Hi All,

The members who had been reading the previous REDUX would have been knowing how we were longing for the track to proceed and not take detours into Comedy , how we wanted Shyam to come back into the triangle , how we wanted the intensity to increase , How the Cv's have to turn the track on its keel and bring the story forward instead of OTT's ...Today we had a glimpse of the corrective measure's..Today's episode should have come about right after Shyam started making his bold advances, the tension would have been maintained, the grip wuld have been firm ..Buh...Ohh Never Mind..Better late than Never !!

The first five mins looked as if a school play was going on...When u were beginning to think that the show has touched its Nadir with its innumerable fashion shows, dances ...There was a quick reversal , in one stroke the canvas turned Grey and foreboding ..Now they have to increase the darkness before Light can break in, Hope they stick to it and not indulge in diversions * Keeping my fingers crossed**

The Arnavification of Khushi ... It is said that when we become true pairs... we slowly begin to be the mirror images of our partner, absorbing our partner's traits, imbibing their mannerisms giving it our own touches , making it easier for us to handle when our partner goes off tangent or when we need understanding as to why our Partner said so ...Khushi has slowly begun to embrace Arnav's mannerisms..be it the BT or the what Tha ... to day we also saw how she has begun to anticipate his reactions .. expect his movements ... This will help her while decoding the enigma named Arnav Singh Raizada and To the credit of Arnav Singh Raizada...the gentle man has actually begun to calm down... He is no more shouting, Samjhi Tum nor is he talking about his Aukat ...There is a restraint in his speech not in his actions though.. the reprimand is quieter,subdued and not hurting...

Khushi a girl who firmly believes in letting bygones be bygones, A girl who always has a smile in her face, A girl who always begins her day with a fresh slate now finds herself frustrated, thwarted, stymied by the actions of Arnav Singh Raizada..A Girl who used to shrug off even the most humiliating and ruthless acts of his , A girl who never gave a thought to his unkindness has now begun to boil...Why is that ?? Arnav was the same man back then , in fact worse so why is his words and actions hurtful now... why has the magnitude of pain increased now ...is it bec , Khushi has finally found her soul mate , she has recognized her partner in him and longs for acceptance from him or is it her deep rooted insecurities playing on her psyche, desperately seeking refuge , seeking shelter , seeking a heart which accepts her for herself and not for what she can bring to the relationship or is it aversion of deceiving their family , betraying their trust or is it all of the above...Somehow I think it is all of these...How will these factors play on her mind, how will she react ?? what will be the consequences ?? ..will the fallout be limited to the immediate vicinity of Arnav or will it extend to Anjali or will the net become wider engulfing both the family laying waste the carefully built relations...The Holi sequence did indicate so ..

the confrontation scene between Arnav and Khushi has begun to throb with unspoken tension, unresolved conflict.. Both are engaged in a belligerent confrontation , the stated reason being the contest prize but both are not fooled by this ruse since they are aware that the real reason for the clash lies somewhere ..Khushi is all for tackling it head on but she has met an able match in Arnav who blocks her tackles effectively , for how long...Already that tight control has begun to wear thin, it is sapping his mental fortitude..he is a man tormented by his heart , Love and disgust in equal measure , he is fighting her but is getting noticeably exhausted ..one of these days , she will touch Goal Post but is she ready to face the force of that impact ??

Shyam finally remembers that he has a obsession on Khushi..He immediately sets about amending this lapse ..Doods has said previously that Arnav is an opportunity Grabber ..It is my feeling that not just Arnav , Shyam is a opportunist too, A guy who can turn a chink into national highway ...It is always my belief that Shyam is the polished version of Arnav sans conscience , today he showed it .. His wife is giddi and nauseous .. Any concerned husband would have asked Khushi to stay with Anjali and would have gone to the chemist himself but not the opportunity grabber Shyam, who uses his wife's ill health for his own benefit, gets the girl to be with him and starts his subtle game of leching implying that she is his wife and that he loves her making her uncomfortable in the process but Khushi will not let this impression stay, she immediately quashes his assertion with a well aimed barb , deflating him for a second ...but she has left her handkerchief on the counter which now is in the possession of Shyam...How will Shyam play it?? Will he use this as to taunt Arnav , to drive the wedge between them , to convince Arnav that Khushi does love him ..Will he awaken the OTHELLO in Arnav , may be!

SCENES I LIKED ;

Arnav standing by Payal when the whole family had surrounded Maami...An augury that Arnav will be the one who will set things right, be there for her and stand by her when time of reckoning comes...It is also a beautiful gesture of acceptance...Payal has been accepted by the boss and is his own family..He will stand guard and will not allow her to shed any tears ...It also shows how Arnav has changed ..The man who never gave a damn about family council and was always aloof now finds himself consoling a teary Payal and uniting her with her husband ..while he stands alone and aloof from the family..

Anjali coming into the Green room , straightening the ensnared duppatta of Khushi ... This happening so soon after confrontation leaves room for two interpretations..One ..Anjali will set Khushi right about Arnav, lay the inner working of Arnav bare to Khushi, make her realize that what makes Arnav tick ..leading to better understanding ..

