Sachin Parikh on Vasudha becoming No.1: “All the hard work feels totally worth It”

Sachin Parikh is currently celebrating a major milestone as his television show Vasudha continues to perform exceptionally well on the TRP charts. The actor, who has been associated with the show for the last one and a half years, expressed happiness and gratitude after the show recently completed 550 successful episodes and secured the top position in television ratings.

Sachin, who is currently seen playing a double role in the show, shared that this phase has been both exciting and challenging for him as an actor. He explained that the two characters he portrays are completely different in every respect, making the experience creatively fulfilling.

Talking about the ongoing storyline, Sachin said, “Mr. Mittal is opposite to Prabhat in terms of look, attitude, and personality. He is portrayed as a vicious business tycoon, but is actually a fake identity created by us Chauhans. This is to create fear in front of Karishma and make him look like one of the biggest enemies of the Chauhans.”

The actor further revealed that playing two contrasting characters simultaneously has allowed him to explore different emotions and performance styles. According to him, the track has become one of the most enjoyable experiences of his career.

He added, “I am playing both the roles of Prabhat Singh Chauhan and Mittal at the same time. I am really enjoying this track. It is exciting and also very challenging as an actor. It’s a treat to play two completely different characters in the same show.”

Sachin also spoke about the physical and mental effort required to perform both roles, especially under difficult weather conditions. He admitted that portraying the character of Mittal has not been easy due to the heavy costumes and the detailed look required for the role.

The actor shared, “It’s true that no pain, no gain. In this scorching heat, wearing a three-piece suit with a beard, moustache, and wig for Mittal is not easy.”

He also revealed that some recent sequences demanded physically challenging scenes, including running barefoot under extreme heat while wrapped in a blanket. Apart from that, he also performed action scenes for the show.

Talking about the show's success after all the hard work, Sachin expressed immense happiness and compared the feeling to winning a major championship.

He said, “In recent episodes, Prabhat was running barefoot in the heat with a blanket around him. I also performed some action sequences. And now that we are topping the TRP charts, it feels nothing less than winning a World Cup. All the hard work of the cast and crew feels totally worth it.”

“The Audience Is Loving This Change”

The actor believes that playing a dual role has helped him evolve professionally and has allowed him to showcase a wider range of acting. According to Sachin, every aspect of the two characters — including voice, expressions, and body language — has been designed differently.

He explained, “I am enjoying this phase because it gives me a wider range to perform. From voice modulation to body language, everything is different for both characters.”

Sachin further shared that audiences have been responding positively to the current storyline and his performance in both roles. He revealed that viewers are appreciating this transformation and are curious to see how the story develops further.

“The audience is pleasantly surprised with the current track, and I am getting a lot of positive feedback. People are loving this change in me and are excited to see what unfolds next,” he said.

The actor also admitted that becoming part of the number one show on Indian television feels extremely special after spending more than two decades working consistently in the television industry.

He added, “Now that the show is number one on Indian television, I feel truly blessed to be playing both Prabhat Singh Chauhan and Mittal. My constant and consistent work in television for the past two decades is finally getting so much love and support from viewers.”
