very very well written part.. ...agree with every word... I recall ,I wrote it in deep anger and frustration.. although have to say the frustration at his continued absence continues.

its been two years since MR exit from laagi ..but still the memories are fresh and hurt too...ive been following daily soaps since so many years and was well familiar with all those plastic surgery tactics when changing the leads of he show and i know it changes the whole dynamics of the show but MR's exit was something else the consequence it had not only on the show but on me as a spectator too i can never forget it...was the show my obsession..the way we were called by the colors team..if it was i am still proud of my obsession...yes warrie thanks for reminding me, how we Mishal were scoffed at by the that Sucksana guy.. from the PH team

What to say about mishal's employers the worst team ive ever seen ...and what can make you cringe even more is with a sincere and hardworking person like Mishal..i myself took acyive part in order to keep mishal in the show by posting on colors official page ...and they used to reply too...and those replies were clear indication something is not well on personal front... when they know we are their customers and by losing spectators they are surely having financial loss...but it was like somebody had made it his obsession rather to kill the show or more the character of dutta...

haan, it certainly came across as a vowed vendetta by a certain person, got really ugly and the ugliness killed the whole show after mishal left.. I rember how I CURSEDthe channel ,and yes I did unsubscribe.. why would I waste my hard earned 10,pounds a month on this ridiculous channel ,they poked fun at me...

Followed by all that negative publicity given to mishal raheja...unprofessional?huh it was the bigesset joke...im so glad his loyal fans never believed a single word ...what is the most worth mentioning thing here is Mishal's silence and the wonderful job he kept doing despite of the fact he knew he was bound to leave...im not much sure about any legal action regarding employment laws as mishal himself told his cintract was over when he left...and im so glad he left with his head held high...later the way show cllopased i think it must be enough for colors to know what they have done...just hate that channel !!!! I think, this was the one draw back that he was meant to leave as his contract ended... but it was never renewed why?is the question? plus why did he leave? did they make his life hell.. these questions we can ask till the cows come home, but no answers we will get.. but it sure does give me reason enough to say that kuch tu hoga is mishal mein, ke laagi ka forum is still functioning..thanks toLaagi dts and forum friends.

Thank you for the two final clippings of Mishal. You have tried to decipher what it was for the actor to be in the situation he found himself. And Mishal being the gentleman he is, displayed exemplary restraint and let things take its own course. I can never forget how emotional he was in one of the interviews and expressed his helplesness. He was subjected to all pressure tactics that was at their disposal yet he refused to take the bait. yes I remember ,where he turned away from the camera, to have a cry.. well nothing short.. have to say, I would have expected him to be tougher ,but I guess I was seeing hims in role..us time didn't know how to react kisi ko phoroon! I think ye colors na mishal ke elawa humien bhi pgal kar diya tha..😡

Hammie you are aware of my feelings towards these last episodes. It was the worst period as a viewer and since it was predecided his date of exit i didnt bother to check them on tv then or everafter. Only now on your thread that i decided to rest my hate for these final episodes. They bear no significance to me, im sorry to say. Everything is clouded with hate and disbelief. I mean look at the last moments of the 28th mar episode after Dutta is kidnapped i dunno how, it was laughable the entire treatment and then worse how within minutes naku the eternal devotee of Bappa not only loses her husband but also her sanity 😲. It was too much to digest, dunno to laugh or shout or shoot 😡😆 oooh barttt my heart shattered in a million pieces.you should know Icould'nt deal with any clips,vidoes of LTL1.. it used to distress me and raise my BP... WOH Tu slowly... on your thread..i saw a video from LTL1..and realized the pain was less... but bart the scar is still there, it will take time to fade.. the manner in which mishal and all of us were treated..