The other is Anjali will be the reason where Khushi will have to separate from Arnav, The ties bonded in haste bec of Anjali will be unsnarled by Anjali who will set Khushi free but her fragile health will keep Khushi in place ...

BAKWAS

What a ridiculous reason to decline the gift...Payal sabotages her parody bec a contestant pleads with her, Khushi refuses to take it bec she supports her sister...Pray tell how will that ensure that the prize money will end up in Veena's kitty..weren't there other contender's who could have easily won ??

Anjali urges Khushi to go with Shyam to the chemist since Shyam does not know the area ...Errmmm,,isn't Khushii a Lucknow Girl..how is she so well versed in the by lanes of Delhi and knows where to get everything ..

Well , Why couldn't Khushi just give directions to Shyam and suggest shyam that he can call up if he lost the way ..Since Khushi was ready to go all by herself...it obviously was not far !!

Looking at the brighter side ..If Veena were to come and heap praises on the Gupta Sisters ..and if this contradictory signals were to increase then Arnav has no other option but to rethink his appraisal of Khushi leading him to the discovery of truth .

With this episode , the official trip into hell has begun for both Arnav and Khushi ..the upcoming days, I am hoping that this hellish journey intensifies and does not begin to stall or heaven forbid totally change course and turn comic ...

A Special Mention to Uttkarsha Naik for her acting and an applause for Abhaas for keeping his acting simple...Again Barun's eyes are looking tired ..Give him rest !! ...

Tant, what a BRILLIANT Header. "OO-THA-HELL-O", now this is what I call "Ingenuity". No matter how many people copy Redux, our analysis, our header, the appropriate heading that you give to each episode, no one can ever think of such Title to an episode. This is where we win. This is where Redux is "Positioned". Absolutely Brilliant. This is why, I have coined the term TANTASTIC. 👏 👏 👏

Before I start getting into today's episode, I want to mention that I know both PH and Star will bring out a promo on the track. Don't you DARE use a full confession from Khushi to Arnav??? She only needs to BLURT out some "Necessary Hints" just so that Arnav can start "Connecting the dots" and realize the "Fishiness" in the Shyaam-Khushi business and his lack of understanding Khushi here. That's it. This is the leads we are talking about and don't even try to get into full confession track just to counterattack IPL and garner TRPs here. Period.

No today's episode was not about "Arnav - Khushi Equation" as that is established already. Today's episode is about post establishment. Today's episode is all about "Battle Field". Today's episode is all about the "Triangle". But I will not talk about the triangle right now as I have to talk about something else before and a much more important issue.

Let's have a chat with Star Plus and 4 Lions first. Shall we??? So, have you heard the term called "Poetic Justice"??? I guess you have. It is exactly a month back in the episode where Shyaam Manohar Jha volunteers to drop Khushi at GH when she wanted to know the reason of "Chot" that Arnav mentioned in their confrontation after the "Pag Phere" ritual. I am talking about the episode aired on Mar 6^th, just a month back. Remember??? Yes, that very day I deisgned the "Triangle" and explained the SWOT Analysis. I don't forget. Now, I want you to think in this exactly one month what have you done. Well let me have a recap. Firstly, it was the fake 2 hr threat, secondly, it was this period you have started the "Fancy Dress competition" preparation, thirdly, it was the period they had Holi celebrations, it was this period you wasted a week on Khushi's OTT behavior, it was this period you had to spend a week to rectify the damage already done. The only good thing was done is "Arnav-Khushi Equation" that's been built which could have done a month back.

Now tell me honestly, how much progress the story did make within this time period??? A little bit, lots or an iota??? Where does the villain lie before and after??? What happened to the growth and stance of other characters before and after??? Their growth is stagnant right??? Of course it will be. What you think??? You have earned a distinction??? Today you are waking up from a sleep and thinking that IPL is breathing over our shoulder??? Seriously??? I, Doodle, who have absolutely no connection with Star Plus and 4 Lions sitting overseas can think and design a triangle based on one 20 min episode a month back and you working on a project, which is your bread and butter, which tells your success story and helps to elevate your profile, is designing a track where the villain decides to change his inner soul kicking his bank balance and proves the audience that a certain person can change his characteristics overnight. BRAVO. You designed that one of the main leads will be OTT for a week just for fun; then you proved 2 persons who have consumed bhaang can have different affects of the same. One will have selective amnesia and the other will completely forget the same. How convenient story line??? Isn't it??? Well when you designed this story line forward, did you ever, ever, take into consideration that in just a month's time IPL is going to start??? An event of a sport that is considered a "Religion" in India, a sport about which no matter how many people say they are bored of excessive matches still will watch it and discuss it and bet on it and will be mad over it completely; sex and ages doesn't matter as it never mattered here. Period.I do not blame the CVs here, I do not blame the script writers here, I do not blame the Art director here, I do not blame the Director here, BUT I blame the superiors of 4 Lions and Star Plus.

I'll tell you, when I started my career my Boss /Mentor taught me "The Most" valuable lesson of my life - "Always be proactive and never be reactive". Now, let me show you your Strategic Brains. Any company is run by the head honcho. The company's values and success depends on the head of the organization, the person who spearheads a project is the decision maker in everything; the superior is accountable to think ahead. It was the heads of both Star Plus and 4 Lions' duty think that what the strengths and weaknesses of IPKKND and what will be the threats when IPL will start. Did you think??? NO. Let me tell you what you were thinking 2 months back. Star Plus head knew he have to deliver his so called "Star Parivaar" Awards with finesse and for that he needed all the production houses' support; So the collective decision was made that the story line to be weaved in such a way so as the actors can be used for Star Parivaar awards and make it a grand success. Am I right??? Of course I am.

