Midweek: 'Raaz 3' is a monstrous hit!

Business Fetched a thunderous start, emerging Vishesh Films, Emraan Hashmi and Bipasha Basu's biggest opener to date. The film fared exceptionally well at single screens and reported excellent footfalls at multiplexes too. The opening weekend business of the film is almost at par with the Week 1 business of MURDER 2 [36.5 cr nett] and bigger than JANNAT 2 [35.55 cr nett]. Collected approx Rs 36.02 cr nett in its opening weekend. Breakup:- Thu previews 58 lacs, Fri 10.47 cr, Sat 11.18 cr, Sun *est* 13.79 cr. Extra-ordinary!

How come TA's figures are always more than the rest?

Ek Tha Tiger 4th Monday Box Office Collections

Ek Tha Tiger made way higher than the early expectations on its 4th Sunday. The Salman Khan starrer made 1.10 Crores on Sunday taking the movie's 4th weekend total to 2.20 Crores. Come Monday and Ek Tha Tiger showed a steady drop yet again. The movie made an approx 0.30 Crores as per early estimates on it's 4th Monday at the domestic box office. Ek The Tiger seems to have lost a lot of pace but still stands at a mammoth box office collection of 195.75 Crores.

The movie has also made a 50.3 Crores at the overseas box office and it's total worldwide collections as of now is 246.05 Crores.

The movie which had got predictions for tearing apart the 200 Crores barriers, it seems will fall short a few crores off the mark. Raaz 3 indeed did its share of damage to the Tiger's roar.

i mean i know he has a biased approach towards reviews but he shouldnt do hera pheri with the numbers at least 😆

^^^Seen him give atleast 5-6 crs more than other trade analysts. For Bol Bachchan he made it a 100 Cr hit even before the producers themselves. 😆

Anyways Taran or no Taran I think ETT will genuinely make atleast 200 Cr. YRF will keep the movie in theatres till that happens.

n ett is 12cr less den what TA quoted why derez such a big diff

i khow how it works

taran always exaggerated the figures of film dat release in holiday weekend...n later he fails to fix it so da diff keeps on increasing

n some other critic round up the numbers

like if ett collected sth lyk 24.35 in some day dey would make it 25 so if dey keep on rounding up the figures of each day,the diff in the end of run is would be a significant one.
