When Naina goes down, she sees Atharva unattended, and as she goes to help, she sees her mother coming after cleaning the toilet, and she alerts her to the child. As he goes to lift the child, she remembers the warning which Rohini gave her which prevents her from touching the child, and she calls Rohini, who is trying to cook her food, and planning to hand the chore over to her but hears, her mother calling her and saying that Atharva is in danger. Rohini leaves her work and comes to take care of her son, and starts abusing her mother for not taking care of him, and she looks at her unable to answer her accusation. Naina watches all this without knowing, what made the mother not to take care of the child.
The mother in her distress goes to the altar of Bappa and pleads with him, and after praying for a solution, lights up the lamp and folds her hands and as tears drip down her cheeks, she wipes them, and gets up to go away. On the way out she sees Naina outside the door, and starts accusing her of watching her even while praying and planning to bring more pain to her. She tells her that she trust her own, like Sanket, Rohini and Atharva, who are her flesh and blood, and trusts them. She tells Naina, that atleast, they will not plot against her as how she has done. Naina is aghast.
The father too comes down, and sees how Rohini is insulting his wife, but when Kaka tries to tell him to protect his wife from Rohini, he tells her, that unless Vibha senses this herself, she will take no advice from any one, not even him.
Sanket comes back from the office, and he finds that Rohini is attacking his mother, saying that she has not paid attention to the child. Sanket is completely in the dark, as Rohini has skillfully, kept him out of her tricks, and he believes whatever his wife tells him. Slowly Rohini suggests to Sanket that is better to put his mother in the home for the aged, as she has been discarded by all the members of her family, and she needs the company of her own peers, to share ideas and views, but this does not go down well with Sanket. He refuses to hear anything what his wife has to tell him, and them he hears his son crying, whom he takes up from the crib and goes down to the kitchen to have a glass of water.
In the kitchen, he finds Daksh, who offers him an idea, to sing a lullaby as their mother used to do, and Sanket starts singing, and the child stops crying. Daksh draws his attention, that he is not taking the side of his mother, when accusations are hurled against her. Sanket treats Daksh as a stranger, and finds his interest in him offensive, and tells him, that Rohini is his wife. He asks that he believes her, but does not wish to figure out why the mother behaves like this. Sanket does not care to hear from him, and leaves treating Daksh as an unwanted intruder in his affairs.
Daksh is very upset, and starts an argument with Naina telling that what she told him also could be one sided, and Naina despairs and tries to figure out a way to come out of this impasse.

Ayee comes to explain to Rohini who is clasping her child, and pretends to be the injured person, and refuses to accept any explanation from her. Sanket arrives at that time and listens to the conversation between the two, and can not make any sense. Ayee is about to explain why she could not hold the child. She starts, "There was acid..." and Rohini sensing danger interrupts her, and says, that it is fine with her, and she should ask the forgiveness for her jumping to conclusions, and thus prevents her husband from knowing the truth. The mother as usual, is unable to delve into the plot of Rohini, and the hood winked husband trusts his wife.
Daksh is hurt, with the attitude of his brother who considers him a stranger. Naina tries to soothe his feelings, by bringing a delicacy prepared by their aunt. When Daksh refuses to have it, Naina teases him, and starts relishing it, and then Daksh changes his mind, and snatches the bowl from her hand and he wallps the custard, and then Naina takes it back from him, and in this to and fro game, they relax, and she hugs him, and they make up.
In the dining room, Kaka is in full swing, and as he noticds Rohini and Vibha in the kitchen, he gives a running commentary, in which the two are in a sporting activity, and he mocks them. Then when Daksh comes in he adds him too, and the game becomes between the two camps, and one trying to win a score over the other. Sanket too comes in and he becomes his target, and Rohini comes in and gives a swipe at the uncle. The uncle taunts the family saying that they do not enjoy a good laugh.