Now let me come to the thought process of the production house. 4 Lions knows this pretty well that the "Trump Card" of their story line is the "Three Cs".

1. Clearance of Mis-understanding

2. Confrontation of the 3 leads, one by one and

3. Confession of Arnav and Khushi.

Am I right??? You bet I am. So, both Star and PH thought that after SP awards are over, you have another 2 weeks of time as latency to pass the week and then IPL will start. Now, that is a "Threat". Right??? So, here goes your strategy. Both the superiors have decided to beat the IPL craze and keep the TRP on track, it's better to use the "Trump Card" of IPKKND. You decided to use your STRENGTH to tackle the THREAT. Am I right??? You bet I am. Now, this was your strategy, isn't it?? Did it work??? Of course not. Why will it be??? You are changing the basic theory of "SWOT Analysis". Your TRP says it all. How big fool you must be to think you can tackle the IPL craze with the MU drama??? In the first place, to tackle the IPL craze with your MU drma you need viewers and that you have lost already, a major chunk. Even the Bollywood movie makers don't take the "RISK" of releasing their "Movies" during IPL and you decided to release your "TRUMP CARD" and thought people are waiting for this since ages and so you will get TRPs based on that. I mean how one sided and BLOCKED thinking??? Have you any idea that during this time period not only your's but everyone's TRPs will be affected and people will be more interested in knowing whether Mumbai won or Delhi lost or Chennai won or Kolkata lost??? Even the women will be more interested in the game than the tricks of Shyaam Manohar Jha and Arnav-Khushi fights. Forget about the audience your entire cast and crew will be discussing the same thing in the sets and offices. How one sided thinking you have??? Did you not realize that within this time period you have lost so many viewerships??? The TRP came down to 3.47 and it will not be up till IPL is over.This is your forsighedness??? This is your "GIFT" to the loyal viewers of IPKKND who will have to tackle with their family to watch the serial at 8pm which is exactly the time 2^nd match of the day of IPL will start??? WOW.

What a GIFT to the loyal viewers of 10 months who were by your side think and think all the time; who had put up with the fiasco of "Farak Padta hain" track; who had been by your side with the "Comedy Track" before the wedding track; who were by your side when the preparation of your Star Parivaar Awards were taking place and they had to bear the mindless comedy tracks. Seriously, I have never realized that heads of any Organization can be so "SELFISH" who only thinks about his/her own profit and not the audience.

Nissar is "Creative Genius" but he DOESN'T have an iota of strategic brain. I don't know Gul and RC but as I have seen Nissar's work, I can say he is good at art but not in business. To run a business you need FOCUS and you need to design the "Road Ahead" strategically. Yes, you could have shown this "Triangle" which you have started today 2/3 weeks back and then by this time the story would have moved ahead and the parallel tracks could run but still the confession would have slowed down and could work towards the "Truth" revelation in front of the family slowly slowly. People's interest would have been there and you would not have lost the major chunk of frustrated viewers and could have tackled the IPL craze too. But, No. You have one sided thinking and I don't blame the Creative Team and other departments here. They are doing what they are told to but the fault is majorly of the SUPERIORS' of both Star Plus and 4 Lions here.

I'll give you a real example on how the Strategic Brain of a Channel should work. Star Plus is a Rupert Murdoch company, right??? Same as Fox, a Rupert Murdoch company. There is one long running seasonal show in US that runs on Fox, is called "House". My the Fav show. No, I will not describe the show here but I will tell you the strategic brain of Fox Head. When Hugh Laurie, producer and Actor of House informed Fox, he is thinking of calling it an end, you know what is the decision he took??? No, it was not in the newspaper or not in the any magazine that came to public, but most of the times "Actions speak louder than words". House generally airs in Spring and Fall seasons and last year in 2011 the new episodes aired in Fall, also aired in parts in Winter and the final season is airing now in Spring. You have any idea why??? I'm telling you, not because of Hugh Laurie's decision, but because of the brilliant "proactive" thinking of Mr. Rice and Mr. Kelly, if I am not wrong then they are currently heading Fox at LA.

If they were not contuning to air House from Fall to Spring then the final season would have been aired in August-September. Now, tell me what is there in Aug and Sep??? Didn't know right??? It's the "OLYMPICS"; and Olympics in USA is pretty important like Cricket in India. It's their strength to win pots of gold showcasing their winning streak. That time all around the country there will be one talk and that's Olympics. Hence, NOT to lose any loyal House viewers they are specially airing "House's Final Season" these two months. Now realize how a Strategic Brain works??? What should be the Vision and to attain that Vision what should the Missions be??? Do you think it over??? I guess No. That's why you have damaged the plot in the last month and wasted all your audience's precious time last one month. The one thing Star knows is, if it doesn't work "Axe" the show and that time 4 Lions will have to rush the track in 15 days notice and you will not even show any sympathy to 4 Lions who had supported and had abide by your approval with silence sabotaging their own storyline up. I really Bow down at the shortsightedness of the Honcho here of Star Plus. God save me, he/she should never be my Boss. They should have known "Always think globally and act locally".

