K: Bathing time, princess

Khushi sang picking up a rather happily kicking Ashi from her new cot.

A: All set... coast is clear... ready to begin? he declared simultaneously picking up Ashi's cloths.

K: what are you doing?

A: "uh nothing", he shrugged.

K: you seriously need therapy

A: huh as if you are very much sane

K: listen you... her sentence was left unsaid as Arnav cut her short.

A: look Khushi I've already lost half of my sanity don't force me to lose the rest of it. He said wiggling his brows.

K: Arn... (she was cut short once again)

A: shall we? He asked with a smug look

K: Huh!!

As Khushi carried Ashi into the bathroom, she began screaming and clutched onto Khushi's hair

K: aoww aoww ARNAV!! She shrieked.

Arnav ran over to her and tried his guts to loosen Ashi's hold onto Khushi but she was one stubborn kid for she never loosened her grip on her hair.

A: Ashi... baby...no...no!

But all she did was to scrunch up her face in anger,that made it damn hard for Arnav not to laugh.

As: "aap...eeemmm...aaa...brrr...babababuuiii" she scolded them in her baby language... inspite of all the torture Khushi couldn't help giggling at her innocent gesture.

Finally after ages, they caught hold of her, undressing her for her bath. Ashi was in tears now...

K: "I'll chop off my hair...", she feigned anger pulling up her hair in a lose bun.

A: no please... I really love your hair...

K: huh what?

A: "uh...nothing" he mumbled looking away embarrassed...

Arnav made Ashi sit on the bath tub's edge for Khushi to undressed her further whilst Ashi tried in vain to convince them against bathing her...

As: "agu gu bulla lala boo boo..." she pleaded making puppy faces at Arnav.

Arnav copied her actions giving her the stronger puppy-eye looks in return...

K: God! Arnav.. Ashi please stop...

She took Ashi from Arnav and gently placed her inside the bath tub... The moment water touched Ashi's bare skin, she yelled in animosity, "boooiii ACHU!! ACHI!! AAA!! BAbababa Laaa.. bammm."

K: Shh.. shh... Ashi baby don't scream...

But Ashi didn't listen to her... She threw her arms frantically... sloshing water out of the tub, drenching Arnav and Khushi...

She almost danced her arms and legs wildly as she cried out loud...

Khushi somehow managed to shampoo her hair and soap her tiny body picking her up eventually as she finished bathing her.

Arnav quickly wrapped her in her pink towel and ran out into the room...

They shot helpless looks to one another as Ashi showered series of tawny slaps on Arnav's cheek in anger.

Arnav gently put her on the bed and dried her up...

After what felt like centuries rather 15 minutes Ashi was all dried up, neat and clean, wearing her favourite set of yellow baby-jumper ...

She was ecstatic and was blabbering on her own...

A: Khushi you should freshen up for the day too while I look after her...

K: Dry up your self first... or else you'd be sneezing your head off...

A: "Not to worry about that" he removed his t-shirt as he replied her back, tossing it into the laundry bag...

Khushi couldn't help but stare wide eyed at his perfectly chiselled, masculine shape... He was dreamy

K: "w-o-w...!" she gaped mentally at the stunning sight before her...

A: "Ahem!..."

She snapped out of her trans as Arnav cleared his throat...

K: "huh! What?"

A: well, I know I'm handsome an' all. but.. um.. you know it feels uncomfortably weird if someone stares like that..." he smirked

K: "Don't be so pathetically self obsessed Arnav" she left the room ranting nervously..

A: "your masi is weird...ain't she?" he asked Ashi, smiling as he sat down on the floor with her...

A: "what the...!", he exclaimed frustrated seeing the number of people lined up in doctor's chamber...

K: Arnav!... she glared at him...

A: sorry...

Khushi was holding Ashi on her head resting on her shoulder.

Arnav went to the receptionist to check with her about their turn. The receptionist had asked him to wait for 15 more minutes.

Arnav went over to Khushi, who held happily sleeping Ashi, he pecked on Ashi's cheek as he sat down...

Few moments later a lady who was dearly holding a child not more than 3 years of age, came out of the doctor's cabin... The kid was literally howling.

The moment the other kids in the chamber saw her... they followed suit and Ashi was no exception, she had woken up from all the howling and started off with it as if following some mantras...

Arnav and Khushi tried in vain to quieten her down but she didn't stop.

Fifteen Minutes Later,

Arnav and Khushi entered the doctor's cabin with Ashi...

Khushi put Ashi down on the bed eventually moving away and stood beside Arnav who was standing opposite the doctor.

Doc began with his examining little Ashi and finally took out a syringe and a small bottle of vaccine.

Arnav's eyes widened as the doctor pushed the sterilized needle into the bottle, drawing out a certain amount of liquid from it...

Ashi's lips started quivering at the sight of needle, Arnav's jaws tightened.

The nurse applied some spirit on Ashi's arm and held onto it tightly.

The doctor finally plunged gently the needle into Ashi's hand and Ashi started crying...

Arnav's anger shot up 3 levels... moment the doctor pulled out the needle form Ashi's arm and handed it over to the nurse...

Arnav literally yelled, "what the hell...how dare you doctor what so ever..."

Doc: "excuse me?" he shot a questioning look up at him...

Arnav's voice had literally shook him.

Khushi was too shocked to utter anything and Ashi was very happy that her chachu was mad at the devil doctor.

Doc: "Mrs. Raizada, please control your husband..." he politely but with a straight face requested her as he saw Arnav moving towards him...

Khushi finally spoke up, "Arnav...STOP..."

Arnav paused to look at her...

K: "Write whatever you want to, fast"... she pleaded with the doctor, "I'll take him out..."

The doctor scribbled the next vaccination date on a paper and handed it to Khushi... she almost snatched it from slightly shaking hands of the doctor, no matter how calm he tried to look Khushi knew, the doctor was disturbed with his behaviour. Apologising to the doctor, she soon followed Arnav, who had stormed out of the cabin with Ashi.

K: "is that a way to behave with your child's doctor?" she scoffed at him.

A: "but he made Ashi cry..." he retorted sheepishly, as he changed the gear and took a left turn.

K: "That's his job Arnav!"

A: "to make Ashi cry?" he asked with a confused look on his face.

K: "no, vaccination...dumbo" she spat in frustration...

A: "I said sorry na..." he made a puppy face at her which made Khushi forget her anger and smile at him.

K: "fine for now but dare you repeat the same thing again..."

A: "promise..."

K: okay... I need to work today... she said smiling through her lips

A: so do i...

K: what about Ashi then?

A: buaji's place I guess...

K: hmm...

A: "let's get her food and stuff from home then..."

K: "yeah we never end up at home on time... it's better to be on the safe side..."

A: "hmm..."
