Your thesis is so interesting! All the best!
There's a movie called Hattrick that you might find useful. I found the synopsis on Wikipedia. Just copy-pasted/paraphrased the bits that would be of most relevance to you.
Paresh Rawal plays Hemendra Patel, a janitor working in UK, whose dream is to secure British citizenship. In his citizenship interview, the interviewing officer makes racist comments, making allusions to India's colonial history, and tells Hemendra he should go back to India. Hemendra's application is denied when the officer subsequently sees him cheering when England loses a wicket in a cricket match against India.
Then he discovers that his teenage daughter has an African boyfriend, gets very upset and confrontational, and eventually alienates his daughter.
At the end of the movie, Hemendra's wife confronts him. She points out how he disparages the racism of the British, but is himself similarly disposed towards his daughter's boyfriend. She indicates that he is willing to don the Union Jack merely to obtain citizenship, and asks how he expects others to be happy for him when he is unhappy and confused about himself.
Hemendra, after some introspection, decides to change for the better. He is informed that his application for citizenship has been approved, and returns home to a warm reception with his family, friends and the original interviewing officer in attendance. He decides to welcome his daughter's boyfriend to the party as well. If I remember correctly, he calls the boyfriend "kaalia" or something. Apparently affectionately.

This movie is a really sad movie... the position of that guy, struggling to get a british citizenship was so soreful... i wonder how often does it happen...

why there is any need of racism...i think black guys are really hot...they may not have those choclatey faces..but their physiques are truly sensational...the only thing i dont like abt them tht that are short tempered...last year i used to live in new delhi with an apartment next to 4 guys from nigeria...they used to pick fights with the people in building whenever they partied on the floor 😆 oh boy dose days were nightmares for me

now come back to topic...i saw one in 1 2 ka 4 when shahrukh accidently crashes onto him ...LOL