Coming to today's episode, well all you have already predicted and as Tant described completely that the "Triangle" theory has started it's game. Both Arnav and Shyaam, who was missing is back and now the only player who wasn't in the game is IN. Yes, she is our "Khushi" who shuld have been a month back when I designed it but chalo, it's better late than never.

Therez nothing much to write about today's episode as I have already mentioned all the 3 players and their expected game plan a variety of times. There are couple of points that I will mention today and tomorrow I will talk about the Triangle in detail including today's episode as today I had to talk about other issues and Promo a bit.

1. Refer to my analysis of Mar 30^th, where I said, it will be Arnav who will convince Aakash of Khushi and Payal's action when the truth will be out. At the same time, I said, strengthening of Arnav-Payal relationship. Today, we saw a glimpse what will happen in future when Arnav was with Aakash and Payal.

2. Then again, refer to my earlier analysis where I said "Payal brings them together and Anjali will never let them be apart" - again today, because of Payal, they had a fight and Arnav spilled the "Ehsaan" which I explained as "Importance" remember??? This have brought them mentally a bit closer and then Anjali helped them to be together. How??? Because of her Shyaam is accompanying Khushi and Arnav's confusion on the MU will be stronger when he'll notice "Khushi-Shyaam equation", not yet as of but slowly slowly it will be clearer to Arnav.

3. Anjali-Shyaam:- Again we saw wife and husband helping eachother and the irony is they both are heading towards the same "Focal Point" but from opposite directions.

4. Again, Payal and Khushi's righteousness will be out in the open when the "Money Issue" of the other participant will come in the picture which the Maami and Naani will support and will lead to better Maami-Payal bonding. No, it will not be a massacre but the Bonding will be stronger more.

5. Khushi had begun to realize therez more to it and she will start thinking on those lines. Both with Arnav and Shyaam and this will lead to the big "Terrace Confrontation" which Arnav will witness.

6. Then Anajli - Khushi scene proved me right in my theory of Khushi leaving Arnav because of Anjali and Arnav will let her go tis time.

Like I said earlier, "Shyaam trapped Khushi and Guptas" will be her saving grace against "Lover Arnav" but at the same time "hiding the truth from Anjali" will be her losing the battle from "Brother Arnav"; and at the end it will be a tussle between brotherly love and husbandly love for the mighty Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada.

This hell of a ride I was waiting since a month and today the journey has started. Let's see how they play it out.

@ Sathya, your analysis was amazing as always. Here's my two cents for what its worth. As you said, the beginning 5 mins of the show were atrocious, the only thing I liked in them was Arnav's exasperated expressions. His expressions after each pathetic act mirrored mine. Do I really have to taalerate this naansense?!?!?!? Payalia's utterly blank expressions did little to alleviate my mood. Her refusal to act and stand like a statue seemed so darn pathetic it is better left unsaid. My heart really went out to Mamiji for a change. My full sympathies with her for a totally useless DIL. 😡 For the first time I didn't mind seeing the Raizada family placate mamiji. Arnav lending his hanky to Payal was very nice, they sure have developed a quiet support system for each other unknown to the rest of the family. Will this bear some fruit in the future, remains to be seen.

Moving on, Khushi turning down the award & prize money of 5 Lakhs!! was a little stretch. Not sure whether it was truly for the reasons Payal gave or did she really have a reason not to share the award with her un-cooperating husband. How does his helping her at the last minute make him a "dhokebaaz" is completely beyond me???😕

But was mighty glad to see her not to cower down to Arnie later in the green room. It is clear Arnav was hurt at her refusal to share the award with him, but since these two are now down to fighting like kids, their fights to me are completely meaningless IMO. You won't tell me, so I won't tell you either. Rather naive IMO. I am fed up with this childish behavior by the leads, high time we get to see them fight like adults. Argue over real issues and real problems. But I guess that would be asking for too much.

The whole Anjali-Khushi-Shyam scenario was pretty lame. Why does a grown up man need a lady to escort him to give him directions?? Why can't Khushi give directions on piece of paper? Leave aside the fact that Khushi isn't form Delhi but from Lukhnow, so how does she know the area which is far from their homes so well??

Shyam was back today for sure, liked the whole drugstore scene. Khushi putting Shyamwa in place was good, but the guy has a thick skin for sure.

Hope the precap has some use, otherwise, what's the point in creating more MUs?? Arnav's refusal to talk isn't going down well with Khushi & me. I so want to see him blow his top at Khushi tomorrow, hopefully, the SBS/IBN seggie they showed, had some meaningful stuff, otherwise, meaningless fights are just as painful to watch as meaningless comedy, hope the CVs realize that.

Random Thoughts:

1) Arnav's phone's battery had died down in yesterday's episode hence he couldn't call for a cab, so how does it suddenly start working for him to make two calls today??

2) What's up with Anjali refusing to share her health concerns with her brother or rest of the family, she's preggers for God's sake!! Just a convenient reason to send Khushi with Shyam??

