But Arnav had already gone'..there was a peculiar silence in the house, the quietness, that didn't feel peaceful. If anything it had so much turmoil that khushi wanted to cry and shout and vent her emotions, curse her father, her not so strong mother, to have left that defect in her. Where her fears were not letting her take a chance. .where she could not be happy.

The lack of confidence in so called love that her parents had embedded in her would never let her stay happy and the dearth of it would kill her bond with Arnav. She could not punish him for her weakness. She cared for him too much to prosecute him with sadness for his life. He will eventually start hating her and leave her. She knew. She knew that today he professed love, but tomorrow'it never came with guarantee'.at least staying like this she knows that there is a touch of what if'she would have gud memories to lead her life'..she would not see hate in Arnav' s eye'.she knows Arnav will move on'..some day????

Just then her phone pinged'..she rushed to take it' thinking that it was arnav who called her'.she fe;lt excited that he cud nt stay w/o her'she had a huge grin on her face, but the caller ID displayed AMAN'..for the first time in her life, she wished, Aman hadn't called'she wished it was someone else calling. She almost took the call'but realized her state. She was in no fit state to hold on a conversation with Aman. She could not deceive him and she would surely break down. Aware of the fact the Aman was on an important business deal, she could not jeopardize aman;s career with AR, for she was sure, if Aman sensed anything wrong, he would leave it all and come running to take up her trouble.

She disconnected the call and said to herself, if Aman can take up on my troubles, why can't I be ,matured enuf to handle them myself. I am not a coward. I will face Arnav. Will tell him what is it that's holding me back. If he loves me, he will surely understand me and we can find a way out. If after knowing me he still wants me'then we can have the relationship,'it need not be marriage'.Yes.,..i will tell him'what if he doesn't want me..?...what if he rejects me'? Well nothing doing, if he doesn't then u know u weren't a coward khuhsi, U know u gave it a chance. That u tried.

Having a final battle with herself'khushi finally decide to call Arnav'she buzzed him'.

Tring tring'.tring tring'..the phone kept on buzzing and khushi heart kept sinking with every ring that went unanswered. She prayed , begged for Arnav to answer the call'."please pick up the phone Arnav? Pls I beg u pls" but to no gain.

His phone went to the Voice mail and she heard that divine voice "Hello this is Arnav Singh raizada, am sorry I cannot take ur call as am currently busy. Kindly leave a message after the beep and I shall revert back. Bye'Beepp"

"Hello..Arnav, its me'Khushi, please answer the call'I need to speak to you'pls Arnav'"

She waited and waited but Arnav did not return his call

This side Arnav was really heart broken. He was sitting in a garden, contemplating the days event. Today he realized what the other girls must be feeling, when he would have walked out on the relationship. True he always forewarned his lady. But today the agony of the rejection or shud he say non acceptance of his love by khushi,'.gave him an insight to how cruel he must have been to the women in his life. How they must have felt'.they assumed they could have forever with him, when they were in a relationship, but here, there was no relationship with khushi, no acceptance and still the ache of not having what he desired was wrenching his heart'..he realized the pain he caused. He said sorry to each and all with a plea to forgive him and not curse him for life. He wasn't sure how he would be able to take the pain'.but take he must'.this was the justice on him apparently, His kismet, his karma'Arnav smirked, the man who never believed in fate, didn't believe in the phrase 'ur deeds follow u and catch up with u when u are most vulnerable" was today seized by these same omen. He believed in deeds today and it hurt him'Khushi hurt him'why could she not see that by denying him, she was denying herself, or by denying herself, she was denying him the chance to be happy'to explore what fate had in store.,

For the first time in his life, he had said 'I love u to ' someone, but khushi, didn't bother reacting'as if it just washed clean over her'.she rejected his feelings, she didn't trust him'how could she not'how could u not see the love I have for u khushi'how could u not'.Arnav had tears in his eyes'.He wished'.he really did'

Both of the Pained souls were sad, staying awake looking at the stars, trying to get the answers as to what went so wrong in the most crucial decision of their life.

None had sleep in their eyes. Both thinking of each other, reliving the sensuous moment in each other's arms'torturing themselves with what could have been'how it could have been, both stayed awake. One trying to make a decision, and one with dejection of having to make a final decision.

But both had one thing in common'.Both wished'.and thought WHAT IF'
