Your topic is othering with a focus on racism against blacks or racism in general?

i am looking through few perspectives: racism and colorism. Like ponds ads calls for colorism and that lemon drink with wild blacks calls for racism. or choco ad with naomi name mentioned.

There is a thread here somewhere with screenshots of old lux ads ALL of them had a tag line related to complexion ... then there are all those Fair and Lovely ads for men ... But i can't remember any ads which were seen as racist 😕😕😕

I also remember reading that some were not exactly pleased with SRK's depiction of a Tamil guy in Ra.One .. and then there were some blog posts (about the whole North India vs South India misconceptions) that created quite a furor a few months back but may be it isnt the parameter of your research 😆

You mean because he was named after the demon Ravan there was a fuss? It sounds interesting. Ra.One is a film a have in mind as it has a soundtrack with Akon. Could you expand more on the subject you started talking?

No no ... SRK had a double role in that movie .. one of a geeky game developer (of Tamil origin) and the other of that game character G.One .. (Ra.One was the villain played by Arjun Rampal 😆) Apparently his portrayal of a Tamil guy wasn't really that good .. there was some stereotyping and stuff 🤔 And there were also some jokes about some Chinese guy i think ... I m just telling you what i read .. I havent seen Ra.One 😆

With subject u mean Ra.One or the blogs?