Great analysis Sathya! When I first watched this episode earlier, I hated it. It was frustrating to watch but as I look back, it is not as bad as originally thought. It was only yesterday we talked about Shyam being out of character and things not seeming right well the CVs set out to fix that today.

Like you said, he is an opportunist and used the first chance he got to take advantage of the situation. Though a poorly written plot to get them together, it worked in terms of getting things back on track. It makes perfect sense why Shyam would strike now after seeing their performance, he knows they were getting close again and that is the last thing he wants to happen as he knows that means doom for him.

The part with Payal losing on purpose and Khushi refusing her award was ridiculous to say the least, made no sense whatsoever.

I noticed the scene with Anjali and Khushi and knew there had to be symbolism behind this.

Really liked the confrontation with Arnav and Khushi, it was short but intense. Khushi really has learnt to anticipate his every move, she knew how he would react and he did just that. I noticed Arnav has calmed down too, sure he still got upset and threw the clothes in anger but there was a change in the tone of voice he used here.

Liked the scene with Arnav supporting Payal, would be nice if the CVs established a bond between them.

Today, while watching the episodes, I noticed two things and you mentioned both of them in your post. First, Shyam is like Arnav, an opportunistic sans conscience. He is an opportunist, one who will never lose a chance to create a fire even if its with a soaking matchstick. I am glad that the CV's have started showing this aspect of his and I wish they continue to show him strong because as they say,there is no fun in a game if the game in not between the two equals.

Second was, how two partners become mirror images of each other and this is exactly what I thinking when I was seeing Khushi and Arnav fight today. In their past confrontations, it has always been Arnav who raised his voice, who was violent and Khushi was the silent one, the meek one. But today, Khushi was the storm, Arnav was the calm, Khushi was the tornado, Arnav was the wind. He was still violent but not like before. How times have changed. They have to some extent adopted some traits of each other's personalities, now only if they noticed it, it would be great.

So let me repeat my daily mantra, "Fantastic post, Tanthya."

Below is my analysis:

Payal

Even though I am one of the people who did not like the execution of why or how Payal lost the prize today, I want to talk about the subtle message that CV's gave us through this incident:

Today because of a total stranger, Payal put her budding relationship with Mami in jeopardy. The reason for this was simple, she felt that the stranger needed the prize more than she needed it. Even though she knew, she is helping someone who is her MIL's enemy, she readily threw all her good work aside because she felt it was right. Her principles did not allow her to built her happy castle by crushing someone else's. Hence, even knowing the consequences, even knowing it will further spoil whatever little rapport she is built with Mami, she went ahead with what she thought was the right thing to do. It means that Payal values "right" more than anything and when time comes, she will support the right even if the consequence of that decision would result in the breakage of her marriage.

Another thing that I want to point out here is, today Payal told her reason for not performing to Khushi but not to Aakash. She remained numb. This means, as Doods or Tanthya had indicated previously, when times comes she will hide the truth from Aakash, whether it will be on her own volition or because of her in-laws request, we will have to wait and see.

Naniji, Humnein jo teek laga, humnein wahi kiya

This sentence was said by Khushi today to the matriarch of the family and I am glad she said it to her. Let me explain why I am saying this.

Khushi refused the price for the same reason that Payal refused it, their values, their principles which do not believe in achieving their dreams by destroying the dreams of another person. She did what she thought was right and was witnessed by none other than the matriarch of the family. Thus, I feel that this small incident will go a long way to prove that the two sisters always do what they feel right and that Payal and Khushi both are not selfish, they will never hamper another's life for their own happiness.

Thus, when the time comes, the Raizada's especially Nani will understand that the only reason that Shyam truth was not revealed by Khushi and Payal, was because of Anjali , it had nothing to do with Payal's marriage to Aakash. She will understand that they would have sacrificed Payal's marriage to support the truth, to do what is right but it was Anjali's obsessive love for Shyam which stopped them.

Another thing that I want to point out is Payal used wit to not win the competition. Her simple theory was, if you do not perform you will not win wheres Khushi used manipulation to not accept the prize. I feel we are going to witness these particular traits of the two sisters, Payal's wit and Khushi manipulation, many times in the coming future especially when they are justifying their actions.

"Dhokebaaz hain woh"

In this scene, the correct dialogue should have been "Dhokebaaz hain hum" but she said "Dhokebaaz hain woh", this means she meant it for Arnav and in a way she is right. If you see from her perspective, he has given her "Dhoka" not once but twice. Let me explain why I am saying this.

Khushi is a small town girl. Her dream was to find a person who loved her and marry him. Her definition of love was totally dreamy. She thought that when she meets that one person, her soulmate there will be happiness everywhere, there will be lights everywhere, there will be rain of stars. Did she meet that person? Yes she did and what did he do? He took her to the brink of happiness, promised her the world with his actions and then broke her heart on the most auspicious day of the year, Diwali. Another girl would have have been broken by such action, would have wallowed in self pity, but not Khuhsi, she put all her feelings in a box, changed the lover into a "Rakshas" in her mind and started life anew.

