Well this Curse has confused me

I though Indra had a son and daughter

son Jayant once took the form of crow and hurt Seeta/ Ram sent a Ram ban after him. He romesd around the would for help but none helped him

ultimately he sought Ram's sharan

Lord Ram made him half blind and left hin

Also his daughter Jayanti married Shukracharya

And even Surya has children yama yamuna shani tapti and savarni

Also I think all the others deva have children

i havee heard about devta's children like jayant son of Indra , Kach son of Vrihaspati , yam,manu,yamuna and shani ..children of Surya , budh son of Chandrama...then what does this curse mean???

and also Hanumanji is Pavanputra and in mahabharat pandavas are sons of Devtas...then???

Budha was an illegitimate son of Chandrama. The curse was there wives will never get child

and its true for chandra. His wives didnt bear any children

Surya had all his children from his wives sandhya and chaya and Indra by his wife Shachi devi

Maybe they are having childrens already and after that devi gave shrap to them.

I think they only read about Chandra not having any legitimate children ( Budha was illegitmarte with Tara wife of Brihaspati) and coined this story
