

Maan please give me your laptop and dongle, jaldiii se. maan was startled to see her running inside the room and shouting with an urgency in her voice. He refused, no geet, it has important things it, I can't afford any loss in it, he said with a smirk.

Maan majak nhi' bhut urgent hai yaar, she said as she took his laptop bag and herself started the system. Maan shook his head wondering kya hua isko ab. She immediately surfed into CBSE website and entered her roll no. in it.

She waited restlessly as the site loaded her result while maan got shocked seeing her so restless looking at something on net. He peeped behind her as the site loaded the result. Geet squealed in delight as she saw her result saying 95% while maan got shocked looking at it. Didn't she had left her studies long back, then the result, and that's when his eyes fell on her details displayed in the side, which said her birth year 1997.

His body turned cold as he got the biggest shock in life, she was born in 1997, she is just 16 years old. While geet on the other side, jumped in delight and hugged the first person in front of her, maan mai pass ho gyi' yippiiiee' I scored 95% percent. He stood frozen in his place as his eyes were still fixed on that year 1998. His hands laid on his side while she hugged him tightly, in delight.

Maan turned his hand in fist as he pulled himself away from her.