But what does the Rakshass do? He shows her that he is a human being, human being who has a heart, a heart that beats for her, a heart that cares for her, a heart that cannot see her lose, a heart that cannot see her in pain,a heart that gets tormented even with the thought of losing her or being in danger. The Rakshas changed to angel for her and restarted her ""Dhak-Dhak. His actions forced her to open that box of feelings that she had kept locked, forced her to start wishing for new things, forced her to start dreaming of forbidden things. He gifted her bangles when she just hinted about it, he bought her truckload of plates when she worried about it, he served food when she needed. In short he took her to the heights of heaven by doing all those things for her that he would never otherwise do or have done.

He did the unbelievable to win her heart and then he did the unbelievable to break her heart.

In a moment, he dropped her into the bottom of the hell from the height of the happiness. He broke all her dreams, he sacrificed all her wishes, he terminated all her ties but the biggest sin he committed was, knowing that it would hurt her, kill her, he disgraced that holy bond, for which she has lived for whole of her life, which she believed in more than anything in this world, in a place which was a second home to her, more sacred than anything and in front of that person who is more closer to her than a mother can ever be. In a moment, he turned her happy life into a painful world, a world which has still not righted, a world which though looks happy from outside, is still filled with pain, hate and torment. Khushi Kumari Gupta loves sunshine but is enduring darkness because of that one person who had silently promised to shower her with stars, light and happiness. Now tell me, was she wrong, isn't he a Dhokebaaz?

"Jeet ke liye kiya"

Wow, how this guy has changed? This was the same person who would do anything to win, would move heaven and earth to win, who would have stooped to any level to win. Today, this same guy though wants to win, has the patience to come and ask Khushi the reason that is why she is not accepting the prize. If he wanted, he could have gone above her, overcome all the objections and taken the price using either trick or threat but he deemed it necessary to ask her. Why? Because he knows, subconsciously, that she will never do anything without a valid reason, that she will not take a step, if it was not justified. He knows her, knows her thinking, knows her ways and know what make her tick and this will help him understand her actions of the past as well as the future.

Another thing that I liked about this sentence was because of this other thing that it clarifies. We all thought that the reason Arnav married Khushi was because of Anjali but was it the only reason? Today, I do not think so, because of the above sentence. Anjali was important but Arnav Singh Raizada also has a big ego and tremendous amount of pride. That day, Shyam challenged his ego, Khushi challenged his pride and he could not bear it. Winning is very important to him and he wanted to win, he wanted to hurt them them and so he used the shot that would kill both birds at the same time. He use the only weapon which he knew would hurt where it hurts most and would damaged exactly those very things which they damaged. Thus, by marrying Khushi, he damaged Shyam's ego and killed Khushi's pride, her belief in marriage. Sounds cold-blooded, right? Yes it was but Arnav Singh Raizada did not take one fact into consideration. He did not consider his emotions, his emotions for that little bombshell, who with every blast scatters them all over the place creating havoc in his mind, heart and life. Fitting Punishment...No, not enough, I guess.

Note:

Sometime back I had written Anjali cared more about Arnav and Shyam. See, today, she was more worried about making Arnav concerned than Shyam. Thus, it will always be brother over husband. Similarly, Arnav was more worried about Anjali than Khushi, sister over lover. Thus, when times comes Arnav will sacrifice Khushi, and Anjali though initially support Shyam, eventually she will choose Arnav because Arnav matters to her than Shyam ever did.

PS:

I loved the emotional support scene of Arnav and Payal, but from when has Arnav started showing physical support. That hand on shoulder was so weird. Hasn't it always been verbal for him, or may be I am wrong? It just that, I have never seen him doing that with Mami or Nani, not even today.

Brilliant post Tanthya! Loved how you kept it simple and subtle and short and yet explained everything so well! *claps*! And yes - today was the return of IPKKND for me - and for everyone of us who has been a part of Redux and that was solely because of Shyam - and no one else. Remember I said yesterday that I have always wanted to see the Arnav - Khushi and Shyam equation - and finally we saw a beginning of it - and tomorrow more so ever. Like you - I keep my fingers crossed too!

Now I really was not thinking to do an analysis today - but I have u bookmarked on my phone and as soon as the clock turns 12 I am waiting for u to post! :D - and that is the effect REDUX has on me! I have never thanked u enough for creating this platform - I do so today! Thank You!! :))

Now coming to my analysis :

-- Okay - the first 7-8 mins were a drag! I know I do not expect them to show only the Raizada members performance but it felt like a drag. Then came the mami and Payal scene - somewhere I was happy that Mami and Payal were bonding - and Mami had started trusting Payal if not explicitly - but I knew it since Monday that Payal was going to screw it up. The reason in my opinion was stupid - how could they be so sure that the rivals would have won if not any of the Raizada's!? Lame Excuse!

-- Secondly - when I said I would not like if Khushi called Arnav a dhokebaaz - I meant it. I did not like it - and I say that because I felt that the dialogue for the situation was wrong. She wanted someone else to win - I get that - but why call Arnav dhokebaaz!? I do not know. And yes - she did not do it to make Arnav angry because she had no idea he was listening. So here I was disappointed.

