MaHer TS - Limited Journey Part 2 (Last Part)

This TS will be a sequel of the first part and it will be based on Seher's POV.

And please take note Seher got married to Mahid when she was 21 in this FF not 16! Both characters in this FF are 5 years elder compared to the actual show. Why would I write intimacy related scene for a 16 yr old wth?! (just in case some thinks so)

Anyways the story continues.

A man is shown speaking in a public venue.

Man: We are giving the award of the best doctor in our hospital. This doctor have been in service for 3 years and she already has done a lot. She did everything she could, has the highest number of successful treatments and also helped some patients by giving them free treatment. We are blessed to have such a doctor. And that is Dr Seher Baig Niyazi.

Seher comes up to the stage and everyone claps for her. She accepts the award.

Seher: My journey to be a doctor wasn't easy. But Alhamdulillah I was lucky I got the opportunity to do so. It was possible due to some special person in my life. 8 years ago an angel entered my life and I thought he was a bad jinn. If I am here today it is all because of him!

Everyone claps for her.

Flashback,

Seher gave the exam and she is very thankful that she had such a supportive husband which is why this was possible.

Seher thinks how initially she was not happy with this marriage at all. She never wanted it to happen moreover she was really scared of Mahid especially because of his temper. But then gradually she realized Mahid actually was a good person and he was short-tempered due to his painful past. However the marriage she thought was hopeless like her parents' marriage was actually a blessing in disguise for her.

She never imagined in her dreams out of all it will be Mahid, her husband who will rekindle the dream she once gave up. She was so thankful to him. The other night when they got intimate she did not back off because he did so much for her. And she found some different sort of peace when they hugged each other. She really loved spending time with Mahid.

Just then Mahid's voice breaks her attention.

Mahid: What are you thinking?

Seher nods nothing.

Seher thought she must have done something really good to get a husband like Mahid.

Seher and Mahid went back home. At night, they both were having dinner with their family happily just then Dada Huzur gets a call. His expression changes hearing this and he keeps the phone.

Mahid: What happened Dada Huzur?

Dada Huzur: I should ask you that Mahid. Can't you control your wife?

Mahid: Can you tell me what happened?

Dada Huzur: Rizwan Miah took his son for admission test today as he wants to be a doctor. You know what they saw there?! Seher! She was giving the exam too! You don't even know what your wife is doing behind your back?!

Seher glupped and she was afraid. Giving the admission test was not the end but the start of crossing the barriers on the way to her dream. The bigger barrier was to convince her in-laws especially Dada Huzur.

Dada Huzur scolded Seher for having the guts to do so and not thinking about the family. Seher got teary eyed when he said she ruined the family's reputation. He tells Seher to leave.

As Seher was about to leave, Mahid holds her hand to stop her.

Mahid: Seher has done nothing wrong! I knew everything! I was the one who encouraged her to take the exam and pursue her dream to be a doctor!

Dada Huzur scolds Mahid for doing so and how it's forbidden for the female of this house to work. Mahid said what Seher is doing is not Haram either and her dream is to help sick people and what was wrong in that?! He even told Dada Huzur that had Seher not intervend in the picnic he won't have made it.

Mahid tells that he has no regret in supporting Seher in fulfilling her dreams as he is sure she will be a successful doctor and help a lot of people.

Seher was stunned to see the way Mahid supported her and he even raised his voice against Dada Huzur. She used to have a different perspective on marriage and husband. Husband meant practicing his rights on his wife regardless what the wife wanted. This was what she used to think. But now she saw a husband can be a support system too. She used to think Mahid was half angel and half Jinn, but he was a full angel!

Seher went to the room sadly. Mahid then came soon and apologized to her for Dada Huzur's behaviour.

Seher hugged Mahid tightly and cried.

Seher: Mahid, I didn't know you are so supportive towards me. You did so much for me! I don't even know how to thank you. I must have done something really good that Allah blessed me such a good husband like you

Mahid: (wiping her tears) Seher, it is my responsibility to keep you happy. You are my wife. I know you would have never stayed happy had you not pursued your medical dreams Moreoever your medical knowledge is really gifted, you saved Dada Huzur the other day! I couldn't have let it go to waste!

Seher: But Dada Huzur...

Mahid: Don't worry he will accept it eventually. He needs time. I won't let anything affect your dreams.

Seher trusted Mahid fully.

As days pass by, Mahid and Seher liked spending time with each other. Mahid would do everything Seher liked, for example having Malai or pizza together, going out for walks to enjoy the nature, playing with animals etc.

Only thing he was a bit bothered was her dancing and will scold her for it but Seher being Seher will ignore it.

