Congratulations to all for making our last Dragon Club thread a real superhit with over 12,000 views and more than 50 pages in less than 24 hours time just like AarYa's superhit Suhaagraat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have high hopes for meaningful Yash Aarti conversation today but the cvs are unpredictable.

Today's episode was a total contrast to yesterday. It was quiet, calm, deliberate and suggestive and I think the perfect balance to all of yesterday's action. Today was all about sounds and silences between Aarti and Yash. There were hardly any dialogues but somehow they were communicating with each other all through out the episode.

I loved the juxtaposition of the three married couples. One young and fresh, one matured and experienced and one anomaly where they were both newlywed and not.

I loved the first scene where each Yash and Aarti are having a discourse with their respective pasts. For Aarti, her trigger is the wind chime which reminds her strongly of Prashant's desertion and the trauma she faced. Similarly, Yash on the other side is meeting his past, reliving a moment with Arpita when he realised that nobody would be able to take her place in his life. What was interesting about this flashback, among many other things, is the fact that it was sort of triggered by Aarti's presence. Suddenly Arpita's words had a new meaning because he did have a new partner. So in the subtlest way possible, Aarti has entered his memories and his space with Arpita.

And that directly leads into his awareness of Aarti in the present. He realises she is anxious and asks her why. This was again a change because it was not some external force that made him snap out of Arpita's memory but the memory itself and the suggestions it made regarding Aarti's role in his life. Progress, people!

And we see that the first conversation between the two of them happens because of the kids, which is perfectly natural. Aarti does not have the courage or feel it is the right time to bring up her divorce truth perhaps so she brings up the next thing in her line of worries, Ansh. Also the memory was edited to focus on the part with Ansh and her begging Prashant not to leave him. Prashant then says that there is someone for her...and she sort of opens her eyes to Yash. Even though he might not be "for her" in the traditional sense just yet, he is perfect in her eyes at this moment because he is asking and giving her exactly what she wants to give and take from this relationship.

The next trigger comes for Yash in the form of Arpitas kangan, which makes a noise when Aarti is trying to open her suitcase. Of course there was symbolism here and this is my take on it. I think that that suitcase represented Aarti settling into her life with Yash because she needed to open her suitcase to do that. Until that suitcase was opened, she was an outsider in Yash's life, an impostor who was trying to take Arpita's place (as shown by the bangles' sound). When Yash comes towards her she thinks that he is coming to reclaim Arpita but in fact he is coming to help her become a part of this room and his life by allowing her suitcase to be opened. This was something only Yash could do as without his permission she could not enter his life.

Aarti is afraid of stepping on Yash's toes when it comes to Arpita as she has been foisted with everything from her name to her kangan. But she underestimates Yash once again because he is such a keen reader of situations, he knows that none of this has been her fault, that she has no intention of taking Arpita's place (especially after the hand print incident). It is that sentiment that matters most to him, not the question of a physical kangan. As long as people have respect for her identity, he does not mind about the objects.

Ah and that gentle touch to stop her and take the key from her gave me shivers. Yash does not speak but his touch says so much more. He is truly a man of action.

Ah! here comes the bathroom again to establish their soul connection! 😆 What telepathy Yash has where even without looking at her he can tell what she needs. I guess it could be logic too, but whhy kill the magic? Guys! It's the same bathroom and the same door from the promo. When Aarti was locking the door and it made the same sound as in the promo, I nearly died from the thrill of that association! ☺️😃

Pratik and Paridhi were SO adorable! I loved the way she made his dream come true, but in her own style. This is what is going to be the strong point of their relationship. When they can compromise and both be happy. But what happens when Prateek's "sapne" go too far and he is not happy with Paridhi's way of doing things is still an elephant in the room. But the sharmaana scene was too cute and hilarious! Those two are adorable!

I even thought the scene with the dinosaur Scindias was a good one. They too are a married couple at a very different stage in their lives. For all the craziness in their relationship, today they could sit together and share their joys and their worries. It was kind of sweet, except Papa Scindia ruined it with his blatant remarks about how much his son needs to get laid. 😕 What is with this Scindia men?? It looks like Prateek bilkul apne papa par gaya hain! These epople all have good intentions but they are being impatient for all this to happen now and by the sole effort of Aarti. Thank god she married one of the saner Scindias who will be understanding and help her along the way!

Today was also a slow moving episode ... but by now, I think all of us have learnt to go with the flow of what is happening on screen instead of expecting a different speed of action.

If only I had a sleeping version of this icon. Ansh, Payal and Palak all sleeping together. Awww! Does anyone else think that whenever they finally get to the next morning and the children are awake, that this sleeping in the same room is going to lead to some sort of altercation between the three kids?

Anyway, so I'm sure that everyone else will have lots of analysis on the rest of the episode, so I only want to focus on one question I have. I'm trying to figure out what is the CV's purpose behind the constant reiteration that Yash can never give Arpita's place to someone else. I have several ideas about what they might be trying to do, but I'd also like to hear other thoughts. The reason that this is standing out from all the things in the epi is because it was included in a new flashback of Arpita, it was of their second honeymoon, and it wasn't just Yash who said it, but Arpita also. The amount of emphasis on this issue really makes me curious about what the CV's motives are.

My first idea is that maybe the CV's are trying to keep up the suspense with the audience about whether Aarti will ever get Yash's love when he cares so much for Arpita. Along with that, they may be trying to keep new viewers aware of the different challenges ahead for this new relationship.

Another possible reason is that within the story, they want Yash to emphasize this to himself repeatedly, so that they have a good justification about why he feels guilty when he begins to have deeper feelings for Aarti. (This idea has already been mentioned by many members, and while I'm sure it is something that will crop up, to me it's too obvious to be the only reason.)

Is is possible that the CVs are trying to show that love does not need to be finite? That Yash can feel such a deep love for Arpita, but that now she is gone, it is alright for him to also love Aarti, and how he comes to that realization. To be honest, Yash assuming that because he loves Arpita so much, that means he can never love anyone else is, while not necessarily immature view of love, it is a somewhat narrow view of the emotion.

The contrasts between Aarti and Prashant's relationship compare to Yash and Arpita is obvious, but I wonder if in the future the CVs intend to draw a contrast between Yash and Arpita's love for each other. In every flasback we have had, it has always been about how no one can take Arpita's place in Yash's life, but they never show Arpita saying the same thing to or about Yash. I do think that Arpita loved Yash, but was her love for him the same as his love for her?

Those are all of the possible reasons that I can come up with, and I feel that the CVs likely intend to show many of these things. I am just interested to see if anyone has any other thoughts or a different perspective than I do.