Even to this day i cannot forgive them for being so contemptous to the very audiences to whom they cater. I have only words of disgust to the way the channel treated the show as a whole. It was not just Mishal who was ill treated, they even butchered the show in its entirety by screwing the storyline, by introducing a non actor Aadesh/Digu the antogonist as the saviour, and overall for not having the decency in taking the audience to confidence nor apologising nor responding to their pleas. if iam not wrong PH have since the become quite heavy handed in how they deal with leads who disagree with running story lines tracks .. its like they want to show the actors whose boss.. harshad chopra.. left the show he was doing, barun sobti left his show.. and it was so bad the PH had to shut down the show recently.. however the popularity of the leads is such that the IPKKND forum is still functioning.but we are doing well humra show band hoi tu ursa ho gaye hai

OFcourse there are mechanisms in place to which one can take recourse to as an aggrieved artist but the way the industry functions it is impossible to survive to take on some of the big fish. There is this general apathy in the industry to take things for granted and flouting all rules of professionalism is routine. When the actors, technicians, staff, etc.. arent united and don't fight for their rights then they deserve to be illtreated and will continue to suffer.this is what i meant, protection and clarifications of one rights and duties within an employment which works both ways .employer/employee..

But hammie please do continue this lovely thread and i await your take on some of the earlier episodes. Forgive me if i disappoint you.

Token of love

This scene speaks of family well being. It celebrates the inclusion of one's entire family in what is termed as an arranged marriage. As luck, which clearly sides the groom and his not yet bride, would have it, there are some lovely as per usual silent messaging between them. Dutta amidst the ladies affair of selecting jewellery is without a doubt the centre of attention. His incongruous presence in this scene not only prompts raised eyes and teases out tongue in cheek amusement. Dutta despite his stiff and nonchalant exterior cannot resist the subtle pull of being the butt of the spectators humor. One has to admire Dutta's willingness to select and attempt to grace his beloved's ankle with an ornament that is clearly not meant to be what he judged it to be. But preceding the action one can clearly observe by his expression, that Dutta is not one to be cowed down if challenges are posed before him .. or that he is a dutiful son who honors his mother's request. I actually thought he wanted to make a declaration of love to Naku , even if it meant doing it the worldly way of presenting her a toofah before every one.. .He probably secretly thanked his stars that such a situation arose, as to such delicate matters a tough cookie like him seemed unaware.. so shall we say the family was behind him on this one..

This has to be one of Dutta's boldest sides.. the daring flirtatious side, his grabbing her wrist as if to make know ummh hang on a minute baaby, his whole body language including his daring proposition of we can go and talk on the terrace shows what a long way he has come to realizing the masculine desires of his nature. As much pure their relationship may be , in this clip he is a sobered yet desperate lover, who only wants to be alone with the woman he loves . the question to ask, is why does he chose this scenario when all else has gone to bed?.. his eyes that roll around to check if they were being watched, and his hush hush plea with a finger on his lip , and finally the veering her to a private space, pleasantly reveals that Dutta if afforded the chance would have been up to no good..

Visually it is a beautiful scene , one can see the mighty Dutta in the throes of wooing his lover, he as dared .. however his expressions does mirror his unease and embarrassment in dealing with such instances. He wants to be close to her, but he also wishes to be contained and therefore the justifications , we are going to be married , all he wants to do is talk to her, and then shyly presents her with a gift.. this time not on the behest of his mother but himself. His nerves take the better of him and he fumbles with a jolly inclusion , that this time he knows the difference between a payal and a necklace! and in this light moment he continues his flirting by looking closely into her eyes bumping his forehead , even though accidently and then finally almost ,very nearly feels her ankle and fastens the payal. the girl as encapsulated by his inviting gazes ,and he throws in the invite... if she wanted they could continue this meeting .. ummh further on the terrace... buttt he is clean bowled over by traditions ...

The scene will forever be remembered by me , as a one where Dutta handles a woman's ornament instead of a gun! Mishal's expressions of lingering gazes, wanting and unease,and finally succumbing to situation, is pure gold. Mahi and Mishal what a unique and fine combination...Hamlet53.. 11.1.13