It was the day before Seher's result. Seher was stress eating. Mahid who was praying came to her and blowed on her head after saying a dua. She looked at him.

Mahid: InshaAllah your result will be good tomorrow.

Seher: I am so lucky that I have you as my husband, Mahid.

Mahid: You are my wife, Seher. I was against this marriage initially. But your intelligence and innocence melt my heart. I admire your eyes and passion the most. I don't know what magic you have done but I have fallen deeply in love with you!

Seher gets surprised hearing those words from Mahid. It was very strong confession from his side . She didn't even know how to react. He kissed on Seher's forehead as Seher looked on confused. Words like love is very strong.

Seher gets off the flashback.

Some people were talking and just then someone mentioned.

Lady: Dr Seher I heard the reason behind your success is your husband. You got married young but with his support you managed to come till here. Where is he though?

Seher's expression changed hearing this from a smile to a frown.

Seher: We are not together anymore.

The ladies get surprised hearing this.

Seher left and she sat on a car to go back home.

She gets into a flashback of her result day 8 years ago. Her whole life changed that day!

Mahid dropped off Seher to Dr Farid's house for her result day. As Mahid had some talks in the Madrasa he could not help her hence he dropped her off.

Seher went to Dr Fareed's house. She was sitting tensed in front of the laptop and kept checking every 5 mins. And then finally the result came.

Seher closed her eyes and opened the result page. She opened her eyes slowly and saw she passed the admission test! That means she was very close to her dreams!

Seher in happiness started dancing. Dr Fareed congratulates her. He calls Kausar and Seher tells Kausar who gets very happy and emotional she tells may Allah bless her and Mahid. Just then Seher remembers she forgot to tell her husband! She calls Mahid but he isn't picking up since he was in Madrasa.

She then decides to tell Mahid once she gets home it will be better that way but he must be tensed too.

Dr Fareed tells Seher to do the next part of the admission process and she stayed back for sometime for that. It was evening and Seher decided it was time to leave.

As Seher got up she felt weak and dizzy, holding her head. As she was about to fall, Dr Fareed's wife, Dr Sultana held her.

Dr Sultana: Are you okay?

Seher nods.

Dr Fareed told her this was Kausar's daughter who sat for medical test and even passed it. Dr Sultana congratulates her and tells her maybe she didn't eat in nervousness.

Seher said on contrary she was stress eating, but still felt weak and nauseous at times, and she thought it was due to overeating and even her periods stopped too due to stress!

Dr Sultana immediately understood and took Seher to her room. She passed Seher a pregnancy kit and told her to take the test.

Seher's eyes widened seeing it. She realized it actually could be possible since she and Mahid did get intimate. She slowly took the kit and took the test. And then she saw 2 lines indicating she is pregnant. Now that there is a baby involved this could change things.

Seher came out of the washroom and she left without saying anything.

She was on her way home in the car Dr Fareed send. Seher kept thinking how would Mahid react over this and will he continue to support her for her dreams now that there was their baby too?!

Seher reached home and then she saw Mahid waiting for her.

Mahid: Seher I was waiting for so long!

Your result!?!

Seher: I passed!

Mahid gets happy and hugs her.

Mahid: MashaAllah I knew it. Now you will go medical college in few days and soon you will be a doctor.

Seher: Mahid I need to tell you something. You must know this!

Mahid: Say.

Seher: I wasn't feeling well so Dr Farid's wife told me to took a test. And I found out...I am pregnant...

Mahid gets surprised hearing this and then he hugs Seher.

Mahid: I am going to be a father?! You have no idea how happy you made me!

Seher: That's okay but admissions?!

Mahid: Forget about it Seher. You are becoming a mother. You need to give time to our baby and raise our child. Sorry but you can't go medical college anymore.

Seher: But how about the efforts I gave all these days?! You supported me so much and now suddenly you are backing off?!

Mahid: How will you handle both classes and the baby?!

Seher: I will manage.

Mahid: I don't want any compromise on my child's upbringing. You have to forget about it, I am sorry.

Seher: How could you Mahid?! I even forgot about my dreams then why did you remind me of them again? Why gave me false hopes?!

Mahid: That time it was different. Maybe you weren't meant to be a doctor.

Seher: Too late, I will go medical college. I don't care.

Mahid: Then you have to either choose between your husband or or your dreams!

Seher gets teary-eyed.

She gets of the flashback. The car stops. Seher goes back to her house.

Just then a little girl comes to Seher and hugs her.

Girl: Ammi...

Seher smiles looking at her.

Seher: Meher..

Kausar is there.

Kausar: Your daughter kept asking about you!

