I liked Harry-Aayat's reunion way better than Samar-Akira's too. Not to mention Sonam's acting as Aayat was a few million times better than Katrina as Meera.

PK is right, the length ended up being the main flaw...a good 30-40 minutes chopped off, especially with the ridiculous climax and it would have done much better. The climax with the horse really really killed everything.

LOL, well it's not perfect at all, in fact it's perhaps just as flawed as JTHJ, but overall it connected to me a LOT more...the movie was a FAR more sincere effort than JTHJ. If anything, watch the first 45-50 minutes in Punjab...they're awesome :)

The Punjab part and the humor in it looked extremely forced! Mausam was a try hard movie!!

I have seen the film. It was good but I wouldn't just say it was the length because there were aspects of the film that raised a question mark for instance at the beginning Sonam wakes up and screams and I didn't really get that, plus the fact they kept looking for each other and separating the whole process kept repeating which was so annoying it reminded me a bit of another movie can't remember and it really dragged the film...and yeah Punjab bits in the film were amazing! Sonam was good there was improvement but still her role wasn't that big and her dialogue delivery wasn't that brilliant, of course Shahid was natural as always...and I do agree the editing could have been so much better!

I agree with Dex about the riots I didn't understand why some were included I found that irrelevant to the film IMO..I haven't seen JTHJ so can't comment.

I don't remember too well now Ruky ...but I think Sonam had a nightmare about her dad/problems in Kashmir (ie whatever horror she must have witnessed at the time there)?

The riots were all there to separate the 2 and bring them back together (though I agree, it happened too many times).