Naina is on the way to the kitchen, and she finds a bottle of acid and a cleaning rag on the ground, which she picks up and places them in the right place. She wonders who could have left them. In the meantime, Rohini gives work to her mother telling her to prepare hot water for the bath of the child, and she leaves everything and goes to the bathroom, and gets the water ready and goes back to work in the kitchen. Rohini finding that she is away from the bathroom, excuses herself and says that she has to change the diaper of her son, and goes up. In the meantime, the women are working in the kitchen, and again Kaka has his comments, and tries to lighten the atmosphere to no avail. Naina is about to comment on the acid bottle to Akruti, in the presence of their mother who pretends no to hear, and then there is a screech from Rohini, and they all rush to the bathroom, where she has heated the bath water to boiling point, and wants to put the blame on the mother. All except Kaka and Naina sense the foul play of Rohini, and Kaka says, that it is high time, to put spy cameras in the house. He taunts and mocks Rohini which the other camp does not like to hear, even if all know it is true. The mother struggles to explain, and Rohini again leaves her no chance and blames her. Sanket tries to break the impasse, and asks his mother to go and rest on her bed.
I am given to understand, that Sonakshi will accept Naina as her sister and both her mother and she will come into their lives, and turn the tables on Rohini and the blind eyes of Vibha Patwardhan will be opened. Who will save her then ? It will be again Naina. Wonder why Sanket has not found out about the cancellation of his transfer from his boss, who wanted to talk to him. Perhaps he thinks he knows, but finds it surprising that he has not thanked him for doing him a favor.

Rohini continues her attempts to confuse her mother and her husband passively looks on, without a clue to her intentions. Finally, he takes his mother to her room.
Kaka makes his snide comments at Rohini and tries to wake his sister in law into reality, but she is enmeshed in her own labyrinth of doubts and makes feeble attempts to prove herself. When Kaka attacks them stringently, his wife is unable to see the humiliation of her sister in law and takes her husband from the scene. One by one everyone from their camp leaves, and Vibha is alone contemplating her misery.
Naina is unhappy, and Daksh tries to tell his father, when he complains that his wife has tied a blindfold on her eyes and can not see reality. Daksh tells him, that after all she is a mother, and her love is sincere, and she thinks of everyone, not through her mind, but is dictated by her heart.
Rohini is now planning her next move. She leaves Sanket in a limbo, without any clue as to her motives, and he like a rudderless ship sails through troubled waters. He is a contrast to Daksh in nature and apparently he has not even bothered to find out how his transfer was changed. No doubt, with such men, their wives take over and peck them into submission. She takes a vessel full of water to her room, and soaks two bottles, one of acid and one of cough syrup. After some time, she peels off the labels and exchanges the labels on the bottle, apparently she wants her mother to clean the toilet with cough syrup. In the meantime, Naina and Akruti have joined hands on watching the mischief of Rohini, and Akruti happens to pass by Rohini's room, when she hears her doing this little game, and from a little opening in the door watches Rohini, and she sees how she dries the bottles with her hair dryer. Sensing that someone may be watching her, she starts pointing the hair dryer on her dry har, and looks outside and sees Akruti, and comes rushing to her and wants her to explain what she is doing there at her door. Akruti fumbles for answer, and finally she lets a bit of her father, and tells, "Your hair dryer noise, is very disturbing. My mother is asleep. Please dry your hair when others are not sleeping. Thank you." and she leaves. Naina finds her in the corridor and congratulates her fine acting. They share a joke together.
In the precap, we see a sad Ayee asking her children, if they are serious in sending her away. The doting Rohini is very persuasive, and her son, dumb as ever, has no answer.

Naina had arranged to entertain, Kaka's friends, who had come to see him. She had prepared snacks and tea for them, and they chatted with their friend, Sridhar for a long time. He introduced Naina and Akruti and was proudly talking about them, and then the talk turned to their children, and Naina encouraged them and said how important it is for parents to influence their children, and give impetus to their ambitions. As the friends proudly talk about their sons and daughters, the Kaka too is asked about his children, and Naina gives a good word regarding them, and Kaka feels relieved. Shyamal however, feels hurt, when her husband was not coming up to the level of his Friends, and she says so to Naina, when they were alone in the kitchen. But Naina defends Kaka, and Shyamal feels that she has something up her sleeve, as she finds he has already changed a lot.
