I am glad you raised this topic here! I was looking for a way to contact higher-ups on IF so that something on this can be done.
Please please for God's sake listen to us and provide us with a proper mod and a DEV team which is active 24 hours or at least on a daily basis and not just the weekend!!
We have made many threads addressing the mods and India Forums team in that forum. Almost each of the members has made threads every week since this show started. Still no action is taken and no one attends to our concerns.
Every Sunday we get whole of spam after telecast of each episode, which just repels all members and they either leave or keep PMing the mod. We are unable to find relevant threads and unable to discuss the show.
Even through the week since last 2 months we have had same old and umpteen threads bashing Aamir Khan, ranting about his pay and labeling all fans of this show as ''fools'' who are led by a movie star! Even when topics related to the show and its issues are discussed some random members deliberately come there and even post outlandish rumours on Aamir Khan's personal life, some Viewbie once even shared a rumour article on Aamir's divorce! I thought all such stuff was strictly against I-F rules! How is this being allowed on SJ forum?đ˛
Secondly, since this show discusses sensitive social issues, members sometimes tend to get personal if they disagree and start making comments on other members' upbringing, mental sanity, religion, gender or community! It is absolutely in bad taste and ruins the atmosphere of the forum, when discussions on a social issue escalate into a personal argument and ugly fight.
We have been literally begging for some regulatory action since last 2 months. The show was supposed to last only 3 months, and now just 2-3 weeks are left.It's really sad, how no action has been taken and our concerns have not been addressed even now!đ
Many active members have left the forum now and quit posting there as a result of spam, personal arguments and umpteen threads which post rumours on Aamir's salary or his personal life. This is totally uncalled for! It's lack of regulation which is causing all this. Some have also deliberately tried to start fan wars on the forum trying to compare Aamir with other actors etc. in past. What is all this? Wasn't it against I-F rules?
At least now I-F team take action! Why bother to provide a forum is it's just a haven for trolls and spammers?
The WORST thing which happens with us on SJ forum is that our threads demanding action or regulation on forums are DELETED and sometimes mod even sends us sarcastic PMs alleging we complain or that she does not have time or whatnot. Threads of active members get deleted and the troll threads are allowed to flourish!
Not a single abusive member has been warned on SJ forum, nor have silly troll threads been discouraged or locked or deleted. What is this? Why such neglect of SJ forum only?
