The twins informed their Chachu of some visitors they were waiting to come right about now so Sid opened the door to let Zeus and Shai'ra bearing gifts for the twins and to initiate them into their clan. They were the future now and it meant time had to change. It was essential for Vampires to start appointing their newest members into the clan with their very own rituals with the permission of Abhay and Pia but they had to meet the twins for themselves. They were special little hybrids.
Shai'ra let herself in picking Karishma up feeling a little maternal which was a little awkward seeming as vampires never felt emotions before not unless U were Abhay-So little one how are U finding all of this huh?
Karishma touched Shai'ra's cheek-Its ok missing Mom and Dad though. Dad espcially. He gives me raspberries and i like it when he plays with me. Mom just likes talking all the time. What about U?
Shai'ra gave Karishma a little nod sitting down with her on the sofa-I don't like feeling anything.
Karishma laughed-Get used to it. U wanna be my friend then U gotta feel otherwise whats the point? U good at doing hair? Auntie Misha sucks. She likes my curls.
Shai'ra was handed a comb by Jeh-Sure. Stay still ok? Who is this for?
Karishma looked at Jeh blushing and then back at Shai'ra-Mom and Dad are coming back i wanna look pretty.
Jeh scowled feeling a little uncomfortable. He knew Abhay was going to skin him alive if not today then another day. She was only just a kid but the time he'd spent with her felt surreal.
Zeus beamed at Surya-So little man i guess U are the man i have to get approval of joining into a little treaty with your friends huh?
Surya gave a grin-Yup! But i already approve so U don't need to butter me up. We have company coming very soon. So lets wrap the formailties. Don't worry about Mom and Dad they'll do what we want anyway.
Karishma gasped-Momma is here. Jeh take me now. I wanna go see them. (Her whole face lit up.) Chachu bring bhaiya.
Surya raised his arms up so Sid would take them outside-Tara auntie they are here. Finish the rest off with magic i am sure Rosa will help U.
Outside Abhay and Pia both emerged out of the street corner into their footpath with smiles across their face seeing their children. Abhay grabbed hold of his daughter who couldn't stop giggling and kissed her Dad's cheek and then his lips holding him tight.
Abhay loved the smell of baby scent and she looked pretty in pink with her cheek blushing rosy-How was my princess huh?
Karishma's eyes soaked up her father's gorgeous face as he held her steady as she touched his cheeks-I missed U a lot. Did U miss me huh? Did U?
Abhay felt the warmth in his daughters voice and saw the longing in her eyes-Papa missed his Angel too much. (Kissing her cheek and then blowing raspberries on it making her giggle uncontrollably) Much better. Daddy likes the new look suits my Princess.
Karishma touched his dimple-U guys have been gone a week what did U get me?
Abhay pulled a curled smile-Now i see why you've missed us. U want your presents now don't U?
Karishma showed her tongue-No silly. I don't need anything when I have U guys. It was an excuse to kick U out of the house so Mom and U can enjoy your time away from us and give us time to help Chachu.
Surya was given over to Pia who was looking rather pleased at how her children were already so grown up but felt bad at missing a week of being in their lives-So this plan was both your ideas. So what did my angels get up to while we were away?
Surya proudly answered-Oh you'll see the results Mom. All in good time isn't that right Chachu?
Surya high fived his Father still in his Mothers arms.
Abhay gave his brother a quick glance-What have U been feeding them Sid? And what are they on about?
Sid sheepishly winked-Oh you'll see bro very soon. For now U need to go tend to your guests. The bosses are here to appoint the twins as the face of our race.
They all headed towards their home where they greeted the superiors with a warm welcome. Abhay was filled in on what was going to heppen being persuaded by his twins that this would ensure everyone remained under one umbrella.
Zeus ventured to Abhay and Pia relaying what fine children they had were very charismatic-We have to go now. It was only a short visit.
Pia hoped they's stay a little longer-We have brought a little something for everyone.
Shai'ra managed-Maybe next year but we have to get going. You'll be having more guests coming over soon.
Surya answered softly-Nanu and his family are coming and they aren't happy.
Pia faced Abhay looking a little worried-Oh no! I forgot about Dad. What are we going to do Abhay. They don't know about the twins.
Zeus headed out with Shai'ra-Like we said U have your plates full.
Shai'ra placed a little locket around Karishma-This will always keep U in my mind little one.
Zeus did the same with Surya-Bye my little special Angels.
Pia placed her son down as Sid, Tara, Chand and Haseena brought in the bags they'd brought back from their trip.
Pia showed her children the photos they'd taken to ease her nerves. As a vampire she found it extremely difficult to control her anxieties but her children kept her focussed. Chand had kept himself a little busy with Haseena on a little nightwalk.
Surya placed his little fingers around Pia's hand-Mom don't sweat it out if Nanu is mad he'll chill soon. We'll make him chill won't we?
Abhay handed his children orders not to bite their human family-U know they aren't like the rest of us ok?
Jeh was still hanging around Kari-Ananya we should get going.
Karishma shrieked-No!!!!!!!!!
Abhay frowned-What's going on here?
Karishma mused-Papa i like my friends here. We all want then to stay.
Abhay sensed something was going on here-Spill.
Karishma blurted-He's my best friend ok. I have no friends and he can't go.
Pia nodded her head so Abhay will back off-We have bigger problems here Abhay. Deal with this later ok.