Later, the two sides are in the living room, each in their own camps, and Rohini is trying to peck at the conversation, and Kaka in his usual vein, sends his sharp arrows into the other camp, to instigate them. Rohini finds an opening, and starts unfurling her red carpet, for her next expose and starts telling her mother, that the son needs some cough syrup. Akruti is not in the room, who had seen Rohini changing the labels on the medicine bottles, and it becomes clear what she is up to. The gullible mother, who is hell bent on proving Naina wrong, as she has a firm belief, that she is the one with the bad intentions, who has swayed her whole family from her, so, with a firm desire to be of help to her beloved daughter in law, she goes up, to bring some syrup in the bottle cap. When she comes down, Rohini sees that she has brought the medicine just as she expected from the wrong bottle, on which she had pasted the label of the syrup bottle the previous day.
The drama starts with Rohini shouting out at the confused mother, that she has again messed up, and brought the wrong thing, which would endanger the life of her son. Sanket the dumb-wit , shows a concerned look as the muscles of his face elongate his visage more than its normal size. The members of the family in the Naina camp, are having a hunch that it is one more of Rohini's tricks, and Kaka sends his barbs and taunts. When Rohini does not accept the mother's explanation, and the husband and wife walk off from the place, leaving a distraught mother alone sobbing at her predicament. Shyamal rushes to the LOC and stands there wanting to help her worn out sister in law, and an agonizing Vibha sees her and gives a pitiful look. Vidhyadhar comes to Shyamal, and assures her that he appreciates her intent to help his wife, and tells in clear tones, that it is of no use to offer any help to HER, until his wife realizes the difference between truth and untruth. Kaka too tells his wife to go away, and tells her that she is trying to put water in an upside down vessel. When they are gone, Kaka sees Naina standing there and making a vain effort to convince her Ayee, and Kaka looks back, and says to himself, wondering if Naina will succeed in filling that vessel.
As Vibha is bent over the low table crying, Naina comes forward, and asks her mother if she is alright. Vibha stands and confronts Naina telling her that she has a crooked heart and she is gloating that she has managed to take away all from her family to her side, and says, "You now think that you are leaving me alone and helpless". She tells her, that she is strong, and can fight her own battles, and she will never give in to her tricks and remain with her son and his wife and their child forever. Naina gives up her efforts and goes to call Daksh home, as soon as she finds that the Ayee has left the place.
In her room, Rohini is changing the labels once again, and pastes the original labels on the bottles. Then she goes to attend to bashing her mother, and later when she comes up, she finds that the label of the syrup battle has peeled away from the bottle, and she keeps it on the table, and hunts for the glue bottle, and opens all cup-boards to find it out. In the meantime, the label flies away from the table and falls on the ground, and she is very perturbed when Sanket comes out of the bathroom, and seeing the label he picks it from the floor, and looks at it, but before anything penetrates is thick skull, Rohini snatches the label from his hand. However, giving Sanket his due, he notices that Rohini is agitated, but instead of discovering the answer himself, he wants his wife to tell him the answer. She gives him a lengthy answer, asking him to notice how his mother is losing her mind and her span of attention has deteriorated.
The label too wants to run away from this fetid area as if it senses a danger for its existence from this evil genius, and flies out of the window into the open courtyard outside. The answer which a crooked woman would give, pleases her trusting husband, and the final outcome of what she wants to say, is to put his mother in a home for the aged as the best option for her whom they love very much, and at that time Vibha enters and hears what she has in her mind, and is astonished at the idea. This is what she gets for placing her unquestioned trust in a woman who was also was once an outsider. She had always been toting the dictum that it is not safe to trust outsiders and strangers. Now she has focused all her hatred on another 'outsider' whom she considers as a rootless person, due to her illegitimate birth.