-- When the whole family was trying to cheer up Mami - It was only Arnav who stood by Payal. I may be reading a lot into this ( as usual) but when the truth comes out in front of the family - it will obviously strain Mami and Payal's already strained relationship and maybe Aakash's also. And that is when Arnav will be the only one standing in support of Payal and cover her up and only then will Aakash come to Payal. Frankly I loved the small scene of Arnav and Payal and I really really wish - that the creatives could develop a bond of Arnav and Payal - slowly and steadily. One important thing was Khushi was missing from the scene - she was not a part of either of the two frames

-- The Green room scene - Loved like absolutely loved Khushi here This is the Khushi I love and adore and admire - the one who fights back with passion and intensity - not the one who uses 7 year old antics to trouble someone! Sanaya and Barun were brilliant here! Arnav needs to realize that Khushi is not going to back down. Just like he does not give her any answers - he does not deserve any too. It was a tit-for-tat scene and very well played. Even in this one scene - the understanding that Khushi has of Arnav and what his actions are going to be was quite evident. We saw that yesterday also when Khushi asked him to leave like he always does and we saw it again today! Brillaint creatives!

-- Anjali and Khushi scene - one thing I noticed was Khushi's kalerin got tangles in the dress - she could not free it herself - Anjali came and did it for her. Now is it possible that it will be Anjali who will end and free Khushi of all her troubles and pain when Khushi comes to know the reason behind Arnav's!? Ofcourse yes! She will be the 'sutradhaar' for these two always!

-- Anjali fainting - Khushi concerned - Anjali calling Shyam and ordering him to go with her - frankly an illogical scene. Shyam is not a baby that he could not go alone - and Khushi is not a kid who could not request Anjali that she would go with Akash or someone else. But I get it - it was needed to build up the next setup. The medical store scene - as soon as Khushi left her handkerchief on the table - I knew what was gonna happen - but loved Khushi the way she rattled him up by calling him 'jeejaji' :D - Even the storeman was looking at Shyam - with the 'WHAT THE' look :D - Abhaas was good today and I was so glad to see him I cannot say. He kept it simple but was perfect.

- Precap - do not want to judge but Abhaas's expressions were fab! Hoping for a really good episode tomorrow! :)

@Doodhs : Love the conversation u have had with 4 lions and star plus! Yes they do lack strategic thinking - atleast I felt they did earlier on but I guess they are trying to come back on track - IPL asar obviously! But loved the points u have put up. However I do not see how Mami and Payal bond will grow stronger - because if they do not come to know of why Payal did what she did - Mami is not going to be able to trust Payal again. But I do hope u are right! :) Also love the brother and husband relation that you drew. The conflict is indeed between the brother Arnav and the lover Arnav.

@Pam : Loved ur post as usual Pam 😊 But I would dissgree on only one point : and that is the dhokebaaz point! Both Arnav and Khushi are cheats - they are cheating themselves and each other - but yesterday the situation did not demand it. I have no qualms about Khushi saying that she did not want the award with him - but calling him a cheat and that in public was out of the situation. It was not required. Is she would have said it on his face - it would have been better played. And u know what made it worse was Arnav's lack of reaction on Dhokebaaz - knowing Arnav he picks up on a word and creates a fuss and I did expect him to go directly on it! I would say nothing but poor writing.

Also - for me both Arnav and Khushi are at equal fault - Arnav a bit tad more because he still does not give Khushi the reason and has shattered all her hopes - but ultimately they both are! They both tried to play god and however right the reasons were - they were in the wrong. And that is why I seek repentance from both and not Arnav alone - and that is why I think - Khushi may not stay with Arnav but she will understand the reason behind his act and realize how big at fault even she was!

P.S : Tanthya I also think BS is very very tired - he looked like hell today - not even fresh! He was good but there was something that I felt was definitely wrong! He needs rest I think - maybe relax a bit and shave or he would not be able to justify Arnav properly! Hope to see that change soone enough! :))

lovely analysis tants, the first 10-12 minutes were a drag, it was nice to c the start of some confining between Mami and Payal but I did not expect it to last at this stage and It didn't. As u and Anna have said the reason 4declining the award was illogical and it did not guarantee the eventual winners the trophy (I have already 4gotten their names).

loved that ASR consoled Payal, it was a brief scene but good.

ASR and Khushi in the green were brilliant, Anjali is expecting so feeling dizzy is natural and not something u shud need to hide, especially not because of everyone bein worried over mami. Khushi sayin je-ja-ji loved it and Shayam's expressions was good, the chemists wat the expression was spot on. I am glad that Shayam is back in the game, loved the precap and hope they keep the momentum goin and build on the angst and tension between them and don't deviate and get amnesia again.

The first section was a waste.. I accept it was a contest hence others must be shown...but I could have done without it.. nonetheless... but I am willing to overlook that because the CV's have finally started intensifying the MU track and I truly hope it continues to catch fire.. until one of them finally erupts.. !!

Overall the episode was quite good after being disappointed yesterday Shyam was back in full form today.. this is the character I expected to see yesterday.. an opportunist.. frustration anger at seeing ArHi coming closer.. his signature smirk when he knows he has won irrespective of K's attempts to avoid at least for the time being.. Abhaas was excellent today.. he made me cringe..

