Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 grand finale: Divya Ganesh emerges winner, Sabarinathan first runner-up

After weeks of intense tasks, emotional confrontations, and high-voltage drama, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 concluded with actor Divya Ganesh crowned as the winner. The Vijay Sethupathi-hosted reality show wrapped up on a grand note, keeping viewers engaged for over three months.

Launched on October 5, 2025, the season began with 20 contestants, with four more entering later as wildcard participants. As the weeks progressed, alliances shifted, rivalries escalated, and contestants’ personalities were tested, ultimately narrowing the competition down to four finalists – Divya Ganesh, Sabarinathan, Vikkals Vikram, and Aurora Sinclair.

The grand finale saw Divya Ganesh lift the coveted Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 trophy and claim a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh. In addition, she received a brand-new Maruti Suzuki Victoris. Sabarinathan finished as the first runner-up, while Vikkals Vikram and Aurora Sinclair were declared second and third runner-ups, respectively.

The finale, which began at 6 pm, was broadcast live on Vijay Television and streamed on JioHotstar. The event generated massive viewership and saw fans actively reacting on social media.

In the days leading up to the finale, folk music artiste Gana Vinoth Kumar exited the show after reportedly choosing the money box task, securing Rs 18 lakh.

Season 9 also marked Vijay Sethupathi’s second consecutive stint as host, following his successful debut in the previous season. Before him, the show was hosted by Kamal Haasan for seven seasons since its inception in 2017.

With Divya Ganesh’s win, Season 9 concluded on a high, leaving fans reflecting on the friendships, rivalries, and unforgettable moments that made the season one of the most engaging yet.