In the precap, we see a portent of impending doom of Rohini. The label of the syrup bottle which had flown out of her window, into the courtyard, is in the hands of Naina, and with her are Daksh and Akruti, and they wonder about the label and its implications, and put it in context with the blame that was put on their mother by Rohini. They suspect foul play, but Akruti wants to know, why Rohini would like to do such a thing. Shyamal is standing at the door, and looks on them, and she tells them what is on Rohini's mind. She tells them, "Rohini wants to put Vibha in a Home for the Aged" - and all look at each other in a shock.

As Shyamal is folding the clothes, Kaka is looking through old photographs, and asks his wife, looking at her, "Whay are you looking at me like this?" He thinks that she is still thinking of what he said to Vibha. He insists that what he said was right, and she deserved to be reminded of her mistake. He is worried about his children, and reminds her that Vedant has still not come home. He tells her, that he wants her help. He is thinking of sending a photograph to the Marriage Beuraeu. She asks, "For whose marriage?" He tells it is for Akruti. Shyamal thinks that Naina was right all along. She had greater confidence that her husband would change. She goes to bring something.
Sanket, Vibha and Rohini are in the bedroom, and Vibha is shell shocked thinking of being sent out of her own house. Rohini insists, that she is right, and finds all sorts of reasons to convince her mother, that it is for her good. When finally the mother accepts, she rushes to phone her friend to find a suitable place, but Sanket stops her, and holds his mother's hands and assures her, that as long as he is alive, his mother will go nowhere, and will stay with them, She is happy, but it is now the turn of Rohini to be shocked. Sanket does not listen to her protests. Standing outside the door, Shyamal listens to everything, and stifles her sobs.
Out in the garden, Naina is walking up and down waiting for Daksh. She is with Akruti, and when Daksh arrives he asks what has happened. She tries to tell him, about all that had transpired in the house. Daksh is sitting of the swing, and Naina and Akruti are sitting on the benches on the side, and Naina is telling how, Rohini had brought the issue of wrong medicines, and the hot bath water, and she says, that there is something fishy about what is happening, but can not pin point the plan of Rohini, but definitely she knows she is trying to frame her mother up. Daksh too is confounded. Daksh gets up and says, "I will go just now, and ask Sanket what is happening in the house. " Naina rushes after him, and sprains her foot, and Daksh turns back to help her. She finds a label and is distracted, and tries to think how the label has landed in that place. Akruti notices that it beongs to the medicine bottle which Rohini was speaking about, and then they wonder how it landed here. They decide to figure it out. Naina observes that the label is not torn, and has been peeled off carefully from a bottle, and whether it was blonging to the bottle in Rohini's room. Akruti says, that it may have been the reason why Aunt was not able to distinguish the bottle of the syrup Naina feels that it has been removed deliberately by Rohini, and Akruti asks, "Why would she do that?" Shyamal who is now come to the ground tells them, that it is because she has decided to send the mother to the Home for the Aged. Kaki suggests to Daksh to speak to Sanket, but he tells her that if he had understood, he would not allowed the matter to come to this point.
In their bedroom, Sanket is trying to convince Rohini and she is upset and accuses him, that he is not thinking properly. Sanket tries to insist that he can not send his mother away, and that he has pointedly asked her to stay away from his son. Now Rohini gets her new plan. and Sanket leaves for office, asking her to take care of his mother.
In the garden, Shyamal tells them all what happened and how Sanket took a firm stand. Daksh is of the opinion that Rohini will not give up her plans and will still try to send his mother away. They wish to find a way to stop this.
In the house, Rohini has come down with her child, and is looking for her mother and calls loudly, "Ayee, Ayee" and the mother rushes into the room, and has forgotten all the past, and is at the service to do what her only daughter in law wants her to do. Rohini asks her to put her child to sleep. Ayee is surprised that she is asking it, and then with a smile takes the baby in her arms and all this is being witnessed by Daksh and Naina and their Aunt and cousin, Akruti. Ayee takes the baby and puts him to sleep, and carefully, places him in the cradle, and goes back to do her work. The grinder in the brain of Rohini is whirring, and churning her ideas, and she hits upon one, and goes and takes the baby from the cradle, and places him on the bed.