Okay now on to the dhokebaaz dialogue I fail to see it's importance (a part from adding fuel to the already raging fire) really it seemed forced.. or more like another one of those instances where K does not think before she speaks.. fine she wants to help another contestant but why insult your husband in the process.. especially when he did nothing but aid and stand by her in her time of need.. Yes ArHi tend to create scenes but in this situation it was unnecessary to say I will not accept it especially not with my husband because he's a backstabber.. really why not we broke the rules hence I would prefer if another candidate received it.. and even then whose to say the one in need of financial aid is the second best.. 🤔

The best scene for me was short and simple yet held so much scope for the future. the scene where ASR left his families side to console a distraught Payal.. I adored this scene you can see a bond forming between the head.. and an individual he has chosen to support to protect.. he will stand by her when the truth is revealed until Akaash finds the courage to tear himself away from his own and support his better half.. along the way Payal will also help ASR to gradually tread towards the truth..

The confrontation was excellent I loved how they maintained the intensity of yesterday's episode.. K is aware of her husband's moods and can accurately predict his reactions to either her actions or her unwavering stance when it comes to uncovering the truth behind his sudden hatred their marriage.. ASR was true to himself a man that demands answers never once thinking he himself has kept a secret within his heart that is tearing his life his relationship apart.. I agree he no longer demeans her by stating she is beneath him but his actions remain the same.. and today K's answer had me grinning she does not owe him any explanation.. it was good to see ASR taken aback even if only for a moment.. truly how it must have felt to hear his words reiterated to his face..

she continues with what will you do throw things and does so for him.. he is seething in fury but keeping himself in check he attempts one last time to drag the truth out of her with a biting comment about doing her a favor.. which only emphasized K's determination to keep pushing his buttons.. and then the best part he does exactly what she stated he pushes over the stack of clothes on his way out.. really he never disappoints her.. 😆😆

Anjali is the key player she will not only create distances between ArHi but she will eventually also be the one to bring them together.. but she annoyed me today.. once again a sequence which made no sense but was necessary to deepen the MU track.. why do I find it hard to believe that Shyam does not know where the medical shop is.. he has lived here longer then K has.. anyways.. I expected K to be just as aggressive with Shyam as she is with ASR.. she is aware of his intentions yet she allows him to get a word in edgewise at the store.. and simply let's it go with shall we go jijaji..it was not enough for me.. I believe it's time she shared her problems with her sister.. !!

As for Anjali not wanting to worry her family members she's pregnant they will be concerned either way.. anyways I will not comment on the Precap without seeing how the scene is played out tomorrow..,!!

The initial scenes about gupta's sister's put me off honestly ..

First come first, what the hell was that dhokebaaz dialogue for??I mean with show organizer's , and she dint even knew he was listening so it wasnt to trigger his anger, she dint wanted to take the prize fair enough, but call him a dhokebaaz like that , and how is he even a dhokebaaz?? yeah coz he stood their and took part with her as she was alone.

Why was that even needed, say u dnt wanto take the prize as Nani was supposed to act and move away. Why put him down of no reason here???

I was mightly irritated at her gng to AR nt thinking of his image with her OTT acts and im irritated same way today with this scene.

And Payal, how dumb can she get, if her motive was to loose in a competition to help other women, then why make mami a laughing stock in front of a crowd?? How embarrassing it was for mami.

And how come Payal was so sure she was the one who is going to win so that she can ruin her act ?? and How was she so sure that other than payal and the other women rest wont win first?? Such overconfidence ..

What was mami's mistake here, and Akash he went first to payal, Mami slipped on stage that's so embarrassing, i wud hv loved had he atleast asked his mom first of she is alright .

U like some person or not, y insult them publicly?? 😕

I liked Mami, the way she tried to get payal act, it was funny, i jst felt bad for her.

and the green room scene was good, kushi knew what his reactions would be, and he has mellowed so so much.

Anjali-Shyam-Kushi scene, it can either be read as Anjali is the one who untangles Kushi from the trap that Shyam has laid on her. Anjali might as well be the one who might get the separation between chote and kushi, she dint wanted Kushi to say anything to Arnav nd makes kushi go with shyam ..

Abhaas was in form today. Never liked his acting skill's but today i gfelt disgusted at shyam, which means Abhaas acted well.

Payal shares everything with kushi but Kushi doesnt share a thing with payal these days.

Why is Kushi still having that egoistic feel that she can handle everything by herself??How can she alone handle a obsessed person like Shyam??

Arnav / Raizada's should hv knows about Shyam before only, even if we excluse them, y cant she share Shyam's obsession with payal??

And after coming out of green room she could hv just told the route of medical store to shyam why go along with such a person??

The way she handles Arnav and Shyam, i think She gets more feisty with Arnav and is actually submissive near Shyam..

And when will Kushi ever say truth about Shyam to any of the Raizada's??

I may hear Arnav will nt understand her, yes to heck with understanding, what understanding do they hv now, shouldnt Kushi come clean from her side??

She now knows shyam gives a fig about Anjali or his bacha , and he is getting too physical with her these days, isnt it scary to be around such a man?

Y isnt she even saying about Shyam to Bua or Garima or Payal..

Why the ghamand tht i can handle everything alone..

The precap looks promising to me, if at all ASR can get into action. He might nt see Kushi's reaction but he will spit out something in anger, and with Shyam he was going slow and making calculative move by striking him financially, now he will get into action regarding Shyam-kushi i suppose..