Meher: Ammi just like you became a doctor I want to be a pilot too!

Seher: Of course Meher you will! Promise me you will fulfill your dream no matter what it takes!

Meher: I will. Ammi I want something now.

Seher: Say.

Meher: I want to meet Abbu.

Seher gets sad and Kausar looks at her.

Seher: Let's go now then.

Meher gets ready.

Kausar: Seher are you sure about this? You want to go there?

Seher: I can't stop Meher from meeting her Abbu!

Seher and Meher both go to meet Mahid.

Flashback,

Turns out whatever Mahid said after finding out Seher's pregnancy was a dream of Seher. Seher alighted from the car and looked at the mansion.

Seher: (in her mind) It was my imagination. But what if it comes true. What if Mahid really changes his mind? Should I tell him about my pregnancy? He has all rights to know about this child.

She had to tell Mahid. He had to know about his child. She was risking her dreams. She was so confused. Without thinking Seher went to the room and there Mahid was sleeping peacefully.

She thought if she should write a letter to let him know. How will she tell him?! Then she recalled how much Mahid supported her all these days! She realized the main reason she was afraid to tell him was the fear to lose him.

Seher mustered courage and decided to tell Mahid.

Seher: Mahid I need to tell you something. I did really well in the admission test and now I can fulfil my dreams. But there is something else you must know...

Seher looks and finds Mahid in deep sleep. She had to wake him up.

Seher: Mahid...wake up!

As she touched him, she realized something was off. His body was very cold! Her eyes widened and she quickly checked his pulse. She wasn't getting his pulse.

Seher: Mahid...no...

Seher shouted for help and Tahir and Husna Fupijaan came rushing.

Seher: Something is wrong with Mahid. We must take him to the hospital right now!

Mahid is taken to hospital. Seher was crying and she was very scared. She was getting a very bad feeling about it.

The doctor came out.

Seher: Doctor..

Doctor: It is very hard to explain. This is a very rare case. Mahid had a cardiac arrest in his sleep. He passed away due to Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome . I am sorry for your loss.

Everyone cried hearing this in shock and disbelief. He was soo young! Seher fell on the ground speechless.

Just then they brought Mahid's body out. Seher went to him slowly. She hugged him and cried very loudly.

Seher: Mahid!!!!

Next day,

Mahid's Janazah happened. Seher was shattered and was not eating anything. She looked at the window like a lost soul.

Husna Fupijaan came to Seher with a plate of food and a notebook.

Husna: Seher eat something.

Seher nods no.

Husna: The doctor told me about it. Think about your unborn child. The baby is the last sign of Mahid.

Seher's tears dropped hearing this. Husna Fupijaan fed Seher and she ate it. She did it only for her child, the sign of her and Mahid together.

Husna: Seher I got this notebook from Mahid's items. He kept it for you.

Seher takes the notebook and reads it.

Seher,

When you get the notebook you will be starting a new journey, your college and your first step to be a doctor. I wish you best luck for this journey, and never let anything else come between it. If you think any situation arises that could threat your dreams, I won't let it happen. I know you are capable and talented person who can balance everything. InshaAllah you will be a successful doctor and be an inspiration to young girls and our children too. Thank you for choosing me. I love you.

Seher hugged the diary and cried a lot. She carassed her stomach.

Out of flashback

They came to the graveyard. Seher recalled her moments with Mahid as she walked

towards his grave.

She sat down and looked at his grave and prayed with Meher. Seher looked silently. Meher looked behind and said bade Dada Huzur and hugged him. Dada Huzur also came to visit his late beloved grandson's grave.

He was not the same after Mahid's death and retired and handed his responsibility to someone else but not from his family.

Dada Huzur: How are you Seher?!

Seher nods.

Meher: Can I stay with bade Dada Huzur today?!

Dada Huzur: Meher has went on Mahid completely.

Seher approves , Meher indeed went on her father. The two things Meher got from her was her eyes and her passion, the two things Mahid loved the most about Seher.

Meher goes with Dada Huzur.

Seher spent more time in the grave alone.

Seher: Mahid I became a doctor. A successful one. I helped a lot of people. I thought once I became a doctor I didnt need anything. But I lost the most valuable thing in my life. Why did you leave us?!

Seher cried.

Seher: I wish you had found out the dreams you helped me so much in, I fulfilled them. I wish you found out you were becoming a father. Meher would have gotten her father's love. And I wish I realized earlier that I love you too!

Seher hugs his grave and cries. This was their limited journey.

I am planning to write a FF on MaHer soon and it will be what if MaHer marriage didn’t happen and then there was a leap and how both characters would evolve after few years?!