When Daksh and Naina are having their food, Rohini comes and asks her Ayee to go and bring her son, and she tells her that he is sleeping. She insists, and Ayee goes to bring the child. Soon, she comes rushing in a panic into the living room, saying "Sanket, the baby is not in the room." Rohini has hit a jackpot. Or is her hell about to start ?

The gullible mother, who is hell bent on proving Naina wrong, as she has a firm belief, that she is the one with the bad intentions, who has swayed her whole family from her, so, with a firm desire to be of help to her beloved daughter in law, she goes up, to bring some syrup in the bottle cap. When she comes down, Rohini sees that she has brought the medicine just as she expected from the wrong bottle, on which she had pasted the label of the syrup bottle the previous day.
The drama starts with Rohini shouting out at the confused mother, that she has again messed up, and brought the wrong thing, which would endanger the life of her son. Sanket the dumb-wit , shows a concerned look as the muscles of his face elongate his visage more than its normal size. The members of the family in the Naina camp, are having a hunch that it is one more of Rohini's tricks, and Kaka sends his barbs and taunts. When Rohini does not accept the mother's explanation, and the husband and wife walk off from the place, leaving a distraught mother alone sobbing at her predicament. Shyamal rushes to the LOC and stands there wanting to help her worn out sister in law, and an agonizing Vibha sees her and gives a pitiful look. Vidhyadhar comes to Shyamal, and assures her that he appreciates her intent to help his wife, and tells in clear tones, that it is of no use to offer any help to HER, until his wife realizes the difference between truth and untruth. Kaka too tells his wife to go away, and tells her that she is trying to put water in an upside down vessel. When they are gone, Kaka sees Naina standing there and making a vain effort to convince her Ayee, and Kaka looks back, and says to himself, wondering if Naina will succeed in filling that vessel.
As Vibha is bent over the low table crying, Naina comes forward, and asks her mother if she is alright. Vibha stands and confronts Naina telling her that she has a crooked heart and she is gloating that she has managed to take away all from her family to her side, and says, "You now think that you are leaving me alone and helpless". She tells her, that she is strong, and can fight her own battles, and she will never give in to her tricks and remain with her son and his wife and their child forever. Naina gives up her efforts and goes to call Daksh home, as soon as she finds that the Ayee has left the place.
In her room, Rohini is changing the labels once again, and pastes the original labels on the bottles. Then she goes to attend to bashing her mother, and later when she comes up, she finds that the label of the syrup battle has peeled away from the bottle, and she keeps it on the table, and hunts for the glue bottle, and opens all cup-boards to find it out. In the meantime, the label flies away from the table and falls on the ground, and she is very perturbed when Sanket comes out of the bathroom, and seeing the label he picks it from the floor, and looks at it, but before anything penetrates is thick skull, Rohini snatches the label from his hand. However, giving Sanket his due, he notices that Rohini is agitated, but instead of discovering the answer himself, he wants his wife to tell him the answer. She gives him a lengthy answer, asking him to notice how his mother is losing her mind and her span of attention has deteriorated.
The label too wants to run away from this fetid area as if it senses a danger for its existence from this evil genius, and flies out of the window into the open courtyard outside. The answer which a crooked woman would give, pleases her trusting husband, and the final outcome of what she wants to say, is to put his mother in a home for the aged as the best option for her whom they love very much, and at that time Vibha enters and hears what she has in her mind, and is astonished at the idea. This is what she gets for placing her unquestioned trust in a woman who was also was once an outsider. She had always been toting the dictum that it is not safe to trust outsiders and strangers. Now she has focused all her hatred on another 'outsider' whom she considers as a rootless person, due to her illegitimate birth.
In the precap, we see a portent of impending doom of Rohini. The label of the syrup bottle which had flown out of her window, into the courtyard, is in the hands of Naina, and with her are Daksh and Akruti, and they wonder about the label and its implications, and put it in context with the blame that was put on their mother by Rohini. They suspect foul play, but Akruti wants to know, why Rohini would like to do such a thing. Shyamal is standing at the door, and looks on them, and she tells them what is on Rohini's mind. She tells them, "Rohini wants to put Vibha in a Home for the Aged" - and all look at each other in a shock.