Abhay reluctantly agreed-Fine but i want the full story.
Maithali got hold of the twins to take them away from sight holding Sid's hands causing a stir-Yes Sid and I are together now.
Abhay and Pia both looked at each other then at the kids-All this in one week.
Surya winked-We told U we had a lot of work to do papa. That's why we needed U out of the way.
Pia checked the mirror to check if she looked ok then at Abhay-I have no idea what i will say.
Maithali advised-Just be as honest as U can. We've had enough deception to last us a lifetime.
There was a ring at the door and Abhay opened it making sure the children were out of sight-Good afternoon Dad.
Arnab saw Pia was as thin as ever looking rather pale if not a little placid-So where are the twins? I can't believe U both kept thsi from me and why might i add?
Misha bit her lip-I sorta told him about the twins and that they aren't babies any more. The rest so i rambled a little.
Madhoo placed a hand on her husbands shoulder-Arnab give them a little time to explain hoey.
Pia breathed out letting them all take a seat and then nodding up the stairs for Maithali to bring the twins down.
Pia cleared her throat-Dad U know how we fed U lies about not knowing how pregnant i was well i had a condition called advanced pregnancy which only happens to erm this was the first time a non human has been able to father a child with a human.
Arnab was looking like somebody had hit his head with a hammer-I know i'm obsessed with vampires Pia but what has this far fetched...
Pia showed Arnab what she was baring her fangs-Don't be afraid Papa. Misha knew about this and well i didn't know how you'd react. I've only been like this for the past month and a half and my twins are both one month old but they look around a year old. I was turned after i had them Dad. And i am happy. Its the best thing for me. I have my love and my babies.
Maithali handed the twins over to Abhay giving Arnab another shock-I'm more or less Pia except i am human. Its a long story and you'd need to stay the night to find out what all of this is.
Sid beamed-I am Abhay's brother also a vampire.
Arnab now staring at the twins in Abhay's arms looking the spitting image of Abhay but he could see Pia in them especially in their demeanour and in their eyes.
Karishma giggled playing with her father looking a little worried-Nanu we are harmless. U can hold us if U like?
Pia bit her lips-Dad i know this is all full on but they are my babies and if U can't accept them then I can't accept U being here. My family is all i have and i need to know what U are planning on doing ok because i won't allow U to unsettle them in anyway.
Surya butted in-But Mom give Nanu a chance. He's digesting all of this.
Arnab was shocked at how advanced these kids were-Pia i love U beta but this is all... I am shocked ok.
Madhoo was feeling tongue tied-Pia try to be reasonable. Give him a little time.
Pia nodded-I am; All i am saying is for him to be careful with what he says around my twins.
Abhay handed his daughter to Misha-Why don't U take her with U and we sort this all out without the twins here.
Surya resisted-But we can help.
Abhay sternly gave his stubborn son the look-U will do as i ask young man. Now go with Uncle Sid.
Surya maoned-But...
Karishma pulled a sullen sulky face-Papa just let Nanu carry us na...
Misha gave Pia a glance-Pia its your call. The twins have won everyone over maybe...
Surya persisted-Papa U know we can help...
Pia grabbed Surya from Sid-Fine. If U kids think it will help. Papa U want to hold them?
Arnab felt the cold hands of his daughter brush against his skin then the warmth of his grandson-The contrast. They're
Surya finished-Alive. Nanu now we have a lot of catching up to do.
Arnab was intrigued at his grandson's speech to his attitude almost like he was some science project-I can't believe how advanced they are.
Karishma beamed-Pap U go. Leave us with Nanu. We have loads of questions from him a la Mommy style. U go with Misha Auntie ok?
Abhay held on to Pia kissing her cheek and then looking at his children with wary eyes-I think we'll stay here for now.
Surya rolled his eyes-Nanu tell me U didn't rasie stubborn daughters like Misha auntie and Panchie Auntie. U have my commiserations. See what we have to deal with.
Arnab let out a laugh-U know what? My household has always been run by women so Nanu has had 3 mad women to deal with i wish your Mom...
Surya saw the sadness in his eyes-Don't worry we'll more than make up for her. We are a lot more demanding than Mom and a lot more than U can deal with kind of problem children.
Mdhoo cuddled Karishma-U look just like your Mother. With your beautuful curls but U look the spitting image of your Dad.
Karishma showed her proud looks blsuhing-U think i look pretty?
Madhoo wiped her black eye liner placing a dot on Karishma's chin-This will ward U off of bad eyes. U are beautiful my child. So special.
Karishma beamed clapping-Your very pretty too. Nanu is lucky. So U like shopping huh? Will U take me with U? I love shopping but we haven't been shopping.
Madhoo beamed-Of couse.
Pia and Abhay were amazed at how engrossed Arnab and Madhoo had gotten with the twins. Misha whispered-Your kids have them wrapped round their finger already see. Just give them a few hours to themselves. U should see what they did to poor Sid. Made him into every animal possible. Chip off the old block hey Abhay?
With this Abhay and Pia were mere spectators waiting to see how Arnab and Madhoo took their news. It was a bombshell but if anyone can win Arnab it would be his twins.
Abhay gave Pia a light kiss on her lips admiring their miracles but wishing they had this night with just their twins. He was a little worried about how the next few hours would pan out.
