"Swayum, hurry up, we are getting late", yelled an irritated Sharon.
"Coming sweetheart, don't panic. We are on time."
And her cheeks were tinted with rose yet again. It's been three years of our wedding and she still blushes hard whenever I use those endearing words for her.
"Shit, I just love her."
"Whom?" , asked Sharon with a raised brow.
"Oh, was I loud?"
"Yes, pretty much clear Mr. Shekhawat and don't even think of hitting on someone else. I'm the only option available to you, understood."
"Gosh, she looks so breathtakingly beautiful, even with that little frown on her face."
"Swayum, you are so dead now. You are falling for some other woman now. Didn't you even think once about me? ", she ranted angrily."
Man, I was audible again and before my lady darts me another one of those infuriated looks, I need to clear the misassumption.
"Sharon, calm down. Those words were meant for you. Moreover, you can't doubt your Majnu, okay. I love you."
" Mr. Majnu Shekhawat, I guess your flirting can wait, but the students won't wait for long" , answered a still perplexed Sharon, moving towards the SDC.
"Hey listen, I wasn't flirting, I really love you Sharon", I screamed on the top of my voice, trying to stop her and to justify my innocent love for her.
A guy and a girl standing in the parking lot giggled from behind.
"See, there goes our cute professor romancing with his spouse yet again."
Sharon overheard those words. I could sniff something dreadful indeed. She graced me with a stern look while I passed over an apologetic smile to her. She took out her cell phone and started typing something. Why does the so-called technical invention supersede me so often? I guess I'm much more useful than that phone. My phone beeped with a message alert. So, there's a message from my lady. Let's see what's her take on the giggles, I silently chuckled to myself.
The message read- Swayum, be swift. I don't want these students to mock you again and ''''''''''''''...
'''''''''''''''..
'''''''''''''''..
I love you too.
I gulped hard and stared the screen in utter bewilderment. Its not everyday that Sharon says those three beautiful words to me but whenever she says, I swear, the moment becomes joyous to me. Remembering her affectionate anecdotes is always a sheer bliss.
Beep, beep, oh another message and that too from her. I opened it, expecting it to be some other surprise. It read-
Swayum, are you endorsing a toothpaste brand? Stop showing me your teeth and proceed towards the SDC.
Well, surely enough, the message didn't come as a surprise to me. I guess my woman was back in action again. Mrs. Raiprakash Shekhawat always valued work first and I respect her professional ethics.
I joined her from behind and we forged our steps in unison towards the SwaRon Dance Center. It was a world of our dancing temptations.
The day ended on quite an optimistic note. Sharon and I choreographed a couple of contemporary routines, I had a new class of specialized street dancers and eventually I bid a hasty retreat to the hectic but delightful day. Being with my love and indulging together in our shared domain of interest was perhaps one of the finest things in the world.
"So, all packed?" ,she asked awakening me from my Sharon dreams.
"Yeah, almost, you say, how was the day? Did you take the class of jazz routines?"
"Hmm, the day went fine. The new jazz learners are amazing. Tim and Kathy are doing a fabulous job indeed. Never thought those mockery makers will be so good at dance.
"Mockery makers, what's that?" I asked in a confused way.
"The students who heard you in the morning, saying''., "she stopped abruptly, slowly bit her tongue and lowered her gorgeous lashes timidly.
"Saying what Sharon?", I drew more closely to her, desperately waiting to hear those three miraculous words.
So now my husband needs memory pills haan. Alzheimer's patient, don't you think its time to be home. It isn't Mumbai, its Boston; the crowd on the roads never withdraws. Let's go, enough of your cheesy bits for now." Said Sharon, suppressing all my hopes. She was always unpredictable. The moment you think that she is coming closer, the very next minute; she surprises you with a new excuse.
"Swayum, it's seriously late now, see the clock, 10 past 20, come on and hurry up."
"Hmm", I followed her , after all, her wish was meant to be my top priority forever.

Disappointed, wasn't it too much short? I promise, I'll give the next one soon and that one would be long indeed. This is just something I scribbled at the back side of my mathematics notebook, hope, it makes some sense, fingers crossed.