As Shyamal is folding the clothes, Kaka is looking through old photographs, and asks his wife, looking at her, "Whay are you looking at me like this?" He thinks that she is still thinking of what he said to Vibha. He insists that what he said was right, and she deserved to be reminded of her mistake. He is worried about his children, and reminds her that Vedant has still not come home. He tells her, that he wants her help. He is thinking of sending a photograph to the Marriage Beuraeu. She asks, "For whose marriage?" He tells it is for Akruti. Shyamal thinks that Naina was right all along. She had greater confidence that her husband would change. She goes to bring something.
Sanket, Vibha and Rohini are in the bedroom, and Vibha is shell shocked thinking of being sent out of her own house. Rohini insists, that she is right, and finds all sorts of reasons to convince her mother, that it is for her good. When finally the mother accepts, she rushes to phone her friend to find a suitable place, but Sanket stops her, and holds his mother's hands and assures her, that as long as he is alive, his mother will go nowhere, and will stay with them, She is happy, but it is now the turn of Rohini to be shocked. Sanket does not listen to her protests. Standing outside the door, Shyamal listens to everything, and stifles her sobs.
Out in the garden, Naina is walking up and down waiting for Daksh. She is with Akruti, and when Daksh arrives he asks what has happened. She tries to tell him, about all that had transpired in the house. Daksh is sitting of the swing, and Naina and Akruti are sitting on the benches on the side, and Naina is telling how, Rohini had brought the issue of wrong medicines, and the hot bath water, and she says, that there is something fishy about what is happening, but can not pin point the plan of Rohini, but definitely she knows she is trying to frame her mother up. Daksh too is confounded. Daksh gets up and says, "I will go just now, and ask Sanket what is happening in the house. " Naina rushes after him, and sprains her foot, and Daksh turns back to help her. She finds a label and is distracted, and tries to think how the label has landed in that place. Akruti notices that it beongs to the medicine bottle which Rohini was speaking about, and then they wonder how it landed here. They decide to figure it out. Naina observes that the label is not torn, and has been peeled off carefully from a bottle, and whether it was blonging to the bottle in Rohini's room. Akruti says, that it may have been the reason why Aunt was not able to distinguish the bottle of the syrup Naina feels that it has been removed deliberately by Rohini, and Akruti asks, "Why would she do that?" Shyamal who is now come to the ground tells them, that it is because she has decided to send the mother to the Home for the Aged. Kaki suggests to Daksh to speak to Sanket, but he tells her that if he had understood, he would not allowed the matter to come to this point.
In their bedroom, Sanket is trying to convince Rohini and she is upset and accuses him, that he is not thinking properly. Sanket tries to insist that he can not send his mother away, and that he has pointedly asked her to stay away from his son. Now Rohini gets her new plan. and Sanket leaves for office, asking her to take care of his mother.
In the garden, Shyamal tells them all what happened and how Sanket took a firm stand. Daksh is of the opinion that Rohini will not give up her plans and will still try to send his mother away. They wish to find a way to stop this.
In the house, Rohini has come down with her child, and is looking for her mother and calls loudly, "Ayee, Ayee" and the mother rushes into the room, and has forgotten all the past, and is at the service to do what her only daughter in law wants her to do. Rohini asks her to put her child to sleep. Ayee is surprised that she is asking it, and then with a smile takes the baby in her arms and all this is being witnessed by Daksh and Naina and their Aunt and cousin, Akruti. Ayee takes the baby and puts him to sleep, and carefully, places him in the cradle, and goes back to do her work. The grinder in the brain of Rohini is whirring, and churning her ideas, and she hits upon one, and goes and takes the baby from the cradle, and places him on the bed.
When Daksh and Naina are having their food, Rohini comes and asks her Ayee to go and bring her son, and she tells her that he is sleeping. She insists, and Ayee goes to bring the child. Soon, she comes rushing in a panic into the living room, saying "Sanket, the baby is not in the room." Rohini has hit a jackpot. Or is her hell about to start ?
