My father is from Delhi and he is Punjabi š but my mother is from Tamil Nadu and she is was in love with show š. She forced me to watch with her but it got a bit boring in between, so i thought since the show is very unpredictable right now š and some people can't decide wether to watch it or not š¤¢. I'll write a short summary of the show, a lot of spoilers so don't read if you like suspence.
Dhanam's Story (Karuna): Unlike in Shubh Vivah, Dhanam was argumentive and could never really show her love for her sister, even she loved them all very much. She gets married to her maternal uncle Bose. Bose who had lost his fortune at the time, turns out to be a great uncle-cum-husband for her. The couple has a daughter who is a reflection of her mother. At the end of the show, Bose a hardworking individual earns back his fortune.
Saroja's Story (Saroj): After her marriage to Manikam/Amrit she suffers domestic violence, a cruel mother-in-low and her sister-in-law who can't see her happy. Manikam/Amrit who is not very well educated is also having an affair with Sarala, a married woman. Her only help is her kind brother-in-law who cares for her and make his brother realize about his mistake. Even when Manikam/Amrit respects his father-in-law he is brainwashed by his mother and sister into treating Saroj like trash. (This part of the show was just unbearable to watch for me, it was sooo hurting to see Saroj's pain). In the end of the show, Amrit/Manikam understands his mistake and the couple have a son Natarajan.
Leela's Story (Neelu): The third sister, she is the most bold out of the sisters. She fall's in love with Selvam, Saroj's brother-in-law but dosen't marry him because his mother tortures Saroj.
She get's married to Ravi, but he always suspects her even though she is faithful to him. He feels she still loves Selvam. Ravi was also married before but dosen't think about his wife, the couple had twin girls. But, Ravi was not happy since he wanted a boy but towards the end of the show he accepts his daughters.
I left the show in this part so sorry for any mistakes.
Viji's Story (Kanchan): She fell in love with her photographer boyfriend and married him secretly. But he cheats on her and she leaves him, hating men. She then gets married to Gopi, who is an ideal husband but wounded Viji pushes him away. Gopi was suppose to marry Nirmal (Amrit's Sister) but fell in love with Viji. Gopi was the eldest among his siblings.
Bhavani's Story (Meenu): The youngest she learns from all her sister's mistakes and is the only one higly educated. The show ended with her marriage.
